Murder charge dropped in Iraqi detainee killing

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jtMiie7GiHIHOXRX4zAw_wX09qYwD9B14TP80

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. — The government has dropped a murder charge against a Marine who pleaded guilty Tuesday to dereliction of duty for killing an unarmed Iraqi detainee during a battle to recapture the city of Fallujah.

If convicted of murder, Sgt. Jermaine Nelson could have faced a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Instead, he now faces a maximum sentence of one year in prison and a dishonorable discharge.
Defense attorney Joseph Low told reporters the plea agreement says Nelson will not serve any prison time and will be honorably discharged...

...Nelson, of New York, admitted that he wrongly killed the unarmed detainee, one of four Iraqi men who surrendered when his squad entered a home in November 2004. He said he fired anyway on orders from his squad leader, former Sgt. Jose Luis Nazario.

"I knew it was wrong, I knew it was unlawful," Nelson told the judge. "I didn't want to go against what Sgt. Nazario told me to do."...

...Nazario, Nelson's squad leader, was acquitted last year in federal court in Riverside, Calif., on counts that included voluntary manslaughter. Nazario was beyond the reach of a court-martial because he had completed his military obligations...

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle, be thou our safeguard against the malice and snares of the Devil. Rebuke him, O God, we humbly beseech Thee; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! (three times)
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God , rest in peace. Amen

Where in the World is Hitler's Skull?
Monday, September 28, 2009

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,556343,00.html?test=latestnews

A skull long believed to be that of Adolf Hitler actually belonged to a woman, according to an American scientist who has taken DNA samples from it.

The skull was taken by Soviet forces in 1945 when they found charred remains outside the Nazi dictator's bunker in Berlin.

The Russians said at the time that the findings backed claims that Hitler had shot himself on April 30, 1945, and then been cremated along with his wife, Eva Braun.

Now, however, archaeologist and bone specialist Nick Bellantoni says the skull really belonged to a woman aged under 40 and not Hitler - who was 56 when he died.

Neither does Mr Bellantoni believe the skull belongs to Braun, Hitler's long-time girlfriend and last-minute wife, who is thought to have killed herself by taking cyanide and would therefore not have had a bullet wound - as this skull has.

The Russians say they have never claimed the skull itself was the chief reason for their belief the skull was Hitler's.

Instead, they point to dental records as confirmation that Hitler killed himself.

Remember - Communist Russia is and was a Jewish creation!

When we say that Mary is the Mother of God, we speak of a dignity that is above every other dignity that can be named, or thought of, after that of God. Nothing equals Mary, for all is either above her, and this is God, or beneath her, and this is all that is not God.

Cash-strapped Britons are resorting to selling their kidneys to pay their mortgages and clear their debts.

The would-be 'donors', who include a nurse and a taxi driver, are charging up to £60,000 plus expenses, an investigation found.

They risk up to three years in jail if caught but say the potentially dangerous operation is their only option for getting back in the black...

Israeli vigilantes target young Arab-Jewish couples

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article6851624.ece

It’s past 10pm, but work has just begun for the group of vigilantes in a small white hatchback patrolling the streets of Pisgat Ze’ev — a Jewish settlement on the outskirts of east Jerusalem.

As the car crawls through the nearly empty streets, the men peer out at couples. They say they are experts at spotting those that don’t “match”.

“Stop, right there. Stop the car. Is he an Arab? That dark guy . . . If they are both Jewish, keep the car moving!” yells out ‘David’, a 31-year-old Jewish settler who does not use his real name.

For more than a decade, David has considered it his unofficial job to patrol the streets looking for mixed Arab-Jewish couples. “We are protecting the Jewish people, our traditions, our heritage. Some people just get mixed up. We talk to them, explain why it’s important for Jews to be with Jews,” he said.

His group, which works with police, goes by several names, including Fire for Judaism, is composed of up to 45 men and funded by private donations. Members say they are fighting a “growing epidemic” of Arab-Jewish dating and spend as many hours as they can on patrol.

Similar groups have formed across the country, including in the southern Negev city of Beersheba, and northern port of Haifa. In Petah Tikva, a blue-collar city in the centre of Israel, the municipality has formed a unit to discourage Arab-Jewish relationships.

In Pisgat Ze’ev, the growing number of Arab-Jewish couples is seen as the result of more Jewish settlements in Arab east Jerusalem.

“The problem is always with Jewish girls dating Arab men. The Arab guy comes and buys them things, treats them well. They fall for it. They can’t see what they are doing,” says David.

Sarah, who asked not to use her real name, said it is men like David who are the problem, not her Arab boyfriend, Zadar. “I’m not stupid, or gullible or looking for trouble. I’m a Jewish girl who happened to meet a guy I like, who happens to be Arab. It’s my business. We have to go other places to go on dates, places where these guys won’t find us,” she said.

In Petah Tikva, municipal workers said they only sought out under-age Arab-Jewish couples when asked to intervene by parents. “This is not a racist thing. Statistically, these girls wind up in trouble. We try to step in before real harm can be done by talking to the teens, making social workers available to them. We never use force,” a spokesman said.

