A rocket at the centre of Nasa's plans to return to the moon is so "dangerously flawed" it could kill its crew, agency engineers have claimed.
Last Updated: 2:55PM GMT 31 Oct 2008
Concerns over the safety of the Ares craft prompted one engineer to resign, complaining of “catastrophic-level risks”.
The space agency has admitted that in certain conditions Ares could blast off into its own launch tower, and that other potential problems include the rocket vibrating so much that its astronauts could die before they reach orbit.
But Nasa said the problems were "growing pains" and could be fixed before the US goes back to the moon in 2020.
“Nasa has a big reality check coming and I can't begin to guess how it will all turn out,” Jeff Finckenor, a structural design engineer at the Nasa Marshall Space Flight Centre in Alabama, said in a memo to colleagues explaining his departure and quoted in the Times.
A prototype for the craft could be launched in Florida in July.
Once perfected, the rocket will be topped with a crew-carrying capsule which is intended to carry astronauts to the International Space Station and on longer-haul trips to the Moon and even to Mars.
But some believe that the programme, which began in 2005, needs to go back to the drawing board.
“With catastrophic-level risks accumulating across the programme and a steadfast refusal to accept reality, it's become clear to me that as bad as things are they are going to have to get a whole lot worse before the pieces can be picked up,” Mr Finckenor said.
Funny - ain't it - we supposedly sent men to the moon 6 times between 1969 and 1972 - a time when the engineers did not have computers - and used slide rules - thats right slide rules - a time when computers the size of a house had less memory than many calculators today!
This was also a time before CNC machines were invented and tool and die making was done by hand!
Yet today - we cannot design a rocket to do what was done 6 times ago in an age before computers and CNC machines - hmmmm
somebody is feeding us some bovine excrement - could it be that we really never went to the moon to begin with and that is why they are having such a hard time figuring out how to get there today?

TV anchor defends her questions in Biden interview
This interview illustrates that if a reporter gives tough questions to a political candidate - they will be black listed by the candidates - and therefore they will loose all access to them - and this will lead to the news organization not being able to report on much of anything and loose ratings.
This happens with both parties and is why you cannot get any sort of truly accurate reporting in America - not to mention the Zionist control of all of the mainstream press.
This interview also has an interesting footnote - near the end she mentions that her husband was aiding Senator Paul Wellstone in his investigation into the sex slavery business. This business is almost exclusively controlled by Jews and many American politicians are involved - wasn't it convenient that Paul Wellstone died in a plane crash!
(To be said when problems arise or when one seems deprived of all visible help or for cases almost despaired of)
Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (Here make your request) and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever. I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen.

St. Augustine of Hippo (354-430AD) on the permanence of the Catholic Church
Risk-averse Germans are turning to gold in troubled times - but there's none left.
German gold dealers say demand has skyrocketed this past week to 10 times normal so no more orders can be taken for the foreseeable future.
"The demand exceeds our capacities by a great deal," said Heiko Ganss, head of precious metal company Pro Aurum.
"The requests cannot be satisfied right now," a dealer from the Düsseldorf WGZ Bank confirmed.
"Demand for gold as a conservative investment has risen dramatically," said stephan Henkel. "right now the demand is about 10 times as high as in normal times."
Gold deliveries now take between four and six weeks.
The US mint said on Monday it had exhausted some of its supply of bullion coins and was struggling to meet demand for gold, silver and platinum.
South Africa's Rand Refinery, producer of the world's most popular gold bullion coin, the Krugerrand, temporarily ran out of the coins in August.

While a pink sky at night might be a shepherd's delight, London residents were left scratching their heads last night as a mysterious pink cloud drifted over the city.
Bemused bystanders in Mayfair craned their necks to witness the strange alien-like cloud that appeared for just under an hour at around 8:30pm.
It hovered over buildings before breaking up and slowly disappearing.

Holocaust strip cartoon tested on German schoolchildren
Updated: 13/Oct/2008 12:50
BERLIN (AFP)--- A strip cartoon telling the story of the Holocaust has been tested on hundreds of German schoolchildren, provoking "lively discussions" in class and a desire to find out more, organisers said on Friday.
"The strip cartoon provoked lots of interest among the pupils and generated a lively desire to find out more about the subject," said Janka Hartwig from the Anne Frank Centre in Berlin,
which organised the project.
"Die Suche" ("The search") tells the made-up story of a Dutch Jewish woman, Esther Hecht, who survived the war but whose parents were both murdered at the Auschwitz concentration camp.
It follows her as years later, with her grandson Daniel, she tries to find the people who hid her from the Nazis.
The book was tested on 456 pupils aged between 12 and 15 between February and July in Berlin and in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia who then completed a questionnaire about what they thought about it.
The book, illustrated by Eric Heuvel, was developed by experts from the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, named after the Jewish girl whose diary about hiding from the Nazis before being deported in 1944 and killed became world-famous.
"The power of the strip cartoon is that is went down the same way in all the classes, no matter what age group or level," Hartwig said.
The entire holocau$t story is a "made-up story"!

