BERLIN — A divorced woman once described as "a cross between Mother Teresa and Demi Moore" was Wednesday elected head of Germany's Protestant church, the first woman to hold the post.
"Trusting in God's help, I accept the vote," she said.
The charismatic Kaessmann hit the headlines around the world in 2007 when she became the first bishop in Germany to file for divorce from her husband, also a leading member of the Lutheran church.
She was Germany's youngest bishop when she was consecrated in 1999 and has since survived an operation to remove breast cancer.
In 2003, the Frankfurter Allgemeine daily reported that she was known within the organisation as a "mixture of Mother Teresa and Demi Moore."

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
1 November 2009
Today, we focus our attention upon the Church triumphant _ those members of our family (the Mystical Body of Christ) who are now rewarded with the eternal blessed happiness of the Beatific Vision in Heaven.
So here we find ourselves today recounting the lives of the many saints and rejoicing in their success, but of what use is this to us if we do not follow in their footsteps?
All the saints in heaven prove just how foolish such ideas are. They have done it. They have lived in this world just like we are now doing. Many of them have lived lives that were much more difficult than anything we have or ever will face here on earth, and with the grace of God they succeeded.
With the grace of God we can do all things. We say this and we believe it, but we then make the excuse that perhaps it is God's fault the we do not have His grace and thus will be lost for eternity and there is nothing that we can do about it.
His grace is always there. "My grace is sufficient for thee." What is wanting is our willingness to cooperate with His grace. God blesses us with the daily crosses that we need so that we can imitate Him and follow Him, and He likewise gives us all the necessary graces that we need so that we can successfully do this.
The deficiency is in our weak wills. We must therefore cry out to God with all the faith, hope, and charity that we can muster, begging Him for strength in our wills.
We see that our family members in heaven have reached their goal and are calling forth to us here below. Let us hear their calls and consider their lives that they lived here on earth and their lives now in heaven. They know what it is like here and they can help us if we will only ask them to and allow them to.
If we wish to please these friends of ours in heaven we must strive with all our being to follow them. We must praise them with the sincerest praise _ a serious and true imitation of their lives of heroic virtue.

Catholics! Hear the voice of reason and truth! Let your guardian angel inspire you to good works of prayer and piety on the solemn Vigil of All Saints, All Hallows Eve. While innocents are murdered in cold blood and demons dance with hellacious boasting at such an apparent victory; let us snatch souls away from the jaws of hell! We can and we must pray on this night, and invoke those holy saints whom we prepare to honor for their intercession in the conversion of demonicly disoriented souls, and the graces necessary for the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ to persevere in efficacious prayer to send these devils reeling back into hell, from whence they have come, by the Almighty Power of Our Lord Jesus Christ Crucified. Let us here recount some of the weapons we may use in our combat:
Meditate with grief and compunction upon the Passion of Our Lord, which is our hope for victory.
Say the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary in honor of the Mother of Sorrows.
Resolve to bless our homes daily with holy water, something the devils despise with ferocity.
Say private exorcism prayers, which any baptized Catholic is allowed to do. The Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel is particularly effective.
Sing hymns to honor the Blessed Sacrament, Holy Trinity, and the Blessed Virgin Mary in any way that the Spirit shall move you.

Elderly woman objecting to homosexual pride parade equated with murderers by Channel 4
Article Published: 29th October 2009
Mrs Pauline Howe, a committed Christian, who complained to the Norwich City Council that a homosexual event had been allowed to go ahead in the city centre, was equated by Channel 4 News with murderers who killed Ian Baynham, a homosexual man, in September 2009.
Channel 4 News reported yesterday:
‘According to police figures, Liverpool is among several large cities, which has seen a rise of ‘hate crimes’. Reports ranging from the homophobic murder of 62-year-old Ian Baynham in Trafalgar Square in September to elderly women complaining about gay marches through towns. Figures are rising.’
(Click here to watch the video)
Mrs Howe wrote her letter to the council blaming homosexuals for ‘their perverted sexual practice’ and sexually transmitting diseases as well as the ‘downfall of every Empire’. She added:
‘It is shameful that this small, but vociferous lobby should be allowed such a display unwarranted by the minimal number of homosexuals.’
Two officers later turned up at the frightened grandmother’s home and informed her that she may have committed a crime. After lecturing her about the choice of words, they told her that she will not be prosecuted.
Mrs Howe spoke of her shock at the visit and accused police of 'wasting resources' on her case rather than fighting criminals.