David says that he too, will not use force but on a recent night out, it became clear that he was prepared to do just about anything else. At the start of his patrol he caught sight of a “known problem couple”. It was a young woman, stepping into a vehicle that he said was full of Arab men.

A car chase ensued through the windy mountain roads before the vehicle got away. David took down a licence plate number and called in the incident to the police. “I am doing this for her own good. She doesn’t know what she is getting into. It’s not like these guys are offering her a future.”

If this were taking place in the US deep South, and someone was trying to stop people from dating each other on the basis of their ethnicity or religion, we'd call this for what it truly is; ugly, naked racism of the highest order.

But of course, one cannot say that of Israelis doing precisely the same thing, for fear of being labeled "anti-Semitic".

Welcome to Amerika!

Be sure to watch it all the way through - when the jackbooted thugs - aka police officers start pounding their clubs on their shields as they march slowly toward what is clearly a peaceful assembly!

Agreement on Justification Marks 10 Years
WASHINGTON, D.C., SEPT. 23, 2009 (Zenit.org).- An evening prayer service will mark the 10th anniversary of the landmark agreement on the doctrine of justification signed by Catholics and Lutherans, and later approved by Methodists.

Cardinal Francis George, president of the U.S. episcopal conference, and Lutheran Bishop Mark Hanson will lead the Oct. 1 prayer service in Chicago. The agreement was signed Oct. 31, 1999, by the Vatican and the Lutheran World Federation. Methodists joined the agreement in 2006.
"This is an historic moment on the journey toward Christian unity," said Father James Massa, executive director for the bishops' Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs. "The Joint Declaration expressed a common understanding of how human beings are made right with God through the life-giving death of Jesus Christ."

The declaration was the fruit of some 35 years of Lutheran-Catholic dialogue since the issue of justification was one of the first points of controversy raised by Martin Luther.
The joint declaration, while it does not clarify every point of discord between Catholic and Protestant understandings (merit and indulgences are not addressed, for example), expresses a joint confession: "By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping and calling us to good works."

The president of the Vatican's council for promoting Christian unity, Cardinal Walter Kasper, has expressed the hope that the declaration will lead to more prayer in common.
"May it encourage us," he said, "to continue our theological dialogue, and building on our common foundations, may it lead to an increase in joint witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

Archeologists find 'Joseph-era' coins in Egypt

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1253820674074&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

Archeologists have discovered ancient Egyptian coins bearing the name and image of the biblical Joseph, Cairo's Al Ahram newspaper recently reported. Excerpts provided by MEMRI show that the coins were discovered among a multitude of unsorted artifacts stored at the Museum of Egypt.

According to the report, the significance of the find is that archeologists have found scientific evidence countering the claim held by some historians that coins were not used for trade in ancient Egypt, and that this was done through barter instead.

The period in which Joseph was regarded to have lived in Egypt matches the minting of the coins in the cache, researchers said.

"A thorough examination revealed that the coins bore the year in which they were minted and their value, or effigies of the pharaohs [who ruled] at the time of their minting. Some of the coins are from the time when Joseph lived in Egypt, and bear his name and portrait," said the report.

The discovery of the cache prompted research team head Dr. Sa'id Muhammad Thabet to seek Koranic verses that speak of coins used in ancient Egypt.

"Studies by Dr. Thabet's team have revealed that what most archeologists took for a kind of charm, and others took for an ornament or adornment, is actually a coin. Several [facts led them to this conclusion]: first, [the fact that] many such coins have been found at various [archeological sites], and also [the fact that] they are round or oval in shape, and have two faces: one with an inscription, called the inscribed face, and one with an image, called the engraved face - just like the coins we use today," the report added.

More confirmation of the Biblical account of history!

Holocaust denial as far back as 1951?

The following are scanned pages from a book published in 1951. The first two scans are the pages of importance - note that "Israel" is in quotes - likely because it is such a new "nation" that no one was certain it would last and also it was not recognized by the world as yet. Note how the author realizes that the 6 million number is so absurd that he felt the need to stress to the reader that he himself heard this number used in an Israeli radio broadcast. You see - in 1951 most people would have immediately realized how absurd this claim was.

Click on the images if they are too small to read.

below are pages about the author, people who endorsed the book, and the cover and copyright infomation.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost
27 September 2009

Dear Friend,

Our Lord asks the Pharisees, "What think you of Christ?" This is a very important question that has been a stumbling block since the beginning of creation.

What was it that compelled the fallen angels to compare themselves to God so that St. Michael would be forced to hurl the rebuke upon them: "Who is like unto God?" It has been suggested that it was revealed to them that the Second Person of the Trinity would become Man and in this state they would be required to worship Him. This was the stumbling block to their pride and forced from their lips the rebellion: "I will not serve." So we see right from the beginning creation has sought to deny Christ.

