THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Holy Name of Jesus
3 January 2010

Dear Friend,

"There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

These words are from God the Holy Ghost, given to St. Peter to speak to the rulers of the people in his day, and are in turn recorded for us in the Acts of the Apostles.

If we are to be saved this sacred name needs to be on our lips throughout our lives but most importantly, this holy name should be on our lips as we die.

We cannot help but to admire the courage of the Apostles and especially that of St. Peter as recorded in today's Gospel. This is the power of God given to them by the Holy Ghost, who was sent by the Father and the Son. We too received the Holy Ghost when we were confirmed.
We have been given the grace to invoke the holy name of Jesus with great efficacy. Christ has promised us that anything we ask the Heavenly Father in His name, He will give us.
This name which is so sacred and holy is most powerful for our spiritual advancement and welfare. And so we see all around us, especially today, that the devils have succeeded in getting mankind to lose sight of the sacredness of this name. This most sacred name is spoken in vain almost constantly. It is used as an explicative to denote shock or surprise, even though now the use has become so common that it seems to have lost any meaning.

Despite the second commandment of God that we are not to use His name in vain, we all too often hear this misuse. We should feel great shame that this practice continues and grows worse by the day, but now we fail to blush or feel any shame whatsoever. Our blood should boil at the insult committed against God, but we carry on as if nothing has happened.

And indeed maybe nothing has happened! These souls have no fear of their damnation because perhaps they have already been damned, and are just awaiting the execution of the sentence. In such instances we should feel great sadness for the loss of this soul. If we could only see the state of such souls, we would tremble in fear for them. Souls damned for all of eternity for trying to impress others with their blasphemous speech. What pride and vanity in thinking nothing of insulting the name of God.

The world is all aghast at the use of pejorative stereotyping words to label different segments of our society, but there is no concern in the speech of our society for the countless insults to God. We see this not only among the uneducated, the crude, and vulgar, but we even see it used by highly educated, and upper class people. This sin has become universal and acceptable in all walks of society.

As St. Paul might say to us today: Now is the time to begin to do something about this. We might not be able to curb all the abuse in society, but we certainly can do something about the abuses that we hear around us. We must rise up in defense of this holy name. We can not remain silent a moment longer.

An insult like this against God, is an insult to the entire Mystical Body of Christ of which we are members. And we should not fear to express our outrage at the insult casually or even boldly thrown in our faces. If we are cautious not to use any words that might offend others, must we not likewise be cautious not to use words in offensive ways to God and thus to all true Christians? If we are ashamed or embarrassed for others who lack the social understanding to refrain from stereotypical pejoratives, should we not likewise feel shame and embarrassment for those who lack the moral understanding of the need to obey the Second Commandment? If we speak out, admonish and correct others in our social mores, how can we remain silent in the face of the morally offensive vain use of Our Lord's Name?
Let us take seriously our duties as citizens and members of the Mystical Body of Christ and do all that is in our power for the keeping of this commandment, both for ourselves and those around us. And let us not stop there, but make it a part of our prayers to recite the Divine Praises in reparation for the countless offenses against the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.

'CIA, FBI paranoid about Israel's Mossad' and Jews

http://in.news.yahoo.com/139/20091021/894/twl-cia-fbi-paranoid-about-israel-s-moss.html

A former US official has said that both the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are extremely paranoid about the Israeli secret service Mossad and Jews, and adds that the charges of espionage against US Defense Department scientist Stewart Nozette reflect this fear and "extreme view".

These fears against Israel, former AIPAC staffer Steve Rosen tells The Jerusalem Post, could harm US-Israel relations.

"One of the things that our case revealed is the very extreme views that are held by some in counter-intelligence agencies of the CIA and FBI about Israel," Rosen said.

"They believe that the Mossad spied on the US on a huge scale and they believe that the Pollard case was the tip of some sort of iceberg," he added.

"When you keep repeating that the Mossad is spying on America, Israel is harming the United States, of course it harms the alliance between Israel and the US," he continued.

"The current case is even more peculiar because the government of Israel did nothing. It's revealing that they used Israel for the sting. They could have used China, or others. But they chose Israel," he says.

Describing an "obsession" with Israel within certain parts of the CIA and FBI, Rosen said if his own case had gone to trial, details reflecting the extreme views of his investigators would have come out.

"There was no wrongdoing," he said, reflecting on the case against him and Weissman.

Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, said the Nozette case is part of a "troubling" pattern of targeting Israel and Jews as potential spies against the United States.

The US Defense Department has repeatedly singled out Jewish employees for possible disloyalty, Foxman said.

The situation has escalated, with increasing cases of Jews having difficulty obtaining security clearance. If you have relatives in Israel, speak Hebrew, or practice Orthodox Judaism, he said, "changes are, you won't get clearance. That's the mindset out there." (ANI)

This Ziotrash is unbelievable - at least it appears that some in the FBI and CIA are not totally under their control!

"I have some concerns about the church's position respecting a woman's right to choose. I have some concerns about the church's position on gay rights. I am a practicing Catholic, although they're probably not too happy about that. But it is my faith. I practically mourn this difference of opinion because I feel what I was raised to believe is consistent with what I profess, and that is that we are all endowed with a free will and a responsibility to answer for our actions. And that women should have that opportunity to exercise their free will."

Detroit jet terrorist attack was staged - journalist

http://rt.com/Politics/2009-12-29/detroit-terror-act-fake.html

Published 29 December, 2009, 03:28

The recent failed attack on a US passenger jet traveling from Amsterdam to Detroit was a set-up provocation controlled by US intelligence, author and journalist Webster Tarpley stated to RT.

