Israel may let sponsors beam messages onto Western Wall

By Avi Nalaf, Haaretz Correspondent

Most people go to the Western Wall to pray, but now some will also head there to pay.

The cabinet is set to approve a plan that would allow for sponsorship messages to be beamed onto the Western Wall, sources in the Prime Minister's Office told Haaretz Saturday.

If the law is passed by the Knesset, any company will be able to project the image, logo or slogan of its choice on the ancient stones, for a price...

This is really rather sad. 2000 years ago our Lord threw them out of the Temple for this sin and now at what is supposedly the only remnant of the outer wall of the same Temple - they are about to do the same thing!
Iran unexpectedly surfaces hidden nuclear stockpile

Iran has left international weapons inspectors stunned over the past two weeks as it suddenly moved virtually all of its underground nuclear fuel stockpile to an above-ground plant, and now the international community is struggling to determine what the country might be planning.

Rivero's Commentary:

If the nuclear stockpile is being placed in an above-ground plant, any bombing of facility that would send a cloud of nuclear material that could potentially poison the entire region - including Israel, depending on the prevailing winds - for some time to come.

By placing their nuclear facility above ground, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard is attempting to prevent an attack on Iran, rather than invite one.

I find it difficult to believe, whatever one might think of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps' ideology, that these men don't love their children and families, and would not want any harm to come to them.
Ruben Rosario: Cops' seat-belt sting did the job. But was it right?

By Rubén Rosario

The FBI had Donnie Brasco, the undercover agent who infiltrated the mob. Maplewood police have "Homeless Harry" — my moniker for the undercover cop who last weekend bagged a completely different kind of outlaw. Let me explain.

Blake Elfstrom, 22, of Maplewood, was driving his girlfriend home late Sunday morning. He was the fourth car at a stop sign before turning onto westbound Minnesota 36 from northbound McKnight Road in North St. Paul.

That was when he spotted a shabbily dressed, middle-aged man wearing glasses that seemed too big for his face. The man, who turned out to be Maplewood cop Paul Bartz, was holding up a sign — "Will work for food" — as he approached and looked inside the line of waiting vehicles.

Elfstrom was pondering whether to roll down his window when he saw the cars moving ahead of him. He entered the on-ramp, only to be waved to the side of the road moments later by one of several uniformed cops standing near a line of patrol cars.

He asked the cop why he was being pulled over. The officer told him his girlfriend was in violation of a 9-month-old law that gives Minnesota law enforcement the authority to pull over drivers and occupants for not wearing seat belts.

"How in the world did you know?" Elfstrom asked the ticketing officer.

"That homeless guy back there? He's an officer," the cop replied.

"I saw about 10 other cars pulled over as he wrote out the (summons)," said Elfstrom, who recently graduated from college. "Yes, I was quite surprised by it."

Elfstrom's girlfriend was tagged for $108 — the state-mandated $25 fine for a first-time offender, plus the $75 the law allows as a petty-misdemeanor surcharge fee — repeat after me: this is not a tax, it's a fee — that goes into the state general fund. The remaining $8 — repeat again: it's not a tax, it's a fee — goes to fund law libraries...

This is just unbelievable!

Real crimes go completely unpunished and are not even investigated in many cases - yet these clowns - these girlie-man cops who taser 7 year olds, elderly woman, and wheelchair bound handicapped people - are out dressing as homeless people to give you fines for not wearing a seat belt!

They are just tools used to steal our money under the guise of "fines" for our Jewish controlled governments - they do the zionist dirty work.

Just recently in my hometown two young men were snowmobiling - they were good friends - as they rode - the young man in front hit a rise in the ice on the frozen lake that they were on and was thrown from his snowmobile - the man behind him struck him and killed him. It was a terrible tragedy.

The young man who hit his friend was given a breathalyzer test and blew a .04 - half the legal limit of .08. This clearly demonstrated that the man was not intoxicated - yet he is being charged with homicide by the intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and could face 15 years or more in prison!

When I questioned a local law enforcement officer about this - he said that if you had one beer or one glass of wine and drove home and got into an accident and there was a fatality - you would be charged with the same!

Real criminals are getting away with murder and theft by the billions - yet law abiding citizens are being persecuted to no end.

I cannot imagine how or why anyone would want to work in law enforcement today - because it has become nothing more than a job to harass and rob the citizens and prepare them for a police state beyond anything that was imagined in the novel 1984!
Europe wary of following Dubai killers' trail

By FRANK JORDANS, Associated Press Writer Frank Jordans, Associated Press Writer – Sat Feb 27, 2:18 pm ET

GENEVA – A killer — or killers — may be on the loose in Europe after a Hamas operative was slain last month in Dubai.

European nations, however, seem to be in no rush to find him, her or them.

The spotlight is falling on those countries where police say the alleged assassins' trails begin and end: Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

Authorities there have either declined to say whether they are investigating, or told The Associated Press they have no reason to hunt down the 26 suspects implicated in the Jan. 19 killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.

European countries' reluctance to investigate may have something to do with the widely held belief that the killing of al-Mabhouh was carried out by a friendly country's intelligence agency — Israel's Mossad. The Jewish state has previously identified him as the point man for smuggling weapons to the Gaza Strip's Hamas rulers.

Experts say arresting Israeli agents — or even digging up further evidence that Israel was involved — could be politically costly...

Matthew 4: 8-10

"Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, And said to him: All these will I give thee, if falling down thou wilt adore me. Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan: for it is written: The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt thou serve."

Israel and its supporters have fallen down and worship Satan and hence have been given all the kingdoms of the world because they worship not Jesus Christ - the Lord God!