When Christ did finally come to earth the earthly king (Herod) feared a worldly king rather than a Divine One. Even in this they failed to understand who Christ is. After Christ had fasted for forty days in the desert we see the devils tempting Him, trying to force Him to reveal Himself. It seems that the Person of Christ is still rejected by the devils even after all that time suffering in Hell.

We only find St. Peter coming up with the correct answer to this question when he replies to Christ: "You are the Christ of God." And the Church has ever maintained the correct understanding of Christ and God.

But the devils and fallen men continued to question and doubt because their pride is a stumbling block to the simple and humble belief in God. In the early days of the Church we see many heresies concerning the Person of Christ.

The first it seems to deny the divinity of Christ was Theodotus the leather-dealer. He was excommunicated by Pope St. Victor in the last decade of the second century for declaring that Christ was a mere man. Arius appears to have fallen into these same footsteps when he claimed that the Son must come after and from the Father and therefore must be a creature. The Nestorians claimed that Jesus was a man that became God by degrees. And the Monophysites as a kind of counter action to the other heresies attempted to deny the fact that Christ had a human nature. They wanted to present Him only as God and never with a human nature.
The Protestants rose up still stumbling over this same question. Only now they question Christ's presence in the Sacramental Species. Zwingle presented Christ as merely signified in the Host; Luther wanted Christ to be present side by side with the bread; Calvin wanted a "spiritual" presence only at the moment the faithful receives the host. All these are attempts to deny transubstantiation, and therefore Christ.

In our own times we see the resurfacing of the lies and distortions of creatures stumbling still over this question. The Novus Ordo attempts a somewhat more subtle denial of Christ through the indirect teaching as revealed in their practices. Christ's presence was removed from the tabernacle on the main altar to a side altar or removed completely. In one place the tabernacle was placed side by side with the bible on the altar symbolically showing equivalence between the two; thus denying Christ's real and true presence in the Sacred Species. They changed the understanding and meaning of the Mass from the unbloody renewal of the sacrifice of Calvary, to a celebration of Christ's resurrection and glory; from an offering to God into a community meal. The altar was replaced by a table; sacrifice with a meal; suffering and death with resurrection and life. The Host is no longer sacred and is placed in unconsecrated hands and places, and is no longer shown the respect and honor that belong to the Son of God hidden in the Sacred Species.

All of these things are ultimately a denial of God; an attack upon Christ. In all these matters creatures have failed to see the humbling simple and beautiful fact that Christ is the Son of God; The second Person of the Blessed Trinity; That He is God made Man. He is One Person with two natures: God and Man. He is truly present in the Holy Eucharist, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity: True God and True Man; and all that remains of the bread and wine are the appearances. The substances have become the substance of Christ, made present to offer Himself in sacrifice for us — continuing the same sacrifice as upon Calvary.

We now know the answer to the question that has throughout all time been a stumbling block to us; let us pray to God that we never lose site of this truth, and never be struck with the blindness of the devils; the Pharisees; and the heretics both old and new.

The 9/11 Commission Rejects own Report as Based on Government Lies

Gordon Duff Salem-News.com

(CINCINNATI, Ohio) - In John Farmer’s book: “The Ground Truth: The Story Behind America’s Defense on 9/11″, the author builds the inescapably convincing case that the official version... is almost entirely untrue...

The 9/11 Commission now tells us that the official version of 9/11 was based on false testimony and documents and is almost entirely untrue. The details of this massive cover-up are carefully outlined in a book by John Farmer, who was the Senior Counsel for the 9/11 Commission.

Farmer, Dean of Rutger Universities' School of Law and former Attorney General of New Jersey, was responsible for drafting the original flawed 9/11 report.

Does Farmer have cooperation and agreement from other members of the Commission? Yes. Did they say Bush ordered 9/11? No. Do they say that the 9/11 Commission was lied to by the FBI, CIA, Whitehouse and NORAD? Yes. Is there full documentary proof of this? Yes.

Farmer states...“at some level of the government, at some point in time…there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened... I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described …. The [Norad air defense] tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years. This is not spin.”

The 9/11 Commission head, Thomas Kean, was the Republican governor of New Jersey. He had the following to say... “We to this day don’t know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us, it was just so far from the truth. . . " When Bush's own handpicked commission failed to go along with the cover up and requested a criminal investigation, why was nothing done?

9/11 Commission member and former US Senator, Bob Kerrey, says, "No one is more qualified to write the definitive book about the tragedy of 9/11 than John Farmer. Fortunately, he has done so. Even more fortunately the language is clear, alive and instructive for anyone who wants to make certain this never happens again."

With the only "official" 9/11 report now totally false, where do we go from here? Who is hurt by these lies? The families of the victims of 9/11 have fought, for years, to get to the truth. For years, our government has hidden behind lies and secrecy to deny them closure...

3000 innocent Americans died and we are still being lied too - agents of the government admit that they lied to us and are still not telling us the truth - but we are "conspiracy nuts" - WAKE UP - 3000 people were brutally murdered and no one seems to care!

Proof of how the media lies to us - from CNN's 1991 reporting on the Gulf War - make sure you watch it till the end when it is exposed as a studio.