Less Than 10%, Maybe Even Less Than 1% of Vaccine Side Effects Reported
By Thaddeus M. Baklinski
October 28, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A researcher with Merck Pharmaceutical who helped develop the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix, has revealed that the controversial drugs will do little to reduce cervical cancer rates and may cause more illness than the disease they are intended to prevent.
Dr. Diane Harper, director of the Gynecologic Cancer Prevention Research Group at the University of Missouri, and lead researcher in the development of the two vaccines, made these remarks during an address at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination in Reston, Virginia on Oct. 2-4.
Dr. Harper has on several occasions warned that the vaccines were being "over-marketed" and the research on their potential side effects not properly carried out.
Dr. Harper told CBS News on August 19, 2009 that "young girls and their parents should receive more complete warnings before receiving the vaccine" and that a girl is more likely to die from an adverse reaction to Gardasil than from cervical cancer.
A report by Steven W. Mosher and Joan Robinson of the Population Research Institute (PRI), who attended Dr. Harper's presentation at the Conference on Vaccination, states that although her talk was intended to promote the vaccine, it left many of the health professionals wondering if the drug should be given at all, considering its "poor promise of efficacy as a vaccine married to a high risk of life-threatening side effects." Gardasil, Dr. Harper explained, is promoted by Merck, the pharmaceutical manufacturer, as a "safe and effective" prevention measure against cervical cancer. The theory behind the vaccine is that, as HPV may cause cervical cancer, conferring a greater immunity of some strains of HPV might reduce the incidence of this form of cancer. In pursuit of this goal, tens of millions of American girls have been vaccinated to date.
Dr. Harper Indicates Vaccine "will not lower the rate of cervical cancer in the US" Dr. Harper also explained, however, that 70% of HPV infections resolve themselves without treatment in one year. After two years, this rate climbs to 90%. Of the remaining 10% of HPV infections, only half coincide with the development of cervical cancer.
"Indeed," Robinson continued, Dr. Harper "surprised her audience by stating that the incidence of cervical cancer in the U.S. is so low that 'if we get the vaccine and continue PAP screening, we will not lower the rate of cervical cancer in the US.'"
At this point Dr. Harper said that "with the use of Gardasil, there will be no decrease in cervical cancer until at least 70% of the population is vaccinated, and in that case, the decrease will be very minimal. The highest amount of minimal decrease will appear in 60 years."
In the US, the cervical cancer rate is 8 per 100,000 women, and is one of the most treatable forms of cancer. The current death rate from cervical cancer is between 1.6 to 3.7 deaths per 100,000 cases of the disease and is steadily declining due to traditional PAP tests and treatment.
The PRI report points out that the most recent records from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) indicate 15,037 girls have officially reported adverse side effects from Gardasil in the US, and that the Center for Disease Control (CDC) acknowledges that there have been 44 reported deaths linked to the vaccine.
Less Than 10%, Maybe Even Less Than 1% of Vaccine Side Effects Reported Of even greater concern is the probability that numbers of deaths and adverse effects are underestimated.
Dr. Harper's comments in an ABC News report concur with the National Vaccine Information Center's claim that "though nearly 70 percent of all Gardasil reaction reports were filed by Merck, a whopping 89 percent of the reports Merck did file were so incomplete there was not enough information for health officials to do a proper follow-up and review."
PRI's Steven Mosher concluded the report on Dr. Harper's revelations by offering some thoughts on the intense promotion of Gardasil by not only the manufacturer of the vaccine, but by state and country government agencies.
"I think that they see Gardasil as what one might call a "wedge" drug. For them, the success of this public vaccination campaign has less to do with stopping cervical cancer, than it does with opening the door to other vaccination campaigns for other sexually transmitted diseases, and perhaps even including pregnancy itself.
"For if they can overcome the objections of parents and religious organizations to vaccinating pre-pubescent - and not sexually active - girls against one form of STD, then it will make it easier for them to embark on similar programs in the future.
"After all, the proponents of sexual liberation are determined not to let mere disease - or even death - stand in the way of their pleasures. They believe that there must be technological solutions to the diseases that have arisen from their relentless promotion of promiscuity. After all, the alternative is too horrible to contemplate: They might have to learn to control their appetites. And they might have to teach abstinence."