An Afghan journalism student sentenced to death for allegedly ’insulting Islam’ had his conviction upheld but his sentence reduced to 20 years in prison by an Afghan central appeal court today.
The prosecution alleged that Sayed Perwez Kambashkh, 24, downloaded from the internet and distributed an article by an Iranian writer questioning some of the tenets of Islam relating women’s rights. He has always denied the charges...

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Christ The King
26 October 2008
Our Lord said, "My kingdom is not of this world".
Christ's kingdom is not of this world but it is in this world. Christ's kingdom is not from here (this world) but is from Heaven. He has come to establish His kingdom here on earth. This is a new kingdom unlike any that the world has produced before. This kingdom is often at odds with the kingdoms of this world.
What is foolishness in the eyes of the world turns out to be wisdom in the kingdom of God. And that which is considered wisdom in the eyes of the world is foolishness in the kingdom of God.
This kingdom is from Heaven and teaches the ways of God. And this kingdom of God is present here on earth in the true Catholic Church, where the ways of God are taught and held up as the ideal for our imitation.
In St. Francis' Peace prayer we see the variance between the kingdoms of this world and the kingdom of God.
In the kingdoms of this world we exchange hatred for hatred, but in the kingdom of God we are taught that where there is hatred, we are to sow love.
In the kingdoms of this world where there is injury we are told to strike back and return injury for injury, but in the kingdom of God we are taught that where there is injury we are to return pardon.
Where there is despair we must return hope.
Where there is darkness we must return light.
Where there is sadness we must return joy.
Christ's kingdom is from Heaven and He has brought it to earth and established it as the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. It is the duty of every member of this Church to carry this Kingdom to the rest of the World.
God is not content with only ruling in the hearts, minds, and wills of His people, He also wishes to rule over all societies, nations, and peoples.
All of creation is awaiting the coming of these sons of God _ true Catholics _ true members of the Kingdom of God. We have been given a wonderful grace in the Catholic Faith, but sadly the majority of those who have received this treasure have abandoned it and turned to the ways of the world and the kingdom of Satan.
The ideal would be for the kingdom of God to spread throughout the world and incorporate all nations and all peoples. Sadly this is not the situation. The kingdom of this world (Satan's kingdom) is the one that is growing. Men are losing all Faith, Hope, and Charity. Secularism is no longer on the ascendancy, but is now the predominate attitude of the world today.
There is now a universal blindness spread over people's minds. This blindness is the punishment of a prevailing libertinism, of a want of piety, of a dangerous curiosity, and of a foolish presumption. God chastises men by leaving them to themselves, and He deprives them of His light, which they either reject or abuse. He suffers them to plunge into a worse darkness than that of ancient idolatry. Human malice is greater in these days than it ever has been; the corruption has taken deeper root; and the forgetfulness or contempt of principles more universally prevails.
The kingdom of God appears to have failed but, appearances are often very false. Though the kingdom of the world appears to have the ascendancy, the kingdom of God is not yet dead, and it will last until the end of time _ even if there is only one true member left.
When Christ returns there will be a general resurrection followed by the General Judgment. The damned will be cast into the depths of Hell. The earth will be renewed and the Kingdom of God will be eternally established not only in Heaven but even here on earth.
The original plan that started with the Garden of Paradise and was to expand to the rest of the earth will be accomplished when Christ returns. Until that day comes, the true members of the Catholic Church — the Kingdom of Christ — will have to suffer because they are at odds with the kingdom of the world (Satan). But, their joy when they are in the eternal paradise of the Kingdom of God will be, many times over, sufficient compensation for all they may have suffered from the kingdom of Satan.
Peru discovers 3,000-year-old temples
Tue, 21 Oct 2008 09:45:46 GMT
Monumental staircase, 25 meters widePeruvian archaeologists have confirmed the discovery of two 3,000-year-old temples in an ancient complex near the capital Lima.
The two structures formed part of a large ceremonial complex that belonged to the pre-
Columbian Cupisnique culture, Reuters reports.
The team discovered a monumental staircase 25 meters in width as well as a polychromatic relief with images of the spider god in the archaeological complex of Collud-Zarpan, located some 800 kilometers north of Lima.
The government is to allocate a budget of $600,000 to study Peru's most important religious finds in order to reveal information about the influence of the Cupisnique culture