More bogus "Christianity"...

http://www.christianpost.com/article/20090922/pc-usa-panel-reaches-no-agreement-on-gay-relationships/index.html

Presbyterians have come to a similar conclusion as Lutherans recently did about same-gender relationships: they cannot agree.
US Conference of "Catholic" Bishops says that trying to convert heretics to the Church is "not allowed"!

Apathy and Proselytism are Opposed to Unity. We live in a privileged time. The animosities that brought about a divided Christianity are no longer present. Yet we cannot sit back and do nothing. Likewise, proselytism, or the deliberate targeting of another Christian or group of Christians for the sole purpose of getting them to reject their church to join another, is not allowed. Some people may feel called in conscience to change from one tradition to another, but “sheep stealing” is unacceptable.

"Catholic" University Nets 88 Anti-abortion Demonstrators
Urges Court to Imprison Traditional Catholic Priests and Laymen for a Year

Newchurch Notre Dame University of South Bend, Indiana, has been caught in anti-Catholic activity again. Presbyter William Jenkins, its president, is pressing for one-year jail terms for anti-abortion traditional Catholic priests and laymen for demonstrating against the appearance of pro-abortion Barack Obama at its May 2009 graduation exercises. The traditional priests walked, together-with anti-abortion laymen, onto the Notre Dame campus with signs opposing abortion, and presbyter Jenkins had them arrested for trespassing. Jenkins has refused to drop the charges.

The message has been getting out that Notre Dame has become anti-Catholic. It has on several occasions allowed pornographic plays to be produced on campus, it has supported "gay-lesbian" conferences on campus, and most recently it invited the U.S.'s leading pro-abortion advocate, Barack Obama, to speak from the university's "pulpit" at graduation. Alumni have organized to cut off donations to the university and have called for Jenkins's ouster.

Of course, we traditional Catholics know that Jenkins is merely representative of Newchurch anti-Catholic sentiment that goes all the totem pole to Newrome and its "Unholy Father" himself.

The bogus ordo says everyone goes to heaven. Here is what the true church says:

Fr. Martin Von Cochem (1900): “It has now been made clear that the damned will one day be cast, body and soul, into the huge and awful furnace of hell, into the immense lake of fire, where they will be surrounded by flames. There will be fire below them, fire above them, fire round about them. Every breath will be the scorching breath of a furnace. These infernal flames will penetrate every portion of the body, so that there will be no part or member, within or without, that is not steeped in fire.” (The Four Last Things., p. 120)

SIGNS OF EVIL:

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost
20 September 2009

Dear Friend,

Everyone that humbles himself shall be exalted and he that exalts himself shall be humbled.

Christ Himself, exemplifies this. God in the highest; the Creator of all things, has descended from the heights, honor and glory that are His to take upon Himself the flesh of His creation and to become one with us. And not just any one of us, but He has taken upon Himself the lowliest position among the poor; the workers; and manual laborers. He humbled Himself beyond measure, and as a reward for this He is exalted above all.

St. Francis of Assisi likewise understood these words of Christ and sought to implement them in every way he could into his life. He humbled himself as completely as he could. St. Francis sought in every way to be like Christ, but especially in His humility and love. As a reward for this humility on earth we see that St. Francis is honored among the highest of Saints in Heaven. It has even been said that he now holds the place that was abandoned by Lucifer the former light bearer and leader of the Seraphim.

As we consider Lucifer and all the fallen angels, we see that they exalted themselves. They considered themselves "like unto God", and as a punishment were driven from their high honor and glory to the depths of degradation and suffering in Hell. They were utterly humiliated.

All the saints and all the religious orders in the Church exemplify this humility, but St. Francis is the one who seems to have most closely conformed himself in this matter to Christ. He has been given the title of "Mirror of Christ" because he so closely and clearly reflected this virtue of humility. Likewise his order, the order of St. Francis of Assisi, has been given the title of the Seraphic Order. All who wish to become a saint (which we are all called to do) will benefit from following St. Francis. In following St. Francis we are therefore following Christ and in this journey we must learn true humility.

Humility is not a denial of the truth. Many are confused into thinking that to be humble they must deny the very talents and abilities that they do have; that they must put on the appearance of lowliness. And in their superficial attempts at humility they develop a false humility that is hypocritical and Pharisaical.

A superior is not being humble when he allows his subordinates to abuse the authority that God has given him. This is a false humility. A parent is not being humble by allowing his child to insult or abuse him. The parent or superior may deserve this abuse, but the office or position that he has been given by God does not. He has been given this position and in this capacity he reflects the authority of God. To abuse the superior or parent is to abuse the authority of God. And this, the superior or parent has an obligation to correct and prevent. Not for his own honor and glory but for the honor and glory of God, and the salvation of his subjects or children. So to fail in our obligations to God out of weakness or laziness is not humility or virtue, but is actually a vice. And this we call false humility.