“[The terrorist’s] father, a rich Nigerian banker, went to the US embassy in Nigeria on November 19 and said ‘my son is in Yemen in a terrorist camp, do something about this.’
Nevertheless, the son is allowed to buy a ticket in Ghana, paying cash, $2,800, for a one-way ticket,” Tarpley said.

After that, a mentally deficient young man who doubtfully could make it from one gate to another managed to illegally enter Nigeria and get on a plane to Amsterdam.

“There was a well-dressed Indian man who brought him to the gate and said, ‘my friend does not have a passport, get him on, he is Sudanese, we do this all the time – that is impossible!” said Tarpley.

Ron Paul Says Agenda Behind Bombing Incident is More War, Attacks on Liberty.

Paul Joseph Watson
Tuesday, December 29, 2009

Congressman: “I am concerned what they are going to do to the American people”

Congressman Ron Paul fears that the agenda behind the Flight 253 bombing incident is to expand the war on terror into Yemen while stripping Americans of more liberties, warning that it’s time people woke up and realized that the government cannot guarantee their safety.

The Congressman highlighted how the bombing attempt followed geopolitical turmoil in Yemen in the form of attacks in the country launched by the Saudis with the endorsement of the U.S. – and how sectors of the media and politicians were now calling for Yemen to be a new front in the war on terror as a consequence of the Christmas Day incident.

“It seems ironic that there is so much excitement about this and now talk about attacking Yemen,” said Paul, adding that it was the United States’ presence in Yemen that represented a threat to America, not the purported presence of Al-Qaeda members in Yemen.

Two days after the incident, influential neo-lib Joe Lieberman cited the attempted plane bombing in calling for Yemen to be the next target of the military-industrial complex after Afghanistan, claiming the plot had links back to the Middle Eastern nation.

Paul raised the question of how a $75 billion dollar a year intelligence gathering structure failed to stop a dangerous man who had no passport and was on a terror watch list from boarding a plane.

“It really scares me because we do so much already – we spend $75 billion dollars on intelligence gathering in this country in order to protect us and make us safe, so with $75 billion dollars we weren’t able to detect this individual where there’s a glaring warning sign,” said Paul, citing the fact that the bomber’s father tried to warn the U.S. that his son was a threat a month ago.

Paul labeled the nature of the incident, “Either awful stupidity or there must be an agenda….I am concerned what they are going to do to the American people,” citing how the 9/11 hijackers were also known to the authorities, who were warned that they were only training to learn how to fly a plane and not how to land, but that nothing was ever done about it.

Paul said the people punished for the incident would not be those who failed to stop the terrorist, but the American people.

“They’ll add some more security on to us – first they make us take off our shoes and then our belts and then small bottles of water and put our computers in a tray and on and on so something else is going to happen, they won’t let us get out of our seats or look at our bags….thinking that’s going to make us a lot safer,” said Paul, adding that security should be managed by airline companies and not the government.

“The bigger the problem and the more the fear is built up, the more they take away our personal liberties and turn us all into zombies and the American people go along with it and say as long as it makes us safer I guess it’s OK to go along but it’s time the American people woke up and started realizing that there’s a bit of propaganda going on and quite possibly this incident will not only undermine our personal liberties but will also accelerate our intervention and the violence occurring in the Middle East,” concluded the Congressman.

Vatican newspaper pays tribute to books on Beatles, Rolling Stones
December 28, 2009

www.catholicculture.org/news/headlines/index.cfm?storyid=5021

The December 25 edition of L’Osservatore Romano paid tribute to two new books devoted to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Mark Hayward’s The Beatles: On Camera, Off Guard 1963-69 and The Rolling Stones: On Camera, Off Guard 1963-69 contain photographs-- most of them previously unpublished-- of the bands.

The L’Osservatore Romano column was written by Giuseppe Fiorentino and Gaetano Vallini, who earlier this year commemorated the fortieth anniversary of the hippie film Easy Rider.

Both of these rock bands were involved in the occult and played no small part in the drug culture and "sexual revolution" of the 1960's and '70's. The Rolling Stones even had a song called: "Sympathy for the Devil"!

UPDATE - THIS IS MY YOUNGER BROTHER - NOT ME - :)

Guess who got a leopard print Snuggie for Christmas?

I do not intend to make light of the serious situation going on right now, but I thought a smile might be ok. Keep praying for Elizabeth and "Bridget".

On December 26 starts the Twelve Days of Christmas, ending on the Twelfth Day, January 6, Epiphany. The popular Christmas song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas," was written in England during the persecution (1558-1820), when the Roman Catholic Faith could not openly be practiced. It was actually a catechism song for young Catholics with different levels of meaning. The hidden meanings of the song's gifts were intended to help children remember the lessons of their Faith.

"Twelve Days: Christmas to Epiphany.
"My True Love": God the Father.
"Me": every baptized soul.
"Partridge": Jesus Christ, symbolically presented as a mother partridge, which feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings.
2nd day: the Old and New Testaments.
3rd day: the theological virtues: Faith, Hope, and Charity.
4th day: the four Gospels.
5th day: the Pentateuch (first five books of the Bible), telling of man's fall from grace.
6th day: the six days of Creation.
7th day: the seven gifts of the Holy Ghost: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, fear of the Lord.
8th day: the eight Beatitudes.
9th day: nine fruits of the Holy Ghost: charity, joy, peace, patience, benignity, generosity, faithfulness, mildness, and continency (as taught in the catechism of the time).
10th day: the Ten Commandments.
11th day: the eleven faithful Apostles.
12th day: the twelve articles of the Apostles Creed.