Her Doctrine and Morals
Second Sunday in Lent
28 February 2010

Dear Friend,
Today we are reminded again of the Divinity of Jesus Christ. He was transfigured before a few of His Apostles and there they witness the glory of God and of two of His closest friends, Moses and Elias. The beauty of this scene inspires St. Peter to suggest that they build shelter for them — obviously because he wished to stay there awhile. Then they hear the magnificent voice of the Father and fall face down to the earth in fear.
This is the glory of God that awaits all who would be the friends of Christ. As the intensity of God's glory manifests itself to us, we will be overcome with fear like these Apostles knowing our own weakness and unworthiness. Our human nature weakened by sin is incapable of beholding the beauty of God without a special grace.
So God in His mercy towards us remains hidden lest we die from beholding Him face to face, just as He hid His splendor and glory from the Apostles once again.
We behold Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament hidden from our view lest we remain away from Him out of fear. God is so set upon uniting us with Himself and seeing that we are incapable of rising up to Him, He has lowered Himself to us. He remains hidden to the proud and mighty of this world but, finds great pleasure in revealing Himself to the humble and lowly.
So it must be with the eyes of faith that we see and believe. It is with full trust in God that we come to Him, and it is with hope that we long for the day we can see Him face to face and not be killed in the process. But most of all it must be for the love of Him. This transfiguration has been related again to us to keep this glorious hope alive in our souls to give us greater faith and love so that we will have the courage and strength to bear our crosses and sufferings in this life in a worthy manner.
St. Paul tells us in today's epistle how to do this. God wills our sanctification through abstinence from fornication. We should all learn how to keep our bodies in sanctification and honor, and not in the passion of lust, like those that do not know God. In our business dealings we should be honest and above board. Why? Because God is the avenger of all these things. God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto sanctification in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In disciplining ourselves in just these two areas we allow the graces of God to effectually cleanse our souls and sanctify us. And from this point onward we are cleansed more and more and drawn closer and closer to God. As this sanctity transforms our hearts, minds, and souls a veil is lifted from our eyes and we are given the privilege of seeing the glory of God, and not being struck dead with fear.
In the Holy Eucharist we perceive beauty, holiness, and goodness to the degree that we free ourselves from sins _ particularly the grosser sins of impurity and lying and cheating.
In our examination of conscience we beg of God the light to show us to ourselves and the courage and humility to confess our sins so that we may receive pardon and absolution.

In our confession we free ourselves from the heavy burden of sin and go away with a purified soul eager for the graces of God, and if we persevere in this state we are gradually lead up the mountain of our faith where we will no longer behold bread upon our altars. At least with the eyes of faith, if not with the eyes of the body, we will behold the glory of God shining forth for us.
In Holy Communion there is often an intimate communication between God and a chosen soul at that particular moment. And for at least a brief passing moment we are given a glimpse of Heaven. Christ is transfigured before us. And in the beauty of the moment we feel the desire of St. Peter as he exclaimed: It is good for us to be here. And we desire to preserve this moment forever. Let us build tents so that we will not have to go home.
But, because of the weakness of our fallen nature, as the glory of this moment increases the joy and the happiness give way to fear and the knowledge of our unworthiness and then we look up and all is as it was before. We admonish ourselves to keep quiet about the graces we have received less it be nothing more than our fanciful imagination. But, in the end we cannot forget the things that were experienced within the depth of our own souls. And this is to give us strength and courage to continue on in our pursuit of perfection in embracing our penances, crosses, and sufferings for the love of God.
I will attempt day by day to break my will into pieces. I want to do God's Holy Will, not my own! - Saint Gabriel Possenti

Born in Assisi, Italy, March 1, 1838; died on Isola di Gran Sasso, Abruzzi, Italy, on February 27, 1862; canonized in 1920.
Francis Possenti, the 11th of thirteen children of the lawyer Sante Possenti, was raised in a wealthy family that was both pious and cultured. His mother died when he was only four years old, and his father had just been appointed the registrar of Spoleto.

He was so inordinately vain and innocently, but passionately, devoted to worldly pleasures, that his friends referred to him as il damerino ('the ladies' man'). Before he finished school at the Jesuit college at Spoleto, he fell dangerously ill, and he promised that if he recovered, he would enter religious life. Upon his recovery, however, he did not act immediately upon his promise. Sure, he joined the Jesuits at age 17 but delayed entering the novitiate.
A year or two later, when he fell ill again, he renewed his promise. Once again he recovered. This time he fulfilled his vow and astonished everyone when he announced that he was entering the Passionist Order at Morovalle near Macerata immediately upon his graduation in 1856.
His religious life was one of love throughout--joyous love made all the sweeter by the penances prescribed by his rule, which he fulfilled to the letter. There was nothing extraordinary about him except his fidelity to prayer, his love of mortification, and his joyfulness of spirit.
He was ordained, but, at the age of 23, just after finishing his studies, he was stricken with tuberculosis and died at age 24. Through his intercession it is believed that Saint Gemma Galgani was cured of spinal tuberculosis (Attwater, Benedictines, Butler, Delaney, Encyclopedia, White).
Gabriel is the patron saint of students, particularly those in colleges and seminaries (acting as a model to them), of the clergy, and of young people involved in Catholic Action in Italy (White).

.Knesset criminalises the commemoration of the "Nakba"

A new law in Israel makes it a crime to commemorate what Palestinians call the "Nakba", the "catastrophe" of their dispossession by the creation of the Zionist state in 1948. The Knesset, Israel's parliament, has passed "The Nakba Draft Law" after just one reading. Penalties will be imposed on anyone showing signs of sadness and mourning within the (undefined) borders of Israel on 15 May; Palestinians remember on that day the creation of the refugee crisis that remains after 62 years.