We are truly humble when we honestly look upon ourselves: what we are and what God wants us to be. We must strive to see ourselves truly or as God sees us. When we realize how far away we are from the ideal we begin to understand the virtue of humility. We see our own nothingness in the fact that all that we have and all that we are has been given to us by God. Everything is a grace from God, and without Him we are nothing or worse than nothing.
We are incapable of doing the least good without the grace of God. We look upon God who is infinitely good, and we look upon ourselves who are filled with evil and emptiness. We are filled with the nothingness from which we came. As this truth sinks into our hearts and minds we become humble. And in this humility we seek the lowliest or last place which we know ourselves to truly deserve. And thus, we become like Christ and St. Francis.

When God sees this virtue in our souls, He will begin to fill up this emptiness and void in our lives with Himself. And we will gradually be called to go up higher. Our ultimate goal is to one day be filled with the virtues of God to such an extent that when God looks into our soul, He will see His virtues and good works (His own reflection) and will call us to go up to the wonderful heights of Heaven.

St. Joseph of Cupertino, Franciscan priest (1603-1663)...
Joseph Desa was born in the little city of Cupertino, near the Gulf of Tarento, in 1600. It is said in the acts of the process of his canonization that at the age of five he already showed such signs of sanctity that if he had been an adult, he would have been venerated as a perfect man. Already in his youth he was ravished in ecstasies which literally tore him away from the earth; it has been calculated that perhaps half of his life for some sixty years was spent literally above the ground. But much remains to be said of Saint Joseph, apart from his visible divine favors.

He almost died at the age of seven from an interior abscess, which only his prayer to Our Lady cured. He learned to be a shoemaker to earn his living, but was often absent in spirit from his work. He treated his flesh with singular rigor.

The Cardinal de Lauria, who knew him well for long years, said he wore a very rude hair shirt and never ate meat, contenting himself with fruits and bread. He seasoned his soup, if he accepted any, with a dry and very bitter powder of wormwood.

At the age of seventeen he desired to become a conventual Franciscan, but was refused because he had not studied. He entered the Capuchins as a lay brother, but the divine favors he received seemed everywhere to bring down contempt upon him. He was in continuous contemplation and dropped plates and cauldrons. He would often stop and kneel down, and his long halts in places of discomfort brought on a tumor of the knee which was very painful. It was decided that he lacked both aptitude and health, and he was sent home. He was then regarded everywhere as a vagabond and a fool, and his mother in particular was harsh, as had been her custom for long years. She did, however, obtain permission for him to take charge of the stable for the conventual Franciscans, wearing the habit of the Third Order.

Saint Joseph proved himself many times to be perfectly obedient. His humility was heroic, and his mortification most exceptional. His words bore fruit and wakened the indifferent, warned against vice and in general were seen to come from a man who was very kind and very virtuous. He was finally granted the habit. He read with difficulty and wrote with still more difficulty, but the Mother of God was watching over him. When by the intervention of the bishop he had been admitted to minor Orders, he desired to be a priest but knew well only one text of the Gospel. By a special Providence of God, that was the text he was asked to expound during the canonical examination for the diaconate. The bishop who was in charge of hearing candidates for the priesthood found that the first ones answered exceptionally well, and he decided to ordain them all without any further hearings, thus passing Joseph with the others. He was ordained in 1628.

He retired to a hermitage where he was apparently in nearly continuous ecstasy, or at least contemplation. He kept nothing for himself save the tunic he wore.

Rejoicing to be totally poor, he felt entirely free also.

He obeyed his Superiors and went wherever he was sent, wearing sandals and an old tunic which often came back with pieces missing; the people had begun to venerate him as a Saint, and had cut them off. When he did not notice what was happening, he was reproached as failing in poverty. The humble Brother wanted to pass for a sinner; he asked for the lowest employments, and transported the building materials for a church on his shoulders. He begged for the community. At the church he was a priest; elsewhere, a poor Brother.

Toward the end of his life all divine consolations were denied the Saint, including his ecstasies. He fell victim to an aridity which was unceasing, and he could find no savor in any holy reading. Then the infernal spirits inspired terrible visions and dreams. He shed tears amid this darkness and prayed his Saviour to help him, but received no answer. When the General of the Order heard of this, he called him to Rome, and there he recovered from the fearful trial, and all his joy returned.

He still had combats with the enemy of God to bear just the same, when the demons took human form to attempt to injure him physically. Other afflictions were not spared him, but his soul overcame all barriers between himself and God.

He died on September 18, 1663, at the age of 63, in the Franciscan convent of Osino. He had celebrated Holy Mass up to and including the day before his death, as he had foretold he would do.

“The word ‘Rosary’ means ‘Crown of Roses,’ that is to say that every time people say the Rosary devoutly they place a crown of one hundred and fifty-three white roses and sixteen red roses upon the heads of Jesus and Mary.” (The Secret of the Rosary, p. 26.)

Apollo Moon Rocks Lost In Space? No, Lost On Earth
Global Puzzle: Some Apollo Moon Rocks Are Lost, Perhaps Not All By Mistake

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/09/14/ap/europe/main5308453.shtml

(AP) Attention, countries of the world: Do you know where your moon rocks are?