Also during the time of persecution in England, an 18th-century English candy maker decided to make a candy commemorating Christmas. The candy cane represents a shepherd's staff and upside down is the letter commencing the Holy Name of Jesus. It is made of white candy to represent purity with three red stripes for the Holy Trinity and one large red stripe for Our Lord's Precious Blood later shed.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Christmas
25 December 2009

Dear Friend,

"Peace on earth to men of good will."
Croesus, one of the richest and most powerful kings of antiquity, once asked a philosopher this question: "Who, do you consider, is the happiest of men?" The king was astonished to hear him say that a poor unknown man is the happiest. The king demanded an explanation and was told: "That poor man is happier on his straw pallet, than thou, O king, on thy bed of down; for the angel of peace, who is far from thy throne, keeps watch at his couch."

This is the peace that all are looking for but few find it. Peace is necessary if we are to enjoy anything at all, either in this life or in eternity. St. Gregory of Nyssa says: "Whatever you may mention among things which are sweet and pleasant in life, peace is always necessary, in order that they may really be pleasant. For though you may have everything that is esteemed and valued in life, such as riches, health, joys, amusements and pleasures, what do all these things profit, when peace is wanting?"

If there were no peace in Heaven it would cease to be Heaven; and if peace could enter into Hell, it would cease to be Hell.
Peace left this world and mankind with the sin of Adam (Original Sin). All those who are in sin (Original or Actual), are at odds with God and therefore peace is far from them. In the book of Job we read: "Who hath resisted Him (God) and hath had peace?" And who is without sin? St. John says: "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." So mankind has been reduced to a most pitiful un-peaceful state.

But, we were not abandoned. God has had mercy upon us and sent His only begotten Son to redeem us. No mere human could pay the price of redemption because the infinite goodness of God has been offended. The Psalmist says "No brother can redeem, nor shall man redeem: he shall not give to God his ransom. Nor the price of the redemption of his soul" So God Himself came to pay the price of our redemption. But, at the same time it is necessary that man make the payment, so God has become Man. Thus as both God and Man, Jesus Christ has through His sacrifice paid the price of our redemption. He has purchased for us peace once again. And for all those who are of good will they are able to receive this peace hence we have the words of the Angels: "Peace on earth to men of good will."

The little child that we contemplate today lying in a manger in Bethlehem is the one and only source of peace for all of us. This is the day that all the children of Adam have been waiting for, and that we celebrate the anniversary of today.

The source of our peace has come, but this peace is not for everyone. It is only for those who are capable of receiving it, i.e. those of good will.

To receive this gift of peace from God, we must receive Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We must love Him with our entire being, and with a love that is preferential. We cannot allow anything to be placed above or before Him. So what does it mean to love God this way? How can we discern this virtue in ourselves?

Christ, Himself gives us the answer: "If you love Me, you will keep My word. . ." There is no peace for those who live a sinful life. Those who love sin are the enemies of God. To find this peace we must hate and detest sin. St. Anselm said: "If the jaws of hell were open on one side, and on the other were sin flattering and enticing me, I would rather go down into hell alive than yield to a single sin." This is how much the saints detested sin, and this should be our goal likewise. We should be ready to die rather than commit the slightest offense against God.
Many deceive themselves into believing that they can have peace even though they will not give up: sinful association, abandon a bad habit, make restitution for injustices, forgive offenses, etc. Such is the illusion of most of mankind.

This Christmas we are called upon to abandon these illusions and put off our sins by a true repentance and conversion, so that we may enjoy the true peace that Christ brought for us over two-thousand years ago. Let us abandon all sin and begin to detest it as the saints have done, and once we have cleared our conscience let us welcome Christ in the Holy Eucharist into our hearts so that we may obtain the gift of peace. And if we cannot physically receive Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, let us make most fervent frequent Spiritual Communions. This is the only way for us to receive true peace.

Las Vegas Teacher Accused of Denying Holocaust
Friday, December 18, 2009

www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,580627,00.html

LAS VEGAS — A Las Vegas teacher has been told to stay home while district officials investigate a claim that she denied in class the Holocaust happened, a newspaper reported Friday.

Clark County schools spokesman Michael Rodriguez said Northwest Career and Technical Academy teacher Lori Sublette was assigned to remain home, and appropriate action would follow an investigation.

Student Katie Piranio told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that Sublette said during a Nov. 25 class that history books were inaccurate and Nazis in World War II lacked the technology to kill millions of Jews.

Sublette did not immediately return a message left by The Associated Press seeking comment.

The Review-Journal said she did not answer when a reporter reached her Thursday and asked if she had denied the Holocaust happened.

Sublette said she was not in a position to respond and would have to talk to her principal.

Sublette is a full-time gym teacher. The district says she was teaching a 30-minute weekly class designed to prepare students for life after high school.

What do you suppose the odds are that a teacher denying the historical fact of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would be suspended from her job and that the story would make national headlines?
Remember - this is the OFFICIAL Vatican Newspaper of the Bogus Ordo. Maybe they use "simpsonian theology :

VATICAN CITY - To put it as the devout Ned Flanders would, the Vatican's newspaper thinks "The Simpsons" are an okely dokely bunch.
L'Osservatore Romano on Tuesday congratulated the show on its 20th anniversary, praising its philosophical leanings as well as its stinging and often irreverent take on religion.
Without Homer Simpson and the other yellow-skinned characters "many today wouldn't know how to laugh," said the article titled "
Aristotle's Virtues and Homer's Doughnut."
The paper credited "The Simpsons" — the longest-running American animated program — with opening up cartoons to an adult audience.
The show is based on "realistic and intelligent writing," it said, though it added there was some reason to criticize its "excessively crude language, the violence of certain episodes or some extreme choices by the scriptwriters."
Religion, from the snore-evoking sermons of the
Rev. Lovejoy to Homer's face-to-face talks with God, appears so frequently on the show that it could be possible to come up with a "Simpsonian theology," it said.
Homer's religious confusion and ignorance are "a mirror of the indifference and the need that modern man feels toward faith," the paper said.
It commented on several religion-themed episodes, including one in which Homer calls for divine intervention by crying: "I'm not normally a religious man, but if you're up there, save me, Superman!"
"Homer finds in God his last refuge, even though he sometimes gets His name sensationally wrong," L'Osservatore said. "But these are just minor mistakes, after all, the two know each other well."