Hebrew radio reported this week that the law is intended to stop people mourning on what is Israeli Independence Day; commemorative acts are, it is claimed, tantamount to "denying the Jewish character of Israel [and] insulting the symbols of the state". The radio noted that the fines might amount up to three times the expenditure of commemorative programmes.

According to one commentator, it is ironic that this law has been passed at a time when Israel is complaining about attempts to "de-legitimise" the Zionist state. Here is an example of Israel's own "de-legitimisation" of the Palestinians, their land and their culture, he said.
Wisdom from a City leader ( in Rockford, Illinois):

"I think abortion is taking a child's life, but I respect the law that allows it"

Venita Hervey - Fifth Ward Alderman

Rockford Register Star article Feb. 13, 2010

St. Basil the Great (360): “Much time had I spent in vanity, and had wasted nearly all my youth acquiring the sort of wisdom made foolish by God. Then once, like a man roused from deep sleep, I turned my eyes to the marvelous light of the truth of the Gospel, and I perceived the uselessness of the ‘wisdom… of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away’ (1 Cor. 2:6). I wept many tears over my miserable life and I prayed that I might receive guidance to admit me to the doctrines of the true religion.”

Liberals and Atheists Smarter? Intelligent People Have Values Novel in Human Evolutionary History, Study Finds

ScienceDaily (Feb. 24, 2010) — More intelligent people are statistically significantly more likely to exhibit social values and religious and political preferences that are novel to the human species in evolutionary history. Specifically, liberalism and atheism, and for men (but not women), preference for sexual exclusivity correlate with higher intelligence, a new study finds...

Wanna bet the study was conducted by liberals and atheists?
Israeli government videos portray Europeans as gullible

The Israeli government has produced a series of spoof videos portraying how it believes the country is perceived by ignorant and gullible Europeans...

What is really going on here is that some Europeans are waking up and not so gullible - so Israel is going to engage in a public relations campain to make the Europeans who are waking up - look like morons!

GOP Senate race grows heated over Israel,0,6642209.story

In a dispute that commingles foreign policy and a quest for political advantage, U.S.-Israel relations have taken an unexpectedly central role in the California race for Senate.

Rivals in the race for the Republican nomination are questioning whether former Rep. Tom Campbell is sufficiently supportive of Israel. They base their criticisms on his voting record, statements about a Palestinian homeland and capital, and some of his past associates.

Their allegations have raised enough concerns for Campbell that he plans to meet Monday with the influential American Israel Public Affairs Committee. He also is reaching out to other Jewish leaders. His campaign's honorary chairman, former U.S. Secretary of State George P. Shultz, weighed in to call Campbell's support for the nation "unwavering."...

Can you even believe this - our nation is in the worst economic shape since the great depression, we are involved in two wars where thousands of US soldiers have died, California - the state for which these two traitors are running to represent is bankrupt - and they are fighting over who kisses Israel's behind with more love!

This is just more evidence that regardless of political party - our nation is owned by Israel - even so-called conservative politicians like Ron Paul, Alan Keyes, and the US Constitution Party are big time pro-Israel.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had politicians and political parties who put America first?

Hungarian lawmakers make Holocaust denial illegal

February 23, 2010

BUDAPEST (JTA) -- Hungary's Parliament has passed a bill making Holocaust denial a criminal offense.

The legislation, which would mandate prison terms of up to three years for those found guilty of publicly "denying, questioning or making light of the Holocaust," was approved Monday night in the presence of Jewish community leaders...

I wonder - if it is a crime to deny the Resurrection of Our Lord in Hungry or if it is against the Law to "make light of our Lord"?

The truth needs no laws to defend it or protect it - only lies need laws to protect them!

Doyle signs sex education bill into law
Patrick Marley of the Journal Sentinel

Madison — Sex education classes in Wisconsin public schools will have to teach students about birth control and sexually transmitted diseases under a bill Gov. Jim Doyle signed Wednesday.
"It is very important in my mind that the teaching be done consistent with these standards (in the new law) - that it be based on accurate information, that it be medically correct, that it be age appropriate, and that we not have political ideology make the decision on what is taught to our young people, but rather scientific facts and good, basic knowledge," Doyle said.
The West Allis-West Milwaukee School District will have to end an abstinence-only program it offers. It's unclear how many other schools will have to alter their sex education courses.
All Republicans voted against the bill when it passed the Assembly in November and the Senate last month. They said the bill infringed on local officials to set standards in their schools.
Democrats argued the abstinence-only program have caused high rates of teen pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
Sex education courses will now have to include information about how to use condoms and other forms of birth control and describe their benefits and side effects. They will also have to tell students how to prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
They would also have to explain to students they could face criminal charges for having sex with those under 16.
Parents could remove their children from sex ed classes, as they can now. Schools could decide not to have a sex education program, but they would have to notify parents of that decision.
Vatican bioethicist under fire for backing abortion in child rape case

VATICAN CITY (AP) — The Vatican's top bioethics official on Monday dismissed calls for his resignation following an uproar over his defense of doctors who aborted the twin fetuses of a 9-year-old child who was raped by her stepfather...

..."This is an absurd state of affairs in a Pontifical Academy for Life but one which can be rectified only by those who are responsible for his appointment as president."

Pope Benedict XVI appointed Fisichella to the post in 2008...