The discovery of a fake moon rock in the Netherlands' national museum should be a wake-up call for more than 130 countries that received gifts of lunar rubble from both the Apollo 11 flight in 1969 and Apollo 17 three years later.

Nearly 270 rocks scooped up by U.S. astronauts were given to foreign countries by the Nixon administration. But according to experts and research by The Associated Press, the whereabouts of some of the small rocks are unknown.

"There is no doubt in my mind that many moon rocks are lost or stolen and now sitting in private collections," said Joseph Gutheinz, a University of Arizona instructor and former U.S. government investigator who has made a project of tracking down the lunar treasures.

The Rijksmuseum, more noted as a repository for 17th century Dutch paintings, announced last month it had had its plum-sized "moon" rock tested, only to discover it was a piece of petrified wood, possibly from Arizona. The museum said it inherited the rock from the estate of a former prime minister.

The real Dutch moon rocks are in a natural history museum. But the misidentification raised questions about how well countries have safeguarded their presents from Washington.Genuine moon rocks, while worthless in mineral terms, can fetch six-figure sums from black-market collectors.

Of 135 rocks from the Apollo 17 mission given away to nations or their leaders, only about 25 have been located by CollectSpace.com, a Web site for space history buffs that has long attempted to compile a list.

That should not be taken to mean the others are lost _ just that the records kept at the time are far from complete.

The AP reviewed declassified correspondence between the State Department and U.S. embassies in 1973 and was able to locate ten additional Apollo 17 rocks _ in Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Barbados, France, Poland, Norway, Costa Rica, Egypt and Nepal.

But the correspondence yielded a meager 30 leads, such as the name of the person who received them or the museum where they were to be initially displayed. Ecuador and Cyprus are among several that said they had never heard of the rocks. Five were handed to African dictators long since dead or deposed.

The outlook for tracking the estimated 134 Apollo 11 rocks is even bleaker. The locations of fewer than a dozen are known."NASA turned over the samples to the State Department to distribute," said Jennifer Ross-Nazzal, a NASA historian, in an e-mailed response to questions.

"We don't have any records about when and to whom the rocks were given.""The Office of the Historian does not keep records of what became of the moon rocks, and to my knowledge, there is no one entity that does so," e-mailed Tiffany Hamelin, the State Department historian.

That may seem surprising now, but in the early 1970s, few expected Apollo 17 would be the last mission to the moon. With the passage of time, the rocks' value has skyrocketed...

Think about some of these statements. Almost all of the rocks from the first mission were given away - how did they know that there would ever be another successful mission? Does it make sense that they would give away what would amount to the only objects of their kind to be ever obtained or studied on earth?

I need to vent.........

Yesterday, I attended the wedding of one of my godchildren. Let me preface this by saying that since I've been out of the bogus ordo since 1975, I have had very little contact with the goings on in that false church. So every time I do have a little contact with them, I am literally shocked by what I see. My blood pressure must have been through the roof by the time I left this barn that they call a "church" yesterday and I promised myself that I'm NEVER going to another one no matter who it is.

It began with the phony "priest" processing up the aisle (before the wedding party) with a microphone hooked to his ear welcoming everyone to "St. Joe's" and the wedding. Then the father of the groom walked him down the aisle and the rest of the very inappropriately dressed women and men in the wedding party came down and finally the bride - dressed in WHITE even though she's been living with him for years. I was told by my children that brides nowadays can wear WHATEVER color they want and white no longer signifies purity. That's old fashioned. I suppose it is also old fashioned to wear clothing as a good third of her dress was missing!

I sat back and watched this blasphemy and heresy unfold. Women reading "readings" (no longer called the Epistle or Gospel), weird music (my youngest daughter had a laughing fit complete with tears running down her face when one song was sung by a decidedly gay looking creature), the "gifts" being walked down the aisle (a jug of water and wine that was enough for the entire church!), the bogus "consecration" in which the words of Our Lord were changed to meet their new "faith community" - you know, for ALL instead of MANY, the hugs and kisses and laughter that were showered on each other during the "sign of peace" (enough to make you gag), the so-called "communion" where the most immodestly dressed women you ever saw paraded up to the false "presbyter" and received what THEY perceived to be Our Lord in their hand followed by my niece handing a large cup of wine (which was supposed to be Our Lord's precious Blood but wasn't) all the while LAUGHING and talking with each person that came up to her! When I asked my daughter if she was a "Eucharistic minister" she told me that I shouldn't be so judgemental and maybe I shouldn't have come.

Maybe I shouldn't have......

I just sat there and realized in that one moment in time that there is no turning back - this is the best that it's going to be and they really are lost.

IT WAS SO SAD AND HORRIBLE! I COULD JUST CRY FOR THESE POOR LOST SOULS!

Faithful Catholics, please take time today to THANK GOD for what we have - the true faith and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Even if you don't have access to the Mass on a regular basis, please, please thank God for His gift of faith to you! We have a treasure that is far beyond anything this world can offer and I feel so blessed to have been given this gift!