Vatican nativity does away with the manger and replaces it with a TAVERN!

For 25 years, the Christmas Nativity scene in front of St Peter's Basilica has shown the infant Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem.

This year, however, the Vatican has decided to radically change the scene, shifting it to Nazareth, and placing Jesus in his father's carpentry shop.

When Pope Benedict XVI inaugurates the life-size Nativity scene on Christmas eve, the sheep and hay will be gone.

In their place will be a model of three rooms.

Jesus will lie in Joseph's shop, complete with "the typical work tools of a carpenter".

On one side, the shop will be flanked with a "covered patio", while on the other there will be the "inside of a pub, with its hearth".

The news came in an official statement from the State Department of the Vatican, which organises and builds the giant presepe, or Nativity scene...

You just can't make this stuff up!
Things just keep getting more bizarre and evil every day!

Even the "mainstream media" is picking up on their duplicity:

Listecki owned land with pal who swindled
Posted: Dec. 20, 2009

People in Milwaukee know a lot about Jerome Listecki, the incoming Catholic archbishop.
The easygoing 60-year-old bishop of La Crosse is a Chicago native, a lawyer and a devoted White Sox fan.
But here's something that few know about the guy:
For a while, Listecki was a budding real estate mogul, buying and selling property in Illinois and Wisconsin beginning in the mid-'80s.
But a couple of those deals soured amid controversy.
In particular, officials discovered that one of Listecki's business partners, a good friend from Chicago named Dennis Composto, was a swindler, having siphoned off funds from a church-run Catholic seminary to pay for a host of goodies, including a Wisconsin vacation condo he co-owned with Listecki and another church official. Composto was convicted for his deeds three years ago.
Throughout the ordeal, Listecki held onto the condo and the friendship. Only after Composto died in 2007 did Listecki sell off the property.
"Composto continued to deny any wrongdoing up until the very end," Julie Wolf, spokeswoman for the Milwaukee Archdiocese, said last week. "It's like you and I are good friends, and you're telling me, 'No, I had nothing to do with it.' Well, I'm not going to nail you to the wall."
Listecki is to be installed next month as the new spiritual leader of southeastern Wisconsin's nearly 700,000 Catholics. In the month since he was selected for the post, he has talked to the media about everything from his lengthy résumé to his thoughts on local sports teams.
But he has declined requests in recent weeks from No Quarter for an interview about his real estate deals.
"I don't think he wants to talk to you," Wolf said bluntly.
Speaking on his behalf, Wolf maintained that Listecki did not believe that his friend used any swindled cash to pay for his share of the joint real estate deals.
"There was no indication that any money that Mr. Composto used for his portion of it was ill-gotten," Wolf said. She later said Listecki was not familiar with the details of the litigation on the matter, despite news coverage of the case. "The (Chicago) Sun-Times didn't print the whole lawsuit."
In 2004, the Chicago Archdiocese sued Composto, accusing him of swiping more than $268,000 from St. Joseph College Seminary, located at Loyola University in Chicago. The suit alleged that he used some of the cash to help pay for a condo in Williams Bay, near Lake Geneva, that was held jointly by Composto, Listecki and another longtime friend.
"Bishop here co-owns vacation condo with embezzlement suspect," the Sun-Times shouted in a headline, referring to Listecki, then a Chicago auxiliary bishop.
The archdiocese later expanded the suit to say Composto also used embezzled dollars to pay down the loan on some undeveloped parcels in Walworth County that he again co-owned with Listecki and others.
All of this prompted a criminal investigation.
Composto eventually pleaded guilty in 2006 to bilking the seminary out of $96,000and agreed to pay $300,000 in restitution to the archdiocese.
He died the next year.
Not long after that, the three owners of the Williams Bay condo - Listecki, Composto's widow and Portland Archbishop John Vlazny - sold it for a tidy sum, splitting the proceeds evenly. Last year, Composto's widow bought out Listecki's interest in the undeveloped land in Walworth County.
John O'Malley, director of legal services for the Chicago Archdiocese, said his office conducted an internal investigation of the matter, interviewing Listecki as part of the process. The probe cleared Listecki of any wrongdoing.
"This is an interesting, sad story," O'Malley said. "The point is, Bishop Listecki had nothing to do with Composto's misconduct."
By all accounts, Listecki became friends with Composto and Vlazny while they were working in Chicago. All three held positions at or attended Quigley Preparatory Seminary North, a high school run by the Chicago Archdiocese before it closed in 2007.
The group was so close that Listecki had one of Composto's relatives as his administrative assistant when he was the auxiliary bishop in Chicago.
"That friendship grew over time," Wolf said. "I believe he said going back to the (Quigley) seminary is when they first met."
In the mid-'80s, Listecki, Composto, his wife and others bought some undeveloped land in the Town of Richmond in Walworth County for a little more than $12,000.
Listecki then purchased the Williams Bay condo for $61,000 in 1986, paying down about 20% and borrowing the rest from Kenosha Savings and Loan.
In 1993, Listecki refinanced the mortgage and officially brought Composto, his wife and Vlazny in on the deal.
The Chicago archdiocese accused Composto of diverting seminary cash during an 18-month period in 2002 and 2003 to buy books, videos and music, and to pay mortgages and lines of credit on multiple homes and properties. The suit said the money went for seven Illinois apartments or houses, the Williams Bay condo, the undeveloped Walworth County parcels and a house in Delavan.
Listecki had no financial stake in any of the other properties mentioned in the suit and criminal case. The Sun-Times said Composto and Listecki bought and sold other Illinois land that never came into dispute.
At the time of the suit, Composto had just been let go as controller for St. Joseph and he had filed an age discrimination complaint against the seminary. Listecki was on St. Joseph's board.
Despite the allegations, Wolf said Listecki did not consider selling off his interest in the condo and Walworth County land.
"In hindsight, they felt that if they had sold the property right away when the charges were filed, people might have come to the wrong conclusion, saying, 'See, there is something wrong here, and they knew it and they're getting rid of it,' " Wolf said. "That was just not the case."
In June 2007 - less than three months after Composto's death - his widow, Vlazny and Listecki sold the Williams Bay condo for $241,000, some $180,000 more than Listecki originally paid for it, according to public records.
Wolf said the condo was originally put in Listecki's name for convenience's sake but was co-owned by Vlazny and the Compostos. The proceeds from the sale were equally divided among the sellers, she said. Composto's widow, who did not return calls, used her share to pay down the restitution due the Chicago Archdiocese.
Bud Bunce, a spokesman for Vlazny, the Portland archbishop, said he didn't even know that the property had been sold. He said he had no comment on what was done with the money.
"That's a private dealing of his own," Bunce said of his boss.
Last year, Listecki sold his interest in the undeveloped land in the Town of Richmond to Composto's wife for $50,000. The deal was initiated and the documents signed two years earlier, but it was not recorded with the county until September 2008.
O'Malley said officials with the Chicago Archdiocese saw no reason to recommend that Listecki sell his interest in the properties co-owned with Composto. The Chicago church official did say that the archdiocese received full restitution.
"This is a classic situation of a trusted individual betraying their position and their trust," O'Malley said. "Working for the church is a close-knit undertaking, and people become friendly, people become friends. That's what this situation was. He betrayed those friendships."