These photos are from the "Praise and Worship" service at AW's "church."
"There have never been wanting in all the periods of ecclesiastical history those who rebelled against this essential foundation stone of the Church's corporate existence. Proud and conceited men who, filled with the vanity of their own learning or impatient of the restraint of spiritual law, have risen in revolt, and preferring, as men will, to whom Christ's sweet yoke is a galling burden, their own conceits to the unerring voice of Christ's representatives in the Church's government, have arrogated to their own weak individual minds that which they refused to the guardians of the Faith. Folly indeed!!
But to such action, as criminal as it is illogical, the Church has even given only one answer "If he hear not the Church let him be to thee as the heathen and the publican, the Same answer given by the Divine Founder."

Asian and European leaders are arriving in Beijing to discuss ways to deal with the global financial crisis. Europe wants support from China and other Asian giants on the crisis, as well as on climate change and sustainable development. Daniel Schearf reports from Beijing.
Leaders from more than 40 Asian and European countries will hold two days of talks in the Chinese capital....
..."If you look, for instance, at the level of reserves some countries have and the level of consumption, or internal demand, compared with other major players. That is one of the reasons why I really believe that China has a word to say and that is, by the way, in the interest of China, to be an active participant in this new financial order that will be created," Barroso said....

WESTMINSTER, October 22, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) – U.K. pro-life campaigners were deeply saddened at tonight’s vote on the Labour government’s Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill. MPs voted 355 to 129 to pass the bill that allows human/animal embryos to be created by cloning and used in experiments.
The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) condemned the vote, saying, “Future generations would regard the bill as devaluing human life.” SPUC said they will raise the issue during the next general election.
Besides allowing the creation of cloned human/animal embryos for experimentation, the bill will enshrine in law all the individual permissions given in the last 16 years by the UK’s Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority. It will allow homosexual partners to have children created for them in IVF labs after it abolishes the requirement that doctors consider the “need for a father” in artificial procreation treatments. It allows the creation of children, called “saviour siblings,” to be used as tissue donors for siblings, and permits the genetic manipulation of embryos for eugenic purposes. Earlier this week, it was also revealed that the government plans to use the bill to allow the creation of human clones from tissues taken from mentally incapacitated patients who cannot give consent.
Describing the vote as “tragic” and the bill itself as “macabre,” SPUC director John Smeaton said, “Our only consolation is that thousands of people across the country have joined a concerted campaign in solidarity with unborn children.”

Although there is a danger of overestimating these things, it seems fair to say that the world order is being recast...
they are really preparing us for the coming world government of anti-christ.
WASHINGTON – World leaders will meet Nov. 15 in Washington to address the global financial crisis — the first in a series of summits to mitigate what economists predict could be a long and deep downturn.
In making the announcement, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said the first meeting will focus on the underlying causes of the financial crisis, the global response and the principles that should guide any reforms.
The summit will bring together leaders of the Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and the United States, the European Union China, Brazil, India, Russia, South Korea and other major economies. She said the White House would seek input from the winner of the U.S. presidential election who will take office on Jan. 20...
This is where the new currency will appear to come from - the finalization of the world government to be led by anti-christ has commenced!