...Monsignor Michel Schooyans, an academy member and emeritus professor at Belgium's Louvain University, said Fisischella had fallen into the trap of "bogus compassion," in supporting the doctors.

"Instead of expressing compassion for the young and innocent victims, 'compassion' is extended to those who have inflicted immense harm on these victims,'" Schooyans wrote last month...

Press Release -- Undercover investigation of Milwaukee Planned Parenthood reveals cover-up of purported statutory rape

Today, Live Action Films revealed an undercover video taken at the Milwaukee , Wisconsin , Planned Parenthood. The undercover footage shows the Planned Parenthood staff counseling a purportedly 14-year-old statutory rape victim not to tell anyone about her 31-year-old boyfriend and coaching her how to obtain an abortion without her parents' consent.

“Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin is the state’s number one abortion provider, both surgical and chemical. Planned Parenthood has proven time and again there is a continued pattern of covering up sexual abuse,” said Virginia Zignego, communications director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “In Wisconsin , sex between an adult and a minor under age 16 is a felony and must be reported to law enforcement. Planned Parenthood does not care about the children of Wisconsin , just the money for abortions.”

To view the undercover video, go to Live Action’s Web site,
Yesterday, Pro-Life Wisconsin revealed the results of an open records request, which showed that the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics (UWHC) has been funding medical students’ rotations at Planned Parenthood, training medical students in abortion procedures. State law prohibits taxpayer funding of elective abortions. Click here to view the press release.

“Planned Parenthood clearly believes they are above the law,” Zignego continued. “It is time for our elected officials to step up and launch an investigation.”

The phone number for the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office is (414) 278-4646.

The Milwaukee Planned Parenthood received $1,064,574.28 in 2007 under Wisconsin ’s Family Planning Waiver Program. Through this federal/state program, minors as young as 15 receive free birth control, without their parents’ knowledge or consent.

Conceive clearly just in what sanctity consists, else you will never attain the only object of existence. It does not consist in the extraordinary! Not in visions, rapts, ecstasies, interior locutions, the gifts of miracles, prophecy, or tears! It is not necessary that we receive the stigmata on our hands, feet, and side. We need not be graced with the ability to read hearts or be in more than one place at one time. But it does demand that we be in the one place the duty of our state in life requires that we be, and that we be doing our specific duty with the intention of fulfilling God's will.

Just in case you were duped into believing that Glenn Beck was a conservative...

He has many liberal pals

Yes, it’s true. Beck’s personal publicist, Matt Hiltzik, is a Democratic power player who helped get Hillary Rodham Clinton elected to the U.S. Senate. “And let me tell you about Liz Julis, the editor of my magazine, Fusion,” he says. “Every year, I match charitable donations that my employees make. She ends up giving her money away to some hippie hemp farm somewhere, and she loves to rub it in that I’m writing a check for something like that. She’s one of my favorite people because we hardly agree on anything, but we challenge each other.”

He once went religion shopping

Raised Catholic, Beck wasn’t a practicing anything when he proposed to his current wife, Tania. She insisted that they find a church to join, concluding that God needed to be a part of their future family’s life. “We tried ’em all,” Beck says. “Unitarian, Episcopalian, Baptist, even a synagogue. We ended up with the Church of Latter-day Saints because I took my daughters from my first marriage there, and they said, ‘Dad, this place makes us feel warm and welcome inside. Can we come back?’ ”

Britney Spears "made" his career

Beck was your classic “morning zoo”-style DJ, the one who made prank calls on the air to unsuspecting citizens to tell them their car was being repossessed. He got into the business as a teen in 1979, when radio was all about Floyd, Zep and the Who. He left music radio two decades later, when pop divas ruled the airwaves. “I’d be spinning Britney Spears records, and I knew this was no longer what I was about,” he says. “The easiest thing I ever did was walk away. I still don’t consider myself a political commentator. I’m a pop culture commentator at heart.”

He believes in global warming

“You’d be an idiot not to notice the temperature change,” he says. He also says there’s a legit case that global warming has, at least in part, been caused by mankind. He has tried to do his part by buying a home with a “green” design and using energy-saving products. “I’m willing to do anything but use the CFLs,” he says of compact fluorescent light bulbs. “I put them in once and couldn’t stand the way they lit up the room.”