CHECK OUT THE HEXAGRAM ON THE MITRE. GUESS WHO HIS BOSS IS????

Glory To God In The Highest....

It is nothing short of marvelous to consider that each and every day at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the priest repeats the very same Gloria which the angelic choir so sweetly sang to the shepherds on the sacred night of Our Lord's Nativity. For those of you who are familiar with the Mass, you can easily recite the first part of this exalting praise of the Creator from memory: "Gloria in Excelsis Deo, et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis." The subtle point that not everyone is familiar with, however, is the fact that the last two words of this particular line of Latin text are in the genitive plural case, which give these words the unmistakable translation that the Elect hold in such high esteem. The song that the angels delighted the shepherds with was: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will." Anyone who is already appalled by the blatantly materialistic bent of this celebration of the birth of the Saviour cannot help but notice the equally blatant corruption of the heavenly words. The world now shouts with joy: "Peace on earth and good will towards men!" Make no mistake in allowing your true Faith to be undermined with insipid indoctrination: This is most certainly NOT what the angels said.
This reality will be carefully and completely explained to you by an eminently brilliant genius and gloriously God-fearing Doctor of the Universal Church. Our valiant defender and most noble leader in this battle is the Doctor of Grace himself, the eternally honorable Saint Augustine. Here are the unctious words that the saintly Bishop delivered to Simplicianus: "The birth of Christ giveth not peace of mind, or salvation, but to such as are of good will, because He worketh not our good against our wills, but with the concurrence of our will."
By this solid and nourishing principle of Truth, we learn to understand that there is no possibility for peace of any kind among those souls possessed of wicked will. The Holy Ghost gives us the answer directly in the Holy Gospel, when Jesus stated without hesitation that "he who despises Me, despises Him Who sent Me." Now, the Truth is so simple that the logic flows without hindrance: You cannot truly obey His Commandments outside of the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ, The Roman Catholic Church; Unless you obey His Commandments, you prove that you do not love Him; If you do not love Him, you necessarily hate Him; Since you will hate one Master and love the other according to the words of Christ, you then prove that you both love and serve the devil. Can you possibly be of good will in serving the old dragon, who is the avowed enemy of souls? Since you cannot know, love, or serve Him correctly outside of the Catholic Church, how will you obtain peace of mind or peace of soul in your wretched state? Furthermore, where in the world do you find the least vestige of tranquility of any kind, whether it be among nations, communities, or even in individual households? If every year you proclaim this peace and good will toward men, why are there so many innumerable homicides, abortions, adulteries, and injustices of every type, to name but a handful? The answer is simple: the Antichrist has already established his kingdom, and for his six billion-plus slaves, whether willing or unwilling, the only peace they can possibly obtain is the false and transitory peace from indulging their passions, or from the salving of conscience through the degradation of others. The only way to cure these souls who grieve Our Blessed Mother as they rush headlong into hell, is to pray that they not only accept, but make themselves worthy to receive the grace of a return, a true and joyous reunion with their Creator. Peace on earth to men of good will. May we receive the gift of a new heart this Christmas, that we might offer to the Almighty worthy fruits of loving sacrifice and zealous prayer for lost souls. Amen.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Fourth Sunday of Advent
20 December 2009

Dear Friend,
Once again our thoughts return to St. John the Baptist and his preaching of penance. He preached emphatically that all must practice penance and he baptized the people to symbolize the washing away of their sins by the true penance that they were entering upon.

St. John, himself practiced most severe penance. He lived in the desert and clothed himself with a garment made of camel's hair girded with a leather belt. He survived eating locusts and honey. So his preaching was not hypocritical as he practiced even more severely the penances that the called the people to practice.