Next, please pray and do as much penance as you can possibly handle for these people to have the scales lifted from their eyes. This fight is against Satan and his evil minions, not against these poor deluded souls.

God bless all of you!

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost
13 September 2009

Dear Friend,

In today's epistle St. Paul exhorts us to be forgiving and compassionate to those who may have fallen. "Brethren, and if a man be overtaken in any fault, you, who are spiritual, instruct such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted." We often hear this same thought paraphrased today in the words: "There but for the grace of God go I."

When we consider ourselves we will find that we have no room to judge another. Another popular phrase has been: "sweep the dirt from in front of your own door first." We are best off not comparing ourselves with our neighbors. When we do attempt to compare ourselves with one another we are too prone to pride and vain-glory. We blind ourselves to our own faults and failings, while we become keen observers of those of others.

Superiors of course must observe and watch over their subjects, but only from a motive of charity. History and experience has taught that superiors that are harsh with their subjects over their faults often succumb to the same faults themselves. God allows this to teach them to be more compassionate in their dealings with their subjects.

St. Paul is offering us a most profound instruction today by telling us to instruct in the spirit of meekness _ always reflecting that we also may be tempted. What sin has any man committed that we ourselves are immune to? If we were tempted as they were tempted, would we ourselves have resisted? Or perhaps we would have been even weaker than they and have fallen even farther than they have.

Thus St. Paul admonishes us to: "let every one prove his own work, and so he shall have glory in himself only, and not in another". Let us look in the mirror of our soul and see who we truly are. Who are we? What are we? What have we done? What have we not done? Who and what should we be? What should we have done and what should we have not done?

It is best for us not to compare ourselves with our neighbor lest we fall into the temptations of pride and vanity. But, if we must make a comparison of ourselves with others let us compare ourselves with the saints. How humbled we will become as we see what the saints have done and what they have suffered, and how little we have done and how unwilling we are to suffer!

When we see the faults and failings of someone, let us recall these thoughts of St. Paul and be merciful. Let us not seek to condemn and destroy, but seek like Christ to forgive and build up. Let us have the mercy of Christ that is so wonderfully illustrated in today's Gospel as Christ raises the widow's only son back to life.

Shakespeare offers us a description of true mercy which we might find useful to imitate as we strive to develop this virtue in our lives: "The quality of mercy is not strained, It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven Upon the place beneath. It is twice blessed _ It blesseth him that gives, and him that takes."

The gentle rains are readily absorbed into the parched earth, while the hard downpours penetrate very little and mainly just run off the earth leaving it hard and dry as ever. Likewise, a meek and gentle reproof has a better chance of affecting its purpose rather than a harsh or angry reproof.

Sometimes it seems that nothing we say or do will bring about the change we seek for in those we love. In this case we lose nothing, for God will see our intentions and efforts and we will be rewarded accordingly.

We must also remind ourselves that to forgive and be compassionate towards someone who may have fallen is not to condone or approve of their evil. We must likewise avoid this situation of giving any appearance that we approve of the evil. The mercy that we show must always be given in the spirit and with the mercy that Christ showed towards sinners.

The faults of others are an opportunity for us to do good, and in this light we should be grateful to God. Our enemies and even our insubordinate subordinates do us a grate service in offering us the opportunity to perfect ourselves in these virtues that St Paul admonishes us to follow. If we truly realize this we see that our enemies offer us a service for which we should be grateful. But, in this gratitude we are also humbled by the realization that the opportunity for us to grow in virtue has cost them dearly. We have benefited from their fall and so we have become their debtor. We owe them. So let us not only instruct such a one as St. Paul admonishes us to do with meekness, but let us also pray for them and offer them all the help we possibly can.

Report: Anti-Abortion Activist Gunned Down Outside Michigan High School
Friday, September 11, 2009

A well-known anti-abortion activist reportedly was shot multiple times and killed Friday morning in front of a Michigan high school as police investigate a second homicide possibly linked to the shooting.
Michigan State Police have taken a suspect into custody but have not released the name of the victim, the Flint News reported. The school was placed on immediate lockdown, though no students were injured or involved in the shooting, Ossowo Hish School officials told the paper.
School officials say the shooting took place outside of school grounds around 7:30 a.m., when most students were already inside the building for classes. The school, located 20 miles west of Flint, has since been on lockdown.
The suspect was picked up at his home at about 8:15 a.m. and is now being investigated in connection with a second homicide just a few miles away from the school, the
WNEM News reported.
As police sift through the second "homicide scene" near an Ossowo gravel pit Friday morning, they have ringed off a section of street in front of the high school, where a large sign bearing the image of a baby and the word "Life" can be seen, the Flint News reported.

HERE IS AN UPDATE:
http://www.mlive.com/news/flint/index.ssf/2009/09/antiabortion_activist_shot_in.html

Last summer about this time, we allowed our then 16 year old son to play football - homeschool football. Just to clarify, we've been in this sports program for years and three of the younger children have played basketball. It has been a wonderful experience for all of them. They've learned how to win and lose gracefully and have really had such wonderful coaches - for the most part.