Her Doctrine and Morals
First Sunday in Lent
21 February 2010

Dear Friend,
Devils are all around us. No one is free from their attacks. Even Our Lord was made to suffer the attacks of the devil as we see in today's gospel.
Not all of our temptations are from devils, we are also subject to concupiscence from our fallen nature, and temptations from the world around us. But, the works of devils are far more than we generally tend to think.
It is beneficial for us all to be reminded at the beginning of Lent of the tools and weapons at our disposal for resisting and warding off the temptations of devils.
First we must pray. All prayer is good and effectual in repulsing the devils, but at the top of our list should be the sign of the cross. St. Chrysostom says: "We vehemently tremble when we behold places where malefactors were executed; how terrified must the devil be when he beholds the cross, that weapon which mortally wounded him. The evil spirits scarcely get the first glimpse of this sign, when, full of fear, and trembling, they take to flight."
Next, we should make frequent use of the invocation of the most sacred name of Jesus. "In My name they shall cast out devils" (Mark 16:17) St. Athanasius said: "The power of Christ is so great that the evil spirits sink back into nothingness before it, and can not even stand before the invocation of the name of Jesus."
Thirdly, let us make frequent use of holy water. St. Teresa says: "To banish evil spirits so that they will not return, there is nothing more effectual than holy water. It is no vain imagination: I have often experienced it."
But, above all we must earnestly resist. In human affairs we cannot help but be overcome by superior forces, but this is not the case in the supernatural realm. If the devil assault us, notwithstanding his power and subtlety, we can resist because it is not we alone who fight, but Almighty God who fights in us and with us, and helps us on to victory. "I can do all things in Him who strengtheneth me." (Phil. 4:13)
St. Justina, having become a Christian, vowed her virginity to God, Aglaides, a Pagan youth, wished to espouse her, but all in vain. He went to a sorcerer in order to conquer Justina with the help of the evil one. The sorcerer conjured the powers of darkness, and Justina was obliged to endure the most violent temptations day and night; but she earnestly resisted, prayed, fasted, and invoked Jesus and Mary for protection and help, signed herself with the sign of the cross, and, behold, the temptation ceased. The devil told the sorcerer that Justina was a Christian, and that he had no power over Christians who courageously fight and confide in the Lord. The sorcerer (Cyprian) became a Christian, and obtained with Justina the crown of martyrdom.
Let us also consider the devil that killed the seven husbands of Sara, because of their incontinence. Sara and Tobias conquered this devil by persevering in prayer the first three nights of their wedding, and only after this did they engage in the privileges of marriage for the love of God and the desire for children.
It is therefore groundless for some to lay their sins exclusively to the charge of the devil, and say: "It was the devil made me do this or that." If they had not listened to the devil, he could not have allured them to sin. St. Augustine says: "The devil is like a chained dog, he can bite no one unless he imprudently goes near him. Yes, he may growl, show his teeth, and snarl, but he can not bite us, for he can not go beyond the length of his chain. Show him the cross, and he will fly back into his fiery kennel in hell." St. Augustine continues: "As the old enemy is strong when dealing with those who assent to him, so he is weak against those who resist him. If you consent to his suggestions, you can no more tame him than a lion, but if you resist him, you can trample upon him as upon an ant."
Pray as soon as you perceive a temptation within you; act like little children, who when afraid, run to their father and mother, or at least cry for help. Go to God in your temptations, and ask His help, grace, and mercy. Make the sign of the cross frequently, invoke the Holy Name of Jesus, sprinkle yourselves with holy water, and recommend yourselves to the protection of the Blessed Virgin, the angels and saints.

Avoid every kind of sin, but especially impurity, cursing and blaspheming; and live piously. The devil has no power over pious Christians. Repeat often that you would rather die than sin.

Professor banned from teaching following verbal confrontation and exposing an Israeli Defense Soldier posing as a student and acting as an FBI Informant in his classroom!

A tenured Portland State economics professor is currently suspended from teaching after he publicly accused a student during a class lecture of being an FBI informant and of trying to sell guns to students.

Professor John Hall, during his 2 p.m. “Economics 445/545: Comparative Economic Systems” class on Jan. 14th, verbally harangued student Zachary Bucharest for nearly half an hour, according to students in the class.

Hall, who has taught at PSU for 24 years, began the class with a lecture relevant to the course material but about halfway through the two-hour long class, he began to describe his experiences with law enforcement in other countries including Eastern Europe, according to a student who wished to remain anonymous.

Hall claimed to have been surveilled at times throughout his life and then told the class that an FBI informant and agent provocateur was in their midst. Hall said this person served as a sniper in the Israeli army and called him a killer with access to a personal arsenal.

He then pointed at Bucharest and identified him as the informant in question, according to the unnamed student.

Bucharest, a student at PSU since the fall of 2006 and the current chief of staff for ASPSU, sat silently throughout the ordeal, according to students in the class.

Hall accused Bucharest of trying to organize students to participate in violent acts against the university, according to the unnamed student.

Hall also said he believed that Bucharest is at times armed while on campus. He then put a letter on the document projector that he wrote to the FBI’s Portland Field Office. In the letter, Hall claims to know Bucharest’s identity as an agent. He then handed Bucharest a copy of the letter and told him to give it to his superiors.

After a time of silence, Bucharest got up and said that some of Hall’s claims about his military background were true, but that other claims the professor made were not. Bucharest left the classroom after being told by Hall to leave and not to come back to PSU, according to students...

We need more people like this Professor brave enough to expose these criminals in our midst!

The Dresden Debate Won’t Die

Today’s idea: Sixty-five years after the bombing of Dresden and other German cities during World War II, debate festers over whether the intention was to kill as many civilians as possible.

History A year ago, this blog pointed to an interview with a British historian who contended that the destruction of Dresden, 65 years ago this past weekend, had a clear military rationale, since it was a communications and transit hub. “I remain unconvinced that maximizing civilian casualties, rather than winning the war by whatever means necessary,” was the chief objective, said Frederick Taylor.

But recently in The New Statesman, Leo McKinstry sifted through archives that he says contradict the British government’s longstanding denials that killing civilians en masse was a primary aim of wartime air raids on German cities:

Typical was a paper, now in the archives of Cambridge University, written in August 1941 by the bombing operations directorate of the air ministry. This argued that the focus of future British attacks must be “the people in their homes and in factories, also the services such as electricity, gas and water upon which the industrial and domestic life of the area depends.” Warming to this theme, the directorate then found support for such theories in the Luftwaffe’s [1940] bombing of Coventry [toll: nearly 600 dead]. To most Britons, this attack had been an outrage. To the Air Staff, it was an inspiration. The assault on Coventry, argued the paper, was “one of the most successful raids carried out by the German Air Force on this country,” with a ton of high explosive and incendiaries for every 800 citizens. “If Bomber Command could carry out a raid on the Coventry scale every month, the result would be a complete state of panic in the industrialized west of Germany,” as well as “considerable loss of life and limb, widespread destruction and damage to the houses of workers.”