CNA STAFF, Oct 28, 2009 / 05:28 pm (CNA).- The Archbishops of New York and Philadelphia have made a “friendly wager” on the outcome of the 2009 World Series, promising to send the other a batch of their own city’s specialty food if their home team loses.
“I have great esteem for Archbishop Dolan. He is a gifted spiritual leader who has been a true friend for many years. That is why I am so sorry he will be disappointed when the Phillies successfully defend their World Championship. We have the cream cheese ready for the bagels that I know will be arriving shortly after the Repeat in the City of Brotherly and Sisterly love.”
He also addressed fans of New York City’s other Major League Baseball team, the struggling Mets. “Please remember that October 28, the first day of the World Series, is also the Feast of Saint Jude, the Patron Saint of Impossible Cases.” http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/new.php?n=17518
Looking a little closer, I noticed the bottles of wine and the other wine racks on the side, the tall glass of beer on the altar and the plant. Turns out that this is a bar in England that uses an old altar. It is in an Italian restaurant in Rochdale, England, fittingly known as Fallen Angels.
The altar used to be in the chapel of Notre Dame High School For Girls. The Sisters of Notre Dame of Namur bought it in around 1905 and imported the gorgeous altar from Italy. It is stunningly-made of Italian marble. The school closed in the 1970s and the building was torn down. The Sisters had sold it in good faith to a man claiming to be a broker for a convent in Ireland. A priest who lives not far from there said that at the time the restaurant was opened, there was a bit of a stink about it in the press but that the diocese could do nothing about it.
How very sad! Can you imagine how many times Our Lord was brought down to this altar by the hands of a priest and laid Himself on it. How many souls attended Holy Mass and were nourished by Our Lord's Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. The altar stone, which contained the relics of special saints, long gone. And now, people sit here and get drunk, use foul language and all other manner of sin!

Parish shows support for Willenborg
By CHAD DALLYStaff Writer
Published: Tuesday, October 20, 2009 9:58 AM CDT
The parishioners waved and gave each other hugs as they made their way to the pews Sunday morning at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Ashland. Some members of the 1,350-family parish were dressed in their Sunday best, while others donned jackets emblazoned with the Packers green and gold.
But there seems to be unanimity among the parish in their support for Father Henry Willenborg."Father Henry brought healing to our church when we needed it most," said Ella Teague, chairwoman of the church's Parish Council.
"Father Henry has the total support of the parish council, and I believe he has support from our entire parish." Willenborg was suspended Friday following a story in The New York Times that he fathered a child 22 years ago, and that he allegedly carried on a relationship around the same time with a woman who would have been of high school age.
Bishop Peter Christensen, leader of the Diocese of Superior, said Sunday that, contrary to some media reports, Willenborg was not suspended for fathering a child 22 years ago in Illinois during a five-year relationship with Pat Bond. The accusation of a relationship with a minor, along with a second allegation by Pat Bond, with whom he had a son, that Willenborg encouraged her to have an abortion during their first pregnancy, were the reasons why he was suspended, Christensen said.
Bond has alleged that Willenborg encouraged her to have an abortion during their first pregnancy, which ended in a miscarriage. Christensen was told by Willenborg that he would not have forced Bond to have an abortion, but did admit to a "passing thought" about abortion during a moment of panic, according to The New York Times article...
The fact that Willenborg fathered a child, Nathan Halbach, with Bond was not part of his decision to suspend Willenborg with pay, Christensen said after he addressed members of the Our Lady parish Sunday.
The story has already generated anger among a number of readers on The Daily Press Web site, but several parishioners who spoke to Press said the fact that Willenborg fathered a child is not cause to shun him.
"I think there's a presumption that he's a priest and supposed to be perfect," said Andrew Broman. "But they forget that he's human and a person just like the rest of us."
Broman said he's always appreciated Willenborg's sermons, which were more "like a story" and frequently included Willenborg's own experiences. Broman and his wife, Claudia Curran Broman, were married by "Father Henry, who also provided pre-marital counseling. Curran Broman said she was disappointed that the Times' coverage of the situation didn't include local opinions of the priest, or the kind of person he is now versus the events that occurred more than 20 years ago.
(Full disclosure: Broman and Curran Broman are former employees of The Daily Press.)
Another parishioner, who asked not to be identified, said Willenborg has "done nothing but good for this parish."
"We all have our pasts," she said. "We may want to keep things in the closet, but sometimes they creep out of the closet."
Following Sunday's mass, Christensen said the information about Willenborg's past has been tough for the parish because "they've only known him as a great priest."
"They've known him as a caring, kind and gentle soul, and this situation runs contrary to what they've believed about him," he said.
Willenborg first told the parishioners about fathering a child and other allegations in the matter the weekend of Sept. 19, two days after it was learned the information would come to light in The New York Times.
In talking with the Times, Bond broke a confidentiality agreement signed after Nathan's birth, which exchanged her silence for at least $85,000 in child support, some of which was used for a down payment on a home and some to pay medical expenses. Both Bond and Halbach are battling cancer.
Christensen on Sunday read from a letter by Father Bill Spencer of the Franciscan Province, which said the Franciscan order has exceeded legal requirements for payments, and is "continually willing to provide appropriate financial support for the young man."
Although reaction among some parishioners is of support, Christensen on Sunday acknowledged opinions far less than favorable do exist.
"The reactions to his infidelities are varied, as you can imagine. Some are in full denial — 'No way, no way could he have done that' — to total rage of 'How could he?'" Christensen said during his remarks, which were also broadcast on WATW AM 1400.
He also said in one respect, a story about a priest fathering a child is a good thing, because it still shows there is a high regard for priests and the standards they are required to uphold.
"It would not be a story if there was no regard for the importance of the role" of the priest, he said. "We need to be mindful of the high standards that are expected of priesthood. That is, all priests should be exemplary in giving witness to the godly things in their life."
In a deposition provided to The New York Times, Willenborg said the Franciscan order never disciplined him or suggested he leave the priesthood, but he did receive other assignments not directly involving a parish.
Christensen said he spoke with Willenborg Saturday afternoon, and that Willenborg expressed remorse over the matter.
"He wanted me to say to you how sorry he is for his actions of the past," Christensen said. "He never wanted us, you, involved in this mess in his life, that he is so ashamed of. He also asks for your prayers, not for himself, but for Nathan."
It was a role reversal of sorts, as Willenborg has found himself asking for prayers from the parish, which expressed it in the hymn they sang Sunday, "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace": "Oh Master, grant that I may never seek so much to be consoled as to console..."
Ashland Mayor Ed Monroe, speaking as a parishioner of the church, said he understands why Christensen moved to suspend Willenborg because "you cannot treat these allegations and accusations lightly."
But Monroe also questioned why the story is even newsworthy, and that Willenborg "is one of the most loved priests we've ever had."
"I would echo what I've heard in the parish, that hopefully things will be resolved better than they are now, and we'll get Father Henry back," he said.