We have likewise this voice preaching penance in our own conscience. Our conscience is often as an annoying child who constantly clamors until he obtains his will. Our conscience cannot be silenced by ignoring it. It is best for us to befriend our conscience as early as we can, and thus avoid a long period of painful stings from our conscience and the all imposing heaviness of sin that follows every sinner making him unhappy and discontent with everything.

Our holy mother the Church likewise preaches penance to us. She sends us preachers who announce to us the necessity of penance and transforming our lives.

She likewise sends us seasons and feasts to preach to us over and over again the need of penance. We have principally the seasons of Advent and Lent to remind us of the need to do penance. The feasts of Our Lord, the Blessed Mother and the saints all call out to us, of the necessity of purifying ourselves so that we can one day enjoy their company for all of eternity. For nothing stained can enter the kingdom of Heaven.

God likewise preaches to us directly through the various events of our lives. There are dangerous sicknesses, environmental disasters, political upheavals, economic difficulties, etc. All things on this earth come forth from the hand of God including these heavy crosses. As we are forced to bear these crosses we are being trained in the ways of penance.

Yet, with all these preachers of penance constantly admonishing us to penance there seem to be fewer and fewer true penitents.

Many delude themselves into thinking that they do not need to do penance. They imagine that because they have not robbed, murdered, or committed adultery, etc. that they have no need for penance. They have never taken the time to carefully examine their conscience and truly compare their lives to the model that Christ has given us in Himself and in His words. Many forget to examine their sins of thoughts or omissions. Our examinations of conscience are most often limited to words and actions, but this is only the beginning. There are probably many times more sins committed in thoughts than we ever imagine. God accepts the desire for the deed. And how often do we fail to do that which we should do?

There are many who think that they will have time later to do penance and that they can live on in their sin until that time. Young people often think that they can continue to live in sin and then when they are married they will then begin to live virtuously.

No one of us knows how much time we will have left on this world. Many are the sinners that are taken from this world in the very acts of sin by which they seal their eternal damnation.
And those who desire to live in their sins until later continue to heap sin upon sin. And as they continue in this way they develop a habit that becomes harder and harder to break. As a man lives so it is that he will likely die. If we live in sin we are likely to die in sin.

The time of penance is now. We can become a friend of God at this very moment if we so choose. He is always receptive to our true penances. The only thing that holds us back is ourselves. We will ultimately one day meet our Savior face to face and we will either be welcomed with open arms by Him or we will be rejected by Him and cast into the infernal furnace of Hell. The choice is ours; we can either find a forgiving, loving Father or an exacting Judge.
All who at the coming of our Lord are not purified by true repentance and reconciled with God must hear those terrible words: "I know you not". Therefore do penance speedily, and save your immortal souls.
HERES A CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEA:
Speaking at Tweed Heads yesterday on a new "peaceful pill" suicide method being developed overseas, Dr Nitschke's comments sent right-to-life campaigners and church groups into a frenzy.
Asked whether it was in the spirit of the season to be publicising ways of ending life just a week before Christmas, Dr Nitschke said he was always going to attract criticism.

"Our main opposition is from religious groups who would still be getting outraged at Easter, or any other time of year for that matter," he said.
"There are people here in this room who I know have bought that (euthanasia medication) for their loved ones as Christmas presents."
His comments angered
Right to Life Australia's Queensland co-ordinator Graham Preston.
"A pill to kill yourself and your loved one as a Christmas present is absolutely reprehensible," he said.
"Christmas should be about celebrating life, so this is a very sad thing to hear." Australian Christian Lobby group Queensland director Peter Earle said no time of year was a good time to talk about euthanasia.
"Christmas is about giving people hope and life - how tragic Dr Nitschke would darken family lives with death at this time," he said.

Christian lobbyists clashed angrily with police at Dr Nitschke's last Gold Coast visit in May but there were no protesters yesterday as more than 100 people turned out to learn about "death with dignity".

A so-called "peaceful pill" is being developed from Nembutal, a drug commonly used by vets to put down animals, but not available to humans in Australia.
Instead, many elderly or sick people are being forced to travel to Mexico, where the drug is freely available.

While the present liquid form has an expiry date, Dr Nitschke said the pill being developed could sit for years and was easy to smuggle into the country.
Jill Kleinman, of Southport watched her husband lose a long battle with cancer and said she wished a painless alternative had been available to him.

"No one should have to die like that, so I am very interested in being able to buy something like this for myself," she said.

Remember, it is against the law for underage children to have sexual relations of any kind. There are young men that are labeled "sex offenders" for the rest of their lives because they had consensual sex with their girlfriend. I'm certainly not approving of that but think of this hypocrisy:

MPS approves condom handouts

Tom Kertscher of the Journal Sentinel

Without discussion, the Milwaukee School Board voted 7-0 Thursday night to make condoms available at many of the city's high schools, paving the way to make Milwaukee Public Schools one of the relatively few districts in the nation to provide contraception to students.
The communicable disease prevention program, as the district calls it, could be in place as soon as the 2010-'11 school year.
The proposal sparked some opposition after being made public Dec. 2, but the board approved the condom distribution without much dissent. Comments from the public are not allowed at board meetings and a board committee had voted 5-0 on Dec. 9 to recommend adopting the program.
The condoms will be available free of charge, but only to students in high schools that have school nurses and only after students request them at the nurse's office, according to a
fact sheet circulated by the school district. Up to two condoms will be distributed at a time.
Thursday's vote does not authorize funding for the program, but the district has said it will not use taxpayer money to buy condoms and instead will seek other sources of funding.
In proposing the program, the school district said a 2009 study found that nearly 63% of MPS high school students were sexually active, and that nearly one-third of those students had not used a condom the last time they had sexual intercourse.
Also cited were figures that rate Milwaukee high among U.S. cities in births to teen mothers and "particularly high" in the incidence of certain sexually transmitted diseases.
The district noted that its sex education policy takes an abstinence-based approach to reducing the risk of communicable diseases. And it says research shows that students are more likely to use condoms if they are available in schools but no more likely to be sexually active.
When the proposal
was first publicized, Sally Ladky, executive director of the Milwaukee-based Wisconsin Abstinence Coalition, said that a comprehensive medical exam, testing for sexually transmitted diseases, and a full report of a student's medical and family history should be required before any school offered a student contraception.
Citing the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the school district said 4.5% of high schools in the country make condoms available to students.
Last month, Democrats in the state Legislature
tried to pass a bill that would require schools that teach sex education to instruct students about birth control, but Republicans blocked final passage of the measure.
Republicans offered amendments - rejected by Democrats - that would have required schools to teach students about fetal development and the potential for criminal charges against underage students for having sex.

