Many ignorant people think the Totenkopf (skull & crossbones) used as a Military insignia is something "satanic".
Heinrich Himmler stated the meaning of this insignia, and I quote:
"The Skull is the reminder that you shall always be willing to put your self at stake for the life of the whole community"