A group of abortion opponents has sued the city of Milwaukee and 21 police officers, contending they systematically violated the protesters' civil rights through harassment, intimidation and improper enforcement of ordinances.
The eight plaintiffs say they regularly pray, sing, hold signs, hand out pamphlets and engage in "non-threatening sidewalk counseling" in the vicinity of two east side clinics that perform abortions. The lawsuit states they are aware of and observe the restrictions imposed in a 1993 court injunction regarding abortion protests in Milwaukee.
The 32-page lawsuit cites several incidents in 2007, 2008 and 2009 in which one or more of the plaintiffs were confronted by police and either threatened, ticketed or arrested. In at least three cases, charges were ultimately dismissed, but without prejudice, meaning prosecutors could re-introduce the charges later. The lawsuit contends dismissing the charges without prejudice is another form of intimidation.
The plaintiffs "have been intimidated and impeded and chilled in the exercise of their free speech rights, and have at times been effectively driven out of the public forum," the suit contends. Six of the plaintiffs are from Milwaukee, two from Cedarburg.
In one instance, according to the suit, plaintiffs Alex and Ana Marie Doak were pushing their baby in a carriage and handing out pamphlets when seven police officers surrounded them and threatened to charge them with abuse and neglect of their child.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Milwaukee, seeks injunctions and a declaration that the city's snipe advertisement and disorderly conduct ordinances are unconstitutional. The plaintiffs' signs are clearly political or social and not subject to the ordinance, according to the suit. It also argues that the disorderly conduct charge is too vague because it doesn't define the several behaviors it prohibits.
The lawsuit also seeks to have records of the plaintiffs' tickets under those ordinances expunged, as well as damages and court costs, and to have Milwaukee police undergo more training about free speech demonstrations.
City Attorney Grant Langley said Tuesday he had not seen the lawsuit and could not comment.

British Bishop and Holocaust-denier Richard Williamson has been fined over remarks on Swedish television that fewer than 300,000 Jews died in Nazi death camps.
A German court in the Bavarian city of Regensburg on Monday commanded Williamson to pay €12,000.
Williamson said he believes that no more than 300,000 Jews died in Germany's Nazi concentration camps rather than the 6 million.
His German lawyer Matthias Lossmann said his client had been told to pay €100 a day for 120 days and that he was likely to appeal. If an appeal is lodged, there will be a trial in Regensburg, which Williamson will not be forced to attend.
Holocaust denial is classed as a hate crime in Germany and because the interview took place in Regensburg, German prosecutors were allowed to investigate, The Guardian reported.
In several other countries, including France and Austria, "Holocaust denial" is against the law, and "deniers" have been punished with prison sentences.
For no other historical massacre does such a law exist.
Unfortunately for them, these Jews will one day find out what the fine is for denial of Jesus Christ, the one and only God!