Here is what MPS is doing academically:

Britain’s Foreign Office wimps surrender to Israeli thugs

The British public must be wondering what has happened to the nation’s backbone – and its moral compass – when they see news items like these.

British Foreign Secretary David Miliband yesterday apologized to MK [Member of the Knesset] Tzipi Livni and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman for the arrest warrant issued against Livni in London earlier this week. He also promised Lieberman to begin working immediately to change the UK laws that enable the issue of arrest warrants against Israeli officials accused of war crimes.

Last November a British TV Documentary described the Israel Lobby in England as just as powerful and manipulative as its American counter-part? Jewish groups insisted that the British Israel Lobby was just a myth and an anti-Semitic one at that!

And now the British government has not only withdrawn the War Crimes warrant issued against Tzipi Livni but will now change British law to make future warrants against Israelis impossible ... no matter what war crimes they commit.

Do you think Britain's Israel Lobby is just a myth?

A new front for religious battles: Hotels and restaurants. The "Lobby for Jewish values" this week began operating against restaurants and hotels that plan to put up Christmas trees and other Christian symbols ahead of Christmas and the civil New Year.

According to the lobby's Chairman, Ofer Cohen, they have received backing by the rabbis, "and we are even considering publishing the names of the businesses that put up Christian symbols ahead of the Christian holiday and call for a boycott against them." ...

Oh - but we should be so tolerant of them - and these bogus "christians" just keep supporting them!

Middle-aged men who embarrass their children with flamboyant dance moves now have the perfect excuse – evolution...

...The cringeworthy "dad dancing" witnessed at wedding receptions every weekend may be an unconscious way in which ageing males repel the attention of young women, leaving the field clear for men at their sexual peak.

"The message their dancing sends out is 'stay away, I'm not fertile'," said Dr Peter Dad, a psychologist at the University of Hertfordshire who has compared the dancing styles and confidence levels of nearly 14,000 people.

His research has backed up scientific studies showing a connection between dancing, hormones and sexual selection....
hmmm - last I heard men can be fertile till the day they die - guess these "scientists" forgot that fact.

Mass. 2nd-grader sent home from school for drawing
Jesus on a cross for Christmas assignment

By ERIC TUCKER
Associated Press Writer

TAUNTON, Mass. (AP) -- An 8-year-old boy was sent home from school and ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation after he was asked to make a Christmas drawing and sketched what appeared to be a stick figure of Jesus on a cross, the child's father said Tuesday.

Chester Johnson said his son made the drawing on Dec. 2 after his second-grade teacher asked children to sketch something that reminded them of the holiday. The assignment came just days after the family had visited the holiday lights display at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Attleboro, where Johnson said his son seemed taken with the religious statues he saw there.
"When he seen the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross, that's what he drew," Johnson said. "He liked that. That drew his eye."

Johnson, who works at the school as a janitor on a per diem basis, said administrators were concerned the boy drew Xs for Jesus' eyes, and particularly worried when his son said he'd drawn himself on the cross after officials pressed him about who he'd drawn.

Johnson said his son might have been worried about getting in trouble if he said he drew Jesus. "If he said it was him, it was more like a cartoon," Johnson said.
Superintendent Julie Hackett said she could not discuss an individual student and did not address the drawing specifically or the teacher's reaction to it, but did say the school has safety protocols in place that were followed.

Hackett did not return multiple calls from The Associated Press on Tuesday.
Johnson said his son gets specialized reading and speech instruction. He showed a reporter an evaluation that said the boy was not a threat to himself or others. The boy has been back in school since Dec. 7.

Johnson said he assured his son that he didn't do anything wrong, but he said his boy was traumatized by the incident and demanding an apology from school officials. Johnson said he's also looking to have his son transferred to another school.

"You can't walk back in an establishment that didn't have confidence in you ... and continue to do business with them," he said. "He's been excluded from all the other kids, man."

In June 2008, a Taunton fifth-grade student was suspended for a day for a stick figure drawing that appeared to depict him shooting his teacher and a classmate.

NJ Abortion Clinic Pays $1.9 Million for Botched Abortion
Written by Operation Rescue

Huge pay-out raises questions about the dangers of abortion facilities that will be eligible for tax-funding should health care reform include abortion coverage.

Englewood, NJ – A troubled New Jersey abortion clinic affiliated with the National Abortion Federation (NAF) has paid out $1.9 million to settle a lawsuit brought by a Rasheedah Dinkins, who suffered a horrifically botched second trimester abortion in 2007.

The huge pay-out raises questions about the quality and safety of abortion facilities that will be eligible for tax-funding should health care reform now under consideration in the Senate include abortion coverage.

“We also have to wonder if taxpayers will be footing the bill for enormous malpractice settlements for botched abortions done on the public option plan,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “This case should be a wake up to Congress.”