Mr. McKinstry adds that Sir Arthur “Bomber” Harris, who ran the Royal Air Force’s devastating bombing campaign with gusto, saw “the euphemisms and evasions that his superiors used to cover up the reality” as an insult to the heroic men in his command. The officer wrote in 1943: “The aim of Bomber Command should be unambiguously and publicly stated. That aim is the destruction of German cities, the killing of German workers and the disruption of civilized life throughout Germany.” [The New Statesman]

The long suppressed story of the worst massacre in the history of the world.

If the British Commonwealth and the United States last a thousand years, men may say that this was their darkest hour.

Were all the crimes against humanity committed during World War II the work of Hitler's underlings? That was certainly the impression created by the fact that only Germans were brought to trial at Nüremburg. Alas! It is a false impression. We all now know that in the terrible struggle waged between the Red Army and the German Wehrmacht, the Russians displayed their fair share of insensate inhumanity. What is less widely recognized -- because the truth, until only recently, has been deliberately suppressed -- is that the Western democracies were responsible for the most senseless single act of mass murder committed in the whole course of World War II.

Interesting - Planned Parenthood is trying to push sex on 10 year olds - yet says:

"Fundamentalist and other religious groups the
– Catholic Church and madrasas (Islamic schools) for example –
have imposed tremendous barriers that prevent young people,
particularly, from obtaining information and services related
to sex and reproduction. Currently, many religious teachings
deny the pleasurable and positive aspects of sex and limited
guidelines for sexual education often focus on abstinence
before marriage (although evidence shows this strategy has
been ineffective in many settings)."

Note that they do not single out Judaism - odd -perhaps since the Talmud - the highest holy book of Judaism sees nothing wrong with grown men having sex with three year olds!

Talmud - book of Kethuboth

"When a grown up man has intercourse with a little girl it is nothing, for when the girl is less than this - that is, less than three years old, it is as if one puts the finger into the eye, tears come to the eye again and again, so does virginity come back to the little girl under three years."

Now you know whose sick and vile playbook Planned Parenthood is following and working toward!

On Behest of Chief Rabbi Pope Calls for Mercy for Martin Grossman

St. Petersburg, FL - The Vatican is calling for mercy for a man scheduled to be executed today for killing a young Florida wildlife officer 25 years ago.

But even the Pope doesn't argue that Martin Edward Grossman is innocent.

Grossman, who shot and killed Margaret "Peggy'' Park on Dec. 13, 1984, "has repented and is now a changed person, having become a man of faith,'' wrote Archbishop Fernando Filoni on behalf of Pope Benedict XVI. He asked for "whatever steps may be possible to save the life of Mr. Grossman.''

Filoni wrote the letter at the behest of the chief rabbi of Israel, Shear-Yashuv Cohen...

...Park, a Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission officer, found a stolen Luger pistol in the van Grossman and Taylor were in and tried to report it.

But Grossman, fearing the offense would violate his probation and land him back in prison, attacked the officer with her own flashlight as she used her radio.

"I'm hit," Park yelled over the radio.

Grossman called for Taylor to help him subdue the officer. Park managed to draw her .357 magnum and fire off a wild shot inside her patrol vehicle. Then she kicked Taylor in the groin.

But the 6-foot-4, 225-pound Grossman overpowered the 5-foot-5, 115-pound officer. He broke her fingers wrenching the .357 away from Park and shot her in the back of the head...

surprisingly - it didn't work and justice was served.

This is the phony so-called "bishop" of Rochester, New York displaying his apostasy and heresy for the entire world to read - he is so protestant it will make your head spin!!!!

Lay ministers bring gifts to church
The Catholic Church, among others, has been forced to contend with a steady decline in ordained priests and ministers. It is natural, I suppose, to see this trend as disturbing, as a loss from which there seems to be no recovery.
But lay people have stepped forward in ever-larger numbers to share in church ministry, And their presence "is not just a sign of innovation or revision, but is a sign of true renewal and hope," Bishop Matthew Clark writes in a new book, Forward in Hope: Saying Amen to Lay Ecclesial Ministry (Ave Maria Press, $11.95).
Clark, the bishop of the 12-county Rochester diocese since 1979, attributes the rise in lay ministers — who, depending on the needs of their parishes, work as administrators, or teachers, help prepare couples for marriage or for the baptism of a child, visit the sick, counsel those in need, preside at prayer services, and much more — not just to a shortage of priests, but to the teachings of the 1960s Second Vatican Council.
Clark came to terms with — and came to love — the council's vision that the work and mission of the church belongs to all of God's people. "I recognized the profound shift in the documents talking about the Church not as the hierarchy, but as the People of God," he writes. "Clergy and laity share the one mission of God."
Clark says he welcomed the council's emphasis on collegiality. "Bishops are no longer pictured as isolated monarchs," he writes. The emphasis is now on the "collective relationships among dioceses." And from there, he says, "collegiality became a benchmark for the shared ministries of all."
Consistent with his theme of collegiality, Clark includes brief essays from several lay ministers. Rose Davis, the pastoral associate at the Cathedral Community parish in Rochester (formed from the consolidation of Holy Rosary, Most Precious Blood and Sacred Heart parishes), writes that she was surprised at first that her ministry felt a lot like parenting.
"But doesn't that really make sense?" she asks. "Both vocations have the same fundamental goal: to love the people God has placed in your care." And perhaps the parenting model helps explain the new reality of the church. "In human families," she writes, "the roles of parents are not necessarily competitive; rather they are unique and complementary." So, too, clerical and lay ministers must work together, sharing their talents and creating dynamism in the life of the parish...................