'No God' slogans for city's buses
St. Paul of the Cross (1694-1775AD) on the Passion of Christ
Frankly, I don't know how it is that a MAJOR French newspaper reports such news and it is not headlines all over the world... We have been saying in this blog that Sarkozy has Zionist 'preferences'... We were saying that Sarkozy was a Zionist agent...
btw - the "bombshell" is not that this Jewish creep is a Mossad agent - rather it is that the French police are actually investigating it!
They key statement from the video below occurs at about 2:35 minutes into the video.
Here is the text:
“The problems will always be there and there’s going to be a crisis which will come along on the 21st, 22nd of January that we don’t even know about right now.
So I think what the President has to start to do is to start using the power of the oval office and the power of his personality to convince the American people and convince the world that America is solid, that America is going to move forward, we are going to fix our economic problems, we’re going to meet out overseas obligations.”
Is Colin Powell referring to a theoretical crisis that could occur at any time? If so why does he choose a specific date, within the first two days after the inauguration? Also why does he refer to general problems that the new president will have to deal with in a separate context? We are already in an economic crisis, everyone knows that, so what new crisis is Powell talking about?
Whatever you read into Powell’s comments, they sound somewhat bizarre, particularly as they come on the back of Joe Biden’s “guarantee” of a “generated crisis” to “test the mettle” of the new leader within six months of the new presidential term:
What does Biden mean by “generated crisis”? It is an undeniably strange term to use.
His reference to John F. Kennedy indicates that Biden may have been referring some kind of geopolitical crisis in the vain of the Cuban missile crisis of April 1961. The confrontation between the United States, the Soviet Union, and Cuba at the height of the Cold War came within the first four months of JFK’s presidency.
Obama’s running mate made the comments at a fundraising event in Seattle two days ago, on the same day Powell also spoke of a coming crisis.
the above commentary was taken from Steve Watson
Polish "Bishops" Outline How to Leave Church
BIALYSTOK, Poland, OCT. 17, 2008 (Zenit.org).-
If a Catholic in Poland wants to leave the Church, the country's bishops won't be standing in the in the way.
Poland's episcopal conference has released a 22-point document to guide Catholics who want to renounce their baptism and leave the Church, reports Ecumenical News International.
The bishops affirmed that leaving the Church is an offense against God, and that it is "pained by every sin" of separation: "Persons in peril of committing such a deed should be instructed and encouraged in love to abandon their intention of leaving the church."
"But their natural right to decide their path in life should also be upheld," the bishops added.According to the guidelines, those wishing to leave the Church should submit a written statement to their parish priest, in the presence of two witnesses. The act bars the individual from the sacraments, including a Christian burial.
The bishops suggest time be given to reconsider, and underline that an individual's name will not be removed from parish records.
Consistent with the devilish ambiguity which is characteristic of the Vatican II sect, the “bishops” claim that it’s a sin for one to leave the Church while they issue a guide on how to do so. Thus, they are helping people commit this sin, and are therefore guilty by cooperation.
Haaretz (Israel) The John McCain-Barack Obama contest has been one in which the issues of Wall Street and fitness for the presidency have far overshadowed the subject of Israel. But the Jewish vote remains a key element in battleground states, and, playing a wide variety of roles, Jews have helped to shape the campaigns. Thirty-six of them are mentioned below.