Aborted fetal material used in anti-wrinkle cream
(Tennessee) Children of God for Life announced today that Neocutis, a bio-pharmaceutical company focused on dermatology and skin care is using aborted fetal cell lines to produce several of their anti-aging skin creams.
“It is absolutely deplorable that Neocutis would resort to exploiting the remains of a deliberately slaughtered baby for nothing other than pure vanity and financial gain,, stated Executive Director Debi Vinnedge. “There is simply no moral justification for this.”
For years Children of God for Life has been a watchdog on pharmaceutical companies using aborted fetal cell lines in medical products and they have received thousands of inquiries from the public on the use of aborted fetal material in cosmetics.
Until now, this was the first time they have encountered any company bold enough to put the information right on their own website and product literature. A quick investigation into the science behind the products revealed the shameless data.
Neocutis’ key ingredient known as “Processed Skin Proteins” was developed at the University of Luasanne from the skin tissue of a 14-week gestation electively-aborted male baby donated by the University Hospital in Switzerland. Subsequently, a working cell bank was established, containing several billion cultured skin cells to produce the human growth factor needed to restore aging skin.
The list of products using the cell line include: Bio-Gel, Journee, Bio-Serum, Prevedem, Bio Restorative Skin Cream and Lumiere. But Vinnedge is calling for a full boycott of all Neocutis products, regardless of their source.
“There is absolutely no reason to use aborted babies for such selfish motives,” Vinnedge said. “It is anti-life, anti-woman and counter-productive as Neocutis is about to find out!”
Children of God for Life is calling on rival cosmetic companies to take advantage of some free advertising by their company.
“We know there are companies using moral sources for collagen and skin proteins. We intend to publicly promote these other cosmetic companies competing with Neocutis that are willing to step forward and contact us.”
Meanwhile Vinnedge advises women who are using Neocutis products to throw them in the garbage and to contact the company to express their concerns.
In addition she advised, “Contact some of these competing companies and ask them to verify their products are morally produced. If they are willing to commit to it in writing, they will get our endorsement.”

International Football - Priest performs exorcism at stadium
Eurosport - Fri, 23 Oct 12:59:00 2009
A Roman Catholic priest has taken extreme steps to improve his favourite football team's results, performing an exorcism at their stadium.
Belgian side Racing Genk have won only two of 11 games this season, and find themselves just one point above the relegation zone.
The Belgian Cup holders' poor run of form roused Don Angelo, and Italian clergyman of over 30 years, into action.
He performed an exorcism at the club's Cristal Arena in an attempt to "drive the devil out", pouring holy water onto the pitch.
Don Angelo said fans should not expect miracles, but hoped players could take to the field with less fear.
On the day of the exorcism, club president Harry Lemmens resigned.
The move has prompted a negative response from some church representatives, including Cardinal Godfried Danneels, the Archbishop of Brussels.
Cardinal Danneels said: "I imagine that some Catholics have got the wrong idea."

Cardinal George lauds appointment of N.Y. archbishop to Jewish Affairs post
Washington D.C., Oct 24, 2009 / 05:50 pm (CNA).-
Archbishop Dolan succeeds Archbishop emeritus of Baltimore William H. Keeler in the role.
His five-year appointment was announced in a Friday USCCB statement and will become effective Nov. 11.
Cardinal George’s announcement noted the New York Archdiocese’s “long history of cooperation and friendship between Catholics and Jews.”
“Since the Second Vatican Council, important strides in this relationship have been made through dialogue and collaboration in countering racism, anti-Semitism and other offenses against human dignity," the cardinal commented.
“Our Episcopal Conference, through the leadership of your predecessors in New York, and especially through the tireless and generous service of Cardinal William Keeler, has sought to contribute to the work of reconciliation between the Church and the Jewish people after centuries of mutual estrangement,” he added.
The cardinal said the Jewish community will find Archbishop Dolan to be “a friend who communicates the joy of his own faith, while at the same time conveying profound respect for the spiritual gifts of the other."
Controversy recently arose in Catholic-Jewish dialogue about a clarification the bishops issued concerning “ambiguities” in a Catholic document on the theology of the Christian mission to Jews. Jewish leaders voiced concerns that the changes formally characterized Catholic-Jewish dialogue as an explicit or implicit invitation to Jews to abandon their faith.
In response, the USCCB said that the controversial passages would be removed from the clarification.
On Oct. 2, the Conference issued a statement of principles for Catholic-Jewish dialogue which notes Catholics’ "sacred responsibility" to witness to Christ always. However, the statement also emphasizes that Jewish-Catholic dialogue will never be used as a means of "proselytism" nor is it intended to be a "disguised to baptism".