Dinkins sued the Metropolitan Medical Associates and abortionists Keith Gresham and Nicholas Kotopouloswas alleging that during her abortion, she suffered a massive loss of blood from a uterine rupture that resulted in a stroke, a collapsed lung, a tracheotomy, and a hysterectomy. She was placed on a respirator and suffered a coma that lasted three weeks. The NAF was also named in the Dinkins suit.

“Businesses don’t pay out an amount like $1.9 million unless it fears that a jury would award a whole lot more. It shows how negligent and shoddy this abortion mill is,” said Newman.
After Dinkins’ suit became public,
two other women came forward to tell of botched abortions at Metropolitan Medical Associates that nearly killed them.

Metropolitan Medical then failed an inspection and was closed by the State for nearly a month while they cleaned up filthy conditions including dirty forceps, rusty crochet hooks used to remove IUDs, and a quarter-inch of dark red “dirt and debris” under an examining table. After it failed a second inspection Operation Rescue undercover investigators caught the clinic scheduling appointments, even though it did not have permission to re-open at that time.

“We’ve seen what NAF affiliation mean. We bought and closed an NAF-affiliated abortion clinic in Wichita, Kansas, in 2006, and discovered dangerous, filthy conditions including roach and mold infestations, out of code plumbing and electrical, and dirty, blood-stained carpets, to name a few,” said Newman.

“Considering the appalling conditions at NAF abortion mills, it is disturbing to know that they are pulling out the stops to lobby for abortion funding in the health care bill. It would be monumentally irresponsible to give one cent of our tax money to these filthy abortion chop shops.”

WELCOME TO OUR FUTURE UNDER THIS ADMINISTRATION:

He is a true and genuine Catholic who loves the truth of God, the Church, and the Body of Christ; who puts nothing else before divine religion and the Catholic faith, neither the authority nor the love nor the genius nor the eloquence nor the philosophy of any man whatsoever; but, despising all that and being fixed, stable, and persevering in his faith, is determined in himself to hold and believe that only which he knows the Catholic Church has held universally and from ancient times.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Third Sunday of Advent
13 December 2009

Dear Friend,

We each of us have a "voice crying in the wilderness" within us. And far from causing us to be sad or dismayed, we should rejoice and be glad.

Today we see St. John the Baptist answering those who desire to know who he is. St. John tells the truth, he is not the Christ, nor Elias or a prophet. He says of himself that he is a voice crying in the wilderness. A voice that cries out but very few hear and listen. This same function is performed for each one of us by our conscience. Our conscience is the voice of truth, the voice of God, within our souls that cries out to us to make straight the way of the Lord. We are informed which way we should go, how we should act, and what we should say. If we fail to heed its cry, we then hear its condemnation for our evil rebellion.

Just as St. John did not hesitate or fail to condemn the evil that he saw, even when it was in the ruler (Herod), so does our conscience reliably condemn the evil that it sees within us.

We are made in the image and likeness of God and it is in our conscience that we most resemble God who is truth itself. We cannot hide our evil from our own conscience just as we can hide nothing from God. Even if no one else in the world knows of our evil deeds, God knows and our conscience knows.

And in this capacity our conscience performs the work of God. It eats away at us warning us that we have done wrong and that we must straighten things out.

Men often become physically ill because of a guilty conscience. They have no need for anyone else to condemn them or torment them; their conscience condemns them more loudly than any human voice can, and it is relentless allowing the soul no rest or peace.

In our preparation to receive Christ this Christmas season, we must repeat history within our own souls. Just as the people went out into the wilderness to hear St. John preach penance and baptism; so must we enter into our souls to hear our conscience point out to us the evil within us and admonish us to penance. Only in this way will we find ourselves prepared when Christ comes to us.

We must not only hear the voice of our conscience but we must act upon it. If we choose to ignore the truth from our conscience we will end up as Herod. The evil that we love more than the truth will bring us to the drastic state of killing our conscience just as Herod killed St. John.
Once the conscience is silenced by our violent and evil wills, we are damned even while we still walk this earth. There can be no state more evil than that of someone with a dead conscience that no longer speaks or that he can no longer hear. Such a soul has no means of discerning right from wrong. The only voice that they now hear is their passions which freely lead them on from one vice to another each worse than the one before. And this continues until they enter into the gates of Hell.

It is said that: "conscience makes cowards of us all". And we can see how true this is. If we are attune to the voice of our conscience we see clearly not only our sins and transgressions but also our profound weakness and misery. It is in this state of profound awareness of our complete weakness and our awful sinfulness brought upon us through our conscience that leads us to the profoundest of humility. This awareness of truth of their own souls and profound humility is what brought many of the saints like St. Francis to style themselves the worst of sinners. This is not a "pious exaggeration" because they say this not in comparison of their souls to others around them, but in comparison of their souls to the perfect model _ Christ - who their conscience constantly holds up to them as the ideal.

The tragic mistake of most of mankind is that they do not listen to their conscience in the comparison of their lives to Christ, but rather they listen to their passions which compare their lives to the lives of those around them. And their passions clearly tell them that they are not so bad. There are others that are much worse than they are and so they can comfortably lull themselves to sleep in their sins. They are unable to see another's conscience so their judgment of the person's life is at best a guess. The guilt which they see may not be there in the eyes of God, so perhaps they are not even as good as they would like to believe and their comparison is a lie. And in following their lie they live under the illusion that they are better than the rest of men, when in reality they are worse than the rest of men.

Let us bring forth the voice of our conscience and attune ourselves to hear it no matter how painful it may be to us. And in this state let us become profoundly humble and straighten out the rough and crooked ways of our souls so that we may truly receive the grace of Our Lord and Savior on Christmas day.