Since my job usually kept me away from most of his games, I relied on other parents to drive him. This has never been a problem since we live on the way for many of them. We managed to see maybe one or two games but were absent for the game in question.
One morning last fall, our son slept until 2 pm. This is very unusual for him but I didn't realize he was still asleep because I was gone. He got up but didnt say anything except to go to the cabinet and swallow two tylenol. At the same moment that he was doing that, I was reading my emails and happened to open one from one of the mothers who asked me how he was doing after his mishap the night before. Of course, I was totally in the dark so I called her. She began to tell me this very incredible story of how "sonny boy" was playing football and cracked his head dead on with a player from the opposing team. Not only that, but even though he was staggering, he got into the line up for the next play! Not one person stopped him!

After talking to some other people, it was decided that he needed to see a sports medicine doctor that the team retained. We made an appointment - it took all of 2 minutes for these men to decide that he needed to see a medical doctor - pronto!
He was diagnosed with a severe complex concussion. He couldn't even answer simple questions and you can imagine how scary that is for a mother to see!
He's recovering now but the point I'm trying to make is the ATTITUDE of the coaches. Not ONE of them helped him. Not ONE of them asked him if he was ok. The woman who wrote me the email (who is a nurse) is the one that tried to get SOMEONE to help him. The man who drove him home was a coach too - and he was told by the nurse to TELL HIS PARENTS what happened! We werent home so instead of calling us, he told my other son (who promptly left for a date and totally forgot).

I called repeatedly and had numerous conversations with these moron coaches. To no avail. Not ONE of them would take responsibility for their actions. AND THEY CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIAN! They even had the head of the organization call me and spout off the legalities and how they weren't responsible. They weren't because I signed off on that but MORALLY IN FRONT OF GOD THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD US! He needed to stay awake all night but since we didn't know that, how could we do that!

Fortunately, his basketball coach is a very Godly man and has totally sided with me and has taken my concerns before the board so that this never happens to any other parents. After the football season, my son played basketball and this wonderful coach used to call me and say "what's wrong with him - he's usually so bright but he seems so confused". He has helped us out so much and I thank God for him and his wonderful wife as well.

There is a lot more to this story but when I read the following, it brought back all of these memories and the fact that I have NO doubt that these coaches pushed these kids to the brink of death and actually pushed this one over the brink.
My son could have EASILY been dead today - just like this young man:

A year after financial crisis, a new world order emerges

http://news.yahoo.com/s/mcclatchy/20090908/pl_mcclatchy/3307834_1

WASHINGTON — One year after the near collapse of the global financial system, this much is clear: The financial world as we knew it is over, and something new is rising from its ashes.

Historians will look to September 2008 as a watershed for the U.S. economy...

Don't hold your breath thinking that this jew world order, oops new world order, will be any better for you!

Very Disconcerting:

"OUR TIME HAS COME "

On September 25, 2009 on Capitol Hill, 50,000 Muslims are meeting for "Jummah Prayer". Here is their website but I warn you, keep your sound off. These people do not pray to the true God but pray to Satan. Their prayer is NOT for unity under the Blessed Trinity but dominance of their evil religion.

12,000 set for free phones

A new government program aims to provide free cell phones to about 12,000 low-income households in Marathon County.

TracFone Wireless has partnered with the Federal Communications Commission to provide a cell phone and 60 minutes of monthly talk time for one year. The state recently approved TracFone's request to provide mobile access to more than 547,000 households in Wisconsin that qualify for the SafeLink Wireless program.

SafeLink is an expansion of the Lifeline program, which has offered landline phone access to low-income households since 1984.

The new program works to fulfill Lifeline's original goal to bridge the technology gap and to disprove the notion that access to wireless communications is a privilege, said Jose Fuentes, director of government relations for TracFone.

"You should have a cell phone," Fuentes said. "It's a right."

Tom Rau, executive director of The Neighbors' Place in Wausau, said the service would be one less bill low-income families would have to pay.

Cell phone service tends to be the best communication option for low-income families who have children in school or rent their homes, he said.

"They tend to move around a bit," Rau said. "You don't have to pay installation. Many times, it can be the cheaper option."

Meg Jackson, who received a car from WINR Donated Wheels this year, said she doesn't have a cell phone because she can't afford one.

"Having a cell phone would be wonderful," said Jackson, 30, of Hatley.

Jackson pays $55 a month for landline phone service for unlimited long distance so she can call family members out of state.

Phone calls nationwide or to one of 60 international destinations are deducted as one minute for each minute used, Fuentes said. Customers can buy additional minutes through prepaid SafeLink airtime cards.

Here's a hot tip to Jose - anyone over the age of forty spent plenty of years without a cell phone and I'm here to tell him that it is NOT a right - it's just another tool that takes us away from our daily duties. It has its place but how many people actually use it for good! Most of the time we are sinning with our tongues while using it. Our tax dollars at work!