Saturday, October 24, 2009 by: Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews
(NaturalNews) According to the CDC, swine flu infections have already peaked, and the pandemic is on its way out. Peak infection time was the middle of October, where one in five U.S. children experienced the flu, says the CDC. Out of nearly 14,000 suspected flu cases tested during the week ending on October 10, 2009, 99.6% of those were influenza A, and the vast majority of those were confirmed as H1N1 swine flu infections. (http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/)
Even though the H1N1 pandemic appears to have peaked out, U.S. President Barack Obama has now declared a national emergency over swine flu infections. The reasoning behind such a declaration? According to the White House, it's designed to "allow hospitals to better handle the surge in patients" by allowing them to bypass certain federal laws.
Emergency powers trump the Bill of Rights
That's the public explanation for this, but the real agenda behind this declaration may be far more sinister. Declaring a national emergency immediately gives federal authorities dangerous new powers that can now be enforced at gunpoint, including:
• The power to force mandatory swine flu vaccinations on the entire population.
• The power to arrest, quarantine or "involuntarily transport" anyone who refuses a swine flu vaccination.
• The power to quarantine an entire city and halt all travel in or out of that city.
• The power to enter any home or office without a search warrant and order the destruction of any belongings or structures deemed to be a threat to public health.
• The effective nullification of the Bill of Rights. Your right to due process, to being safe from government search and seizure, and to remain silent to avoid self-incrimination are all null and void under a Presidential declaration of a national emergency.
None of this means that federal agents are going to march door to door arresting people at gunpoint if they refuse the vaccine, but they could if they wanted to. Your rights as an American are no longer recognized under this national emergency declaration.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Christ The King
25 October 2009
Christ is a King not of this world, but He must be a King in this world.
We tend to think of a kingdom as of the worldly kingdoms we have seen throughout history. But Christ did not intend to establish such a kingdom here on earth. The kingdom that Christ wished to establish here on earth is a kingdom which rules over our hearts, minds and wills.
This kingdom that Christ came to earth to establish is none other than the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church, though it is in this world is not of this world. This kingdom, the Roman Catholic Church, is designed by God to last forever. "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass way."
Christ is therefore the King of the Catholic Church. He is its head, He is its ruler. Though He established visible vicars, representatives of Himself, He still maintains that kingship — that highest post where He rules and governs.
The words, teaching, and ruling of Christ the King are not up for discussion or debate. They are not up for reinterpretation. They are given to us to be followed exactly as Christ has instructed us. The truths that God has spoken are eternally true they are immutable and unchangeable. Any attempt to negate or reinterpret His meaning is a treasonous act against Christ the King and is therefore blasphemous and damnable.
While in this world many may apparently escape punishment for such damnable treason and blasphemy, they most definitely will not escape in eternity.
How could so many for so long rebel against such a kind and gentle King? What does this King ask of us that is so hard and difficult? Are not all His commands and decrees most reasonable and just? Are they not for our own good and benefit? How could we be so foolish as to continue in such rebellion and disobedience? Why must we continually try to create a god to suit our own whims and fancies? Is it such a difficult thing to be honest and humble ourselves to God working always to conform ourselves to His will, rather than attempting to force God to conform to our own wills?
Let us learn not to consider this kingdom as other worldly kingdoms that come and go throughout history. But let us realize that this kingdom is here now and will last on into eternity forever.
The Israelites were rebuked for desiring a kingdom like the other nations around them had. God told them what a worldly king would demand from them and still they desired that rather than the rule of God over themselves. It was God Himself that they rejected it was not the judges or the prophets that He sent.
It is likewise today, the leaders of false sects and religions have rejected God and established themselves in His place. Meanwhile the true representatives of God are rejected by the majority just as Jesus was. In rejecting the true bishops, they reject the true Church, and therefore are rejecting Christ Himself.
May we ever hold to the unchanging truths and words Christ has given us and thus remain true and faithful in His kingdom here on earth, so that we may enter into His everlasting Kingdom in Heaven.