Doesn't it make you want to vomit??? Another woman "pastoral associate" usurping the role of priest that God - that's right - Almighty God said MUST be performed by a MAN!!! And that phony heretic so-called "bishop" approves!
I have news for Matthew Clark - there are two Bishops in the Diocese of Rochester and YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THEM!!!!

Holocaust Claims Conf. Fraud Put At $350,000; No Survivor Funds Bilked

by Stewart Ain

The Claims Conference fired three employees last week who allegedly approved more than 100 fraudulent Holocaust-era claims — filed primarily by Russians now living in Brooklyn — that bilked the German government out of more than $350,000, The Jewish Week has learned...

The are ALL fraudulent claims because there was no holocaust! These must just be the most blatently obvious ones if the press is reporting on it - think about how many of these holocaust stories have now been exposed as total lies - from the Ann Frank diary to the couple on Oprah - this whole thing is a lie!
9/11 Panel Suspected Deception by Pentagon
Allegations Brought to Inspectors General

By Dan Eggen
Washington Post Staff Writer
Wednesday, August 2, 2006

Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon's initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate.

Suspicion of wrongdoing ran so deep that the 10-member commission, in a secret meeting at the end of its tenure in summer 2004, debated referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation, according to several commission sources. Staff members and some commissioners thought that e-mails and other evidence provided enough probable cause to believe that military and aviation officials violated the law by making false statements to Congress and to the commission, hoping to hide the bungled response to the hijackings, these sources said...

This is an older story, but I suspect that we are going to see more of these false flag attacks in the future - and we need to be reminded of just what is really going on. If the 9/11 story is as we were told - why the cover ups and deceptions? Think about it...

Catholic Church no longer swears by truth of the Bible

By Ruth Gledhill, Religion Correspondent

The Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true.

The Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland are warning their five million worshippers, as well as any others drawn to the study of scripture, that they should not expect “total accuracy” from the Bible...

the following passages were specifically sited as UNTRUE:

Genesis ii, 21-22

So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept he took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh; and the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man

Genesis iii, 16

God said to the woman [after she was beguiled by the serpent]: “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children, yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

Matthew xxvii, 25

The words of the crowd: “His blood be on us and on our children.”

Revelation xix,20

And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had worked the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshipped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.”

gee i wonder who is behind this satanic nonsense? note the passage from Matthew specifically said to be not true!

The Bolsheviks used to aim to hit an enemy hard at its strongest point in the belief that a telling blow there would bring down the whole edifice. By contrast, Yoav Shamir, the Israeli director of the film Defamation, shown on More4 this week, chooses mainly easy targets. He presents some interesting material but he does so in a way that does not make the most of it.

The first easy target, queasily enough, is the film-maker's own grandmother who lives in Jerusalem. She says that Jews don't come to live in Israel because they are too busy swindling the non-Jews among whom they live. When I saw the film at the London Jewish Film Festival the audience laughed at Shamir's silly grandmother. If I was a film-maker I wouldn't use my grandmother in this way...

Her Doctrine and Morals
Quinquagesima Sunday
14 February 2010

Dear Friend,

We stand once more on the threshold of the season of Lent.
This is our second penitential season of the year, and perhaps the most important. It is a time of preparation so that we may culminate the season with the remembrance of Christ's Passion and most agonizing death on the cross in reparation for our sins. This is a very sad thought and many would accuse the Church of spreading a dark and gloomy cloud over this time, and being most negative. But, this is not true. It is The Resurrection that we look forward to with great joy and anticipation. Christ the first to rise from the dead will one day raise us all from the dead.

Now every Catholic knows that before there can be a Resurrection, there must first be a death. And before the death there must be the cross. The cross and suffering must come before the joy and celebration of the Resurrection.

It is in this spirit that St. Paul is writing to us today of Charity. If we are to enter this season of penance correctly we must be motivated by Love.
Without love all our sacrifices and penances and all of our works are in vain. And if we pass this penitential season in vain then there will be no glorious celebration of the Resurrection for us either. It is essential that we enter willingly and cheerfully into this penitential season as Christ took up His cross for us. But, most importantly we must enter and continue all the way through this season with love in our hearts. This was the driving force behind Our Lord's sacrifice for us and so it must be likewise our driving force to make whatever sacrifices and penances we perform.

We often hear of the beauty and joy of love, but we seldom think of the pain and suffering that love brings upon us. The greatest love is in laying down one's life for those whom one loves. This is what Christ exemplified for us over two-thousand years ago; and this is the love that the saints and principally the martyrs throughout history have returned to Him. And they are all calling out to us to follow them in love.

I dare say that only those who have suffered in/for love have any idea of what it means to truly love. For most have only scratched the surface of affection and think they have loved. They imagine that they have suffered but their "suffering" is all too often only slightly bruised pride, rather than the heart crushing pain that comes from true self-sacrificing love that is all too often unrequited.

In today's gospel Our Lord tells His followers all that is about to transpire concerning the suffering and death that await Him and then of His Resurrection three days later. But, all of this never sinks in. They just do not get it. It is so contrary to our human way of thinking. It goes against almost every fiber of our nature. The Apostles might be forgiven for their lack of understanding, but we with over two-thousand years of hindsight cannot be so quickly forgiven if we fail to grasp the significance, and importance of this event.