Good Idea... One light bulb at a time!
A physics teacher in high school, Mr. Wooley, once told his students that while one grasshopper on the railroad tracks wouldn't slow a train very much, a billion of them would. With that thought in mind, read the following, obviously written by a good American.
Check this out. I can verify this because I was in Lowes the other day for some reason and just for the heck of it I was looking at the hose attachments. They were all made in China. The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there. They were made in USA.
In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else - even their job. So, after reading this email, I think this lady is on the right track. Let's get behind her!
My grandson likes Hershey's candy. I noticed, though, that it is marked made in Mexico now. I do not buy it any more. My favorite toothpaste, Colgate, is made in Mexico now. I have switched to Crest. You have to read the labels on everything.
This past weekend I was at Kroger. I needed 60 W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets. I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off brand labeled, "Everyday Value." I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats - they were the same except for the price. The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in - get ready for this - the USA in a company in Cleveland, Ohio.
So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that are made right here.
So on to another aisle - Bounce Dryer Sheets . . . yep, you guessed it, Bounce cost more money and is made in Canada. The Everyday Value brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the price!
My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and> > see what you can find that is made in the USA - the job you save may be your own or your neighbors!
If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time! Stop buying from overseas companies! (We should have awakened a decade ago.)
Let's get with the program . . . . help our fellow Americans keep their jobs and create more jobs here in the USA.
I have not personally checked out all of the specifics of this email - but the point of it is valid - START TO BUY AMERICAN WHENEVER YOU CAN!

Just a week after it emerged that the German armed forces was getting a different kind of A/H1N1 vaccine to the general population, Der Spiegel magazine reports that the government will also get special treatment.
...The general population will be offered the GlaxoSmithKline vaccine, called Pandemrix, which contains a new booster element, or adjuvant, as well as a preservative containing mercury.
Controversy has grown around the rapid licensing of the GSK vaccine – and a similar one being made by Novartis. Critics said not enough testing had been conducted before European licensing authorities rushed an approval.
Chancellor Angela Merkel, her cabinet members and ministry civil servants as well as those working for other agencies will get Celvapan, produced by US firm Baxter, which does not have the adjuvant or the preservative, according to Der Spiegel...
White House Communications Director Anita Dunn told high school students in May 2009 that one of her favorite political philosophers was Mao Zedong, the Communist dictator responsible for the death of millions of people, and she explained why his philosophy was important for achieving personal and political goals. When questioned last week after a video of her speech surfaced, however, Dunn said she was using "irony" in reference to Mao. A leading expert on China told CNSNews.com that Dunn's remarks were "pathetic," given the human rights atrocities committed under Mao's reign.
The Late Great Helmsman
... During his career, Mao Tse-Tung was responsible for more deaths - murder, starvation, torture... the usual ways of dying, plus a few novelties added by Mao and his thugs - than any other man in history. Seventy million is the sum given by Chang and Halliday. Even the entire Mongol reign of Genghis Khan and his whole line - who conquered three civilizations... Muslim, Chinese, and Hindu...and threatened to conquer Christendom too ... didn't match Mao in killing people.
Are we on the verge of the predicted World Government?
On October 14, Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change skeptic, gave a presentation at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. In this 4 minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty, scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.
Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on a front-page news story in today’s New York Times on the problem of child sexual abuse:
Reporter Paul Vitello shows the shocking extent of child sexual abuse in Brooklyn’s Orthodox Jewish community. He also details the cover-ups that have long been aided and abetted by law enforcement.
Where have all the church-and-state advocates been all these years when Orthodox rabbis were allowed by the D.A.’s office to settle these cases “internally”? Where have all the professional victims’ groups been in staging protests outside synagogues? Where have all the sue-happy lawyers been seeking to plunder the Orthodox? Where have all the comedians and late-night entertainers been in cracking jokes about rabbis raping kids?
It’s not just Orthodox Jews who have been given a pass: no group has gotten away easier than public school employees. Consider this. Because public school students have only 90 days to file suit, it is already too late to prosecute a teacher—in virtually every state—who molested a minor as recently as last spring.
But if the offense took place in a Catholic school, the student has years to file suit. Not only that, molesting teachers are still shuffled from one school district to another; it’s called “passing the trash.”
Orthodox Jews try cases of child rape in rabbinical courts. Imagine if the Catholic Church failed to report abuse cases to the authorities and decided instead to institute its own ecclesial courts?
Today’s article quotes a Jewish attorney urging law enforcement to recognize “religious sensitivities” for the guilty by seeking alternatives to prison. Allow a Catholic attorney to advise the same and it’s called corruption.
Last year, 40 minors in this small Jewish community said they were abused. Last year, there were 10 such allegations in the entire Catholic Church in all 50 states. Catholics are fed up with the duplicity. It’s not just Roman Polanski who can rape and run with impunity these days.
The politics of child rape is sickening.
Josephine entered the convent of the Poor Clares at Valenciennes when she was 22 years old. In 1770 she made her vows. Then the French Revolution broke out, and the religious were rudely driven from their convents. Josephine at first returned to her family. But when Valenciennes was captured by the Austrians, Josephine could not resist the impulse to return to the enclosure. However, the convent of the Poor Clares at Valenciennes had not yet been rebuilt, and she took refuge in the convent of the Ursulines, where her own sister lived.
But the victorious revolutionary army retook the city, and Josephine was placed under arrest as having been disloyal to her country. Without being in any way perturbed, she confronted the band of soldiers who came to arrest her and she said, "It was hardly necessary to make so much ado for the purpose of taking a weak woman captive!" Then, having served her captors with refreshments, she followed them to prison.
Because she had resumed the life of a religious contrary to the laws, Josephine was condemned to death. With holy serenity and perfect resignation to God's holy will she accepted the death sentence and prepared for it by receiving the Bread of Heaven for her journey to the Divine Bridegroom. With a cheerful countenance she went out to the place of execution, singing sacred hymns along the way. She declared herself truly fortunate at being deemed worthy to give her life for the Catholic Faith. "Could anyone fear to leave this place of exile," she said, "when he reflects on the beauty of Paradise?"
At the scaffold she gratefully kissed the hand of the executioner, and in a clear voice forgave everybody. Then she placed her head on the block. Her sister, Mary Scholastic, and four other companions died a martyr's death with her. This occurred on October 23, 1794. Pope Benedict XV enrolled her among the blessed.
ON THE TEST OF LOVE
1. The test of love is sacrifice. Christ met the test in the sacrifice of the Cross, and He demands of those who love Him that they prove their love by the test of the cross. Blessed Josephine knew this and desired to show her loyalty to her Lord. So, after being forced to leave her convent by the evil authorities, she returned to the enclosure of a convent despite the risk it involved. She was arrested and willingly made the sacrifice of her life for the love of Christ. -- Are we as ready and as courageous in showing our love for Christ?
2. We can and must make sacrifices in this life. There are thousands of opportunities offered for making small sacrifices for which we need no permission. Let us make them with love and generosity, for it is love that gives value to sacrifice. Each time we deprive ourselves of anything for Jesus' sake, we are thinking of Him and loving Him. -- Does He not deserve that much from us?
3. One of the noblest acts of sacrifice is the conquest of self-love. Our Lord builds His sanctuary on the ruins of self-love. "He must increase, but I must decrease" (John 3:30). But to decrease is not enough in this matter. Self must disappear, so that we can say: "I live, now not I, but Christ lives in me" (Gal 2:20). The secret of sanctity consists in loving much, but this love presupposes interior and daily warfare. Let us be generous, let us be valiant, so that, like Blessed Josephine, we may in the end also be victorious by passing the test of love.
PRAYER OF THE CHURCH
Pour into our hearts, Lord Jesus, fear and love for Thee, so that through the merits and example of the holy virgin Josephine, we may rather choose death than ever consent to offend Thee. Who livest and reignest forever and ever. Amen.