Too often we are like the blind man. And like the blind man we fail to see the truth before us. The blind man had hope that Christ could help him and he cried out in this hope despite all the attempts by others to silence and suppress this hope of his. This hope must be ours likewise. No matter how hopeless our situation may appear to us and/or to those around us, we must not give up but increase our hope like this blind man. In response to this hope he is heard by Christ. Now we see the man's faith: "Lord that I may see." And according to his faith he was healed.

Like this blind man we must not fear or be despondent, but be filled with hope and faith so that we are able to benefit from the graces that God is constantly offering to us. But above all we must have charity. For without this all else is empty. Without love all life loses its meaning and purpose.
We were created to love and without love we are lost.

Let us plan out our Lenten season with our penances and sacrifices filled with faith and hope that God will be pleased and will give us a reward greater than we can imagine (Not only raising us from the dead, but lifting us up to eternal happiness with Him in heaven.).
But, above all let us enter and live out this Lenten season and the rest of our lives filled with Charity for God and our fellow men. It is this virtue of love that gives worth and meaning to all our works, even the most insignificant of our actions. The greater the love, the greater the sacrifice must be and consequently the greater the sacrifice is the greater the reward will be. Much will be forgiven to those who have loved much.

Mumps outbreak spreads among people who got vaccinated against mumps

(NaturalNews) To hear the vaccine pushers say it, all the recent outbreaks of mumps and measles are caused by too few people seeking out vaccinations. It's all those "non-vaccinated people" who are a danger to society, they say, because they can spread disease.

Reality tells a different story, however: It is the vaccinated people who are causing these outbreaks and spreading disease!

Just this week, an outbreak of mumps among more than 1,000 people in New Jersey and New York has raised alarm among infectious disease authorities. The outbreak itself is not unusual, though. What's unusual is that the health authorities slipped up and admitted that most of the people infected with mumps had already been vaccinated against mumps.

In Ocean County, New Jersey, county spokeswoman Leslie Terjesen told CNN that 77 percent of those who caught mumps had already been vaccinated against mumps...

Remember also - the MMR vaccine was the first one derived from the use of babies that were aborted for the purpose of making a vaccine against Rubella!
New York wants to inject your kids with the HPV vaccine without your consent!

Two bills in the New York State legislature would, if passed, allow healthcare practitioners to vaccinate children under 18 against HPV without their parent’s consent. The bills would require the vaccinations before children could attend school, leading to the interesting potential scenario of schools vaccinating kids without their parents’ consent simply because the child wants to stay in school.
So it begins....

Cardinal asks dialogue partners if an
ecumenical catechism might work
By Cindy Wooden
VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- A Vatican official has floated the idea of a shared "ecumenical catechism" as one of the potential fruits of 40 years of dialogue among Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists and members of the Reformed churches.
"We have affirmed our common foundation in Jesus Christ and the Holy Trinity as expressed in our common creed and in the doctrine of the first ecumenical councils," Cardinal Walter Kasper, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, told representatives of the churches.
Opening a three-day symposium at the Vatican to brainstorm on the future of ecumenism, Cardinal Kasper said it is essential "to keep alive the memory of our achievements" in dialogue, educate the faithful about how much has been accomplished and prepare a new generation to carry on the work.
He said the members of his council "proposed an ecumenical catechism that would be written in consultation with our partners," but "we do not yet have any idea how such a catechism could be structured and written.
"One thing for sure, he said, is that there is a need for "an ecumenism of basics that identifies, reinforces and deepens the common foundation" of faith in Christ and belief in the tenets of the creed.
The churches may hold those positions officially, but if their members do not hold firmly to the basics of Christian faith, the dialogue cannot move forward, the cardinal said.
Cardinal Kasper, a theologian who will be 77 in March and has led the council for nine years, also said that ecumenical dialogue "is perhaps in danger of becoming a matter for specialists and thus of moving away from the grassroots.

"He called for "a people-centered ecumenism" that would support and give new energy to the theological dialogues.
The symposium was a follow-up to the publication in October of "Harvesting the Fruits," a book complied by Cardinal Kasper and his staff summarizing the results of 40 years of official Catholic dialogue with the Anglican Communion, the Lutheran World Federation, the World Methodist Council and the World Alliance of Reformed Churches.
As for questions that still must be tackled in order for Christians to reach full unity and be able to share the Eucharist, the cardinal identified two basic areas: a common understanding of the church and its structure; and a common approach to applying the Gospel to modern social and moral concerns without falling into relativism.
Ethical issues, such as homosexuality and women's equality, not only divide churches, he said, they raise more fundamental questions for modern and post-modern society, such as, "What is man, and what does it mean to be a man or woman in God's plan?
"In the area of church structure and ministry, he said, the dialogues have seen progress toward a common agreement on the sacramental nature of ordination and on apostolic succession in the ministry of bishops, and have taken initial steps toward discussing the primacy of the bishop of Rome, the pope. But on a more basic level, the dialogues must get into "not only what is the church, but where is the church?
Has God given his church a specific structure or has he left the church to find its own structure, in such a way that a pluralism of structures is possible?" Cardinal Kasper asked.

The cardinal said the Vatican needs to better explain to its dialogue partners the Catholic conviction that "the Catholic Church is the church of Christ and that the Catholic Church is the true church," even while "there exist many and important elements of the church of Christ outside the visible boundaries of the Catholic Church.
"The Catholic Church does believe "there are deficits in the other churches," he said. "Yet on another level there are deficits, or rather wounds stemming from division and wounds deriving from sin, also in the Catholic Church."Ecumenical dialogue is the place where all Christians "learn to grow and mature in their faithfulness to Christ," he said, and as each moves closer to Christ, they naturally will move closer to each other.