Karl Marx, who famously described religion as “the opium of the people”, has joined Galileo, Charles Darwin and Oscar Wilde on a growing list of historical figures to have undergone an unlikely reappraisal by the Roman Catholic Church.
L’Osservatore Romano, the Vatican newspaper, said yesterday that Marx’s early critiques of capitalism had highlighted the “social alienation” felt by the “large part of humanity” that remained excluded, even now, from economic and political decision-making...
...With reassessments such as these it may be wondered which formerly unacceptable figure could be next. Last year the Vatican erected a statue of Galileo as a way of saying sorry for trying the astronomer in 1633 for his observation that the Earth moved around the Sun; in February a leading official declared Darwin’s theory of evolution compatible with the Christian faith, and in July L’Osservatore praised Oscar Wilde, the gay playwright, as “a man who behind a mask of amorality asked himself what was just and what was mistaken”...
...Marx, who predicted that capitalism would be destroyed by its internal contradictions and be replaced by communism after a transitional period, was born in 1818 in Trier in Germany to Jewish parents. Although it was a majority Catholic town, his father, Heinrich, converted to Lutheran Protestantism to escape anti-Semitism.
Marx was baptised as a Christianbut he remained an atheist all his life. He once observed that “religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.”
Marx was expelled from several European countries for his radical espousal of a working-class revolution. He moved to London in May 1849 and lived there until his death in 1883.
Professor Sans’s article was first published in La Civiltà Cattolica, a Jesuit paper, which is vetted in advance by the Vatican Secretariat of State. The decision to republish it in the Vatican newspaper gives it added papal endorsement.
You just can't make this stuff up! Yet the Novus Ordo people keep going - maybe that bogus religion is truly the "opium of the people".

...In my view, an assimilated Jew is a type of gentile. Perhaps even worse.
But they are not racists - they are the victims of racism - btw - I have some ocean front property for sale in Arizona!