Bush looks forward to summit on financial crisis
By Deb Riechmann, Associated Press Writer
CAMP DAVID, Md. — President George W. Bush, looking for answers to a global economic emergency with just three months left in office, will host an international summit to discuss ways to fix the world financial system but warned against reforms that threaten capitalism.
"We will work to strengthen and modernize our nations' financial systems so we can help ensure that this crisis doesn't happen again," Bush said Saturday at the Camp David presidential retreat.
Bush, meeting with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, did not announce a date or site for the summit. But Sarkozy suggested it be held in the shadow of Wall Street before the end of November.
"Insofar as the crisis began in New York, then the global solution must be found to this crisis in New York," Sarkozy said.
In a joint statement issued after their slightly more than 2 1/2-hour visit, the three leaders said they would contact other nations next week about having a summit in the United States soon after the presidential election, then a series of subsequent summits to address the challenges facing the global economy...
...Bush has backed the steps European nations have taken to fix the financial markets and is willing to listen to a range of ideas from both developed and developing nations, but he hasn't signed on to the more ambitious, broad-stroke reforms that some European leaders have in mind to avoid a repeat of the market crisis that rippled around the globe.
Sarkozy has floated the idea of reforming rating agencies and even exploring the future of currency systems. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who engineered a British bank bailout that inspired U.S. and European rescues, is proposing radical changes to the global capitalist system, including a cross-border mechanism to monitor the world's 30 biggest financial institutions...
...Barroso said it was time for the entire international financial system to be reformed.
"We need a new global financial order," he said. "The European Union and the U.S., we can make a difference together."
Sarkozy also stressed the urgency of what he said was a "worldwide crisis" that demands a "worldwide solution."...
Global summit should look at currencies: France
BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Relationships between major world currencies should be studied as part of a global overhaul of the financial system in the wake of the financial market crisis, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said on Thursday.
"Another subject in tomorrow's world is that of the great currencies. How many should there be? What should the agreement between these great currencies be? Should we organize a discussion? Should a country like India one day have a global currency?" Sarkozy told a news conference...
Could this really be it folks?
Could this global currency be the "mark of the beast" without which no one can buy or sell?
No nation could exist for long if the major world powers went to a global currency.
Russian troops attacked, report claims 50 killed
MOSCOW (AFP) — A Russian troop convoy was attacked Saturday in the volatile Caucasus province of Ingushetia and an opposition website said around 50 soldiers had been killed, though officials confirmed only two dead.
Around 100 interior ministry troops were in vehicles travelling on a road near the village of Galashki when they were attacked with grenade launchers and automatic weapons by the gunmen, officials said.
A website run by opponents of Ingushetia's Moscow-backed administration, www.ingushetia.org, quoted unnamed local interior ministry and medical sources as saying that "around" 50 Russian soldiers were killed in that attack.
If confirmed, that figure would represent one of the most deadly strikes against Russian federal forces in the north Caucasus since the end of major combat operations in neighboring Chechnya several years ago...
Forgotten Experiment May Explain Origins of Life
Originally considered a dud, an old volcano-in-a-bottle experiment designed to mimic conditions that may have brewed the components of life might have been right on target.
After reanalyzing the results of unpublished research conducted by Stanley Miller in 1953, chemists realized that his experiment had actually produced a wealth of amino acids — the protein foundation of life.
Miller is famed for the results of experiments on amino acid formation in a jar filled with methane, hydrogen and ammonia — his version of the primordial soup. However, his estimates of atmospheric composition were eventually considered inaccurate. The experiment became regarded as a general rather than useful example of how the first organic molecules may have assembled.
But the latest results, derived from samples found in an old box by one of Miller's former graduate students, come from a device that mimicked volcanic conditions now believed to have existed three billion years ago. The findings suggest that amino acids could have formed when lightning struck pools of gas on the flanks of volcanoes, and are a fitting coda for the late father of prebiotic chemistry...
This article appeared on the front page of Yahoo today.
This is OLD NEWS - amino acids have formed in many experiments over the last few decades. Each time it is reported as an important discovery in the origins of life.
Amino acids are LIGHT YEARS away from life.
Amino acids are NOT LIFE - amino acids are part of protein molecules - PROTEIN MOLECULES ARE NOT LIFE.
Iraqi Restoration Expert Miqdad Al-Baghdadi Accuses "The Jews" and US Army of Plundering Iraqi Antiquities
Miqdad Al-Baghdadi: Another very dangerous element is Judaism. The Jews look for any historical evidence that will establish their rights in the region. The library uncovered in Assur – the Library of Assurbanipal – which consists of more than 30,000 clay tablets, is called the library of clay tablets, the Library of Assurbanipal. This library has been taken... Not a single tablet has been left in Iraq. The Jews tried to find...
Interviewer: Where has it been taken to?
Miqdad Al-Baghdadi: To Britain.
The Jews are trying to find any trace that they ever existed in this region, but so far, they have been unsuccessful. Even in the studies they are conducting in Jerusalem, and in the Cave of the Patriarchs, they are trying to find any evidence...
Interviewer: To support their claim that they existed in the region.
Miqdad Al-Baghdadi: Yes. Something that would prove that they existed and were people of culture, but every buried document they excavate shows that they have always spread corruption.

“Public homosexual activity in parks and public bathrooms must not be impeded by law enforcement officials except as a last resort, says a new set of draft guidelines for UK police. Deputy Chief Constable Michael Cunningham of Lancashire Police, who drew up the 21-page report, titled "Guidance on Policing Public Sex Environments", wrote, "In any event it is not for the police to take the role of moral arbiter." Rather than arresting those who have sex in public, the police should instead guard the "human rights of those people who frequent open spaces."

As central banks continue to splash their cash over the system, so far to little effect, Ambrose Evans-Pritchard argues that things risk spiralling out of their control
Twenty billion dollars here, $20bn there, and a lush half-trillion from the European Central Bank at give-away rates for Christmas. Buckets of liquidity are being splashed over the North Atlantic banking system, so far with meagre or fleeting effects.
As the credit paralysis stretches through its fifth month, a chorus of economists has begun to warn that the world's central banks are fighting the wrong war, and perhaps risk a policy error of epochal proportions.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
Twenty-Third Sunday after Pentecost
19 October 2008
When Adam sinned he brought forth a dual death, if you will, into the world. We have the death of the soul through sin and the death of the body in consequence of the death of the soul.
We tend to focus all our attention upon the lesser of these evils the death of the body rather than the greater evil, the death of the soul. We morn and pine for the bodies of our loved ones who have passed away, often forgetting that the death of the body is not the greatest evil. And that the body will one day be raised from the dead.
The second Adam (Jesus Christ) came to restore that which was lost through the sin of Adam. The first consequence of Christ's sacrificial redemption upon the Cross for our sins is to free us from the greater death _ the death of our soul. Through the sacraments that Christ instituted in His Church we have the source of grace _ the life of our soul restored, healed and nourished. But, we are still subject to the first death _ the lesser evil _ the death of our bodies.
This you might say leaves the merits of Christ's redemptive act incomplete. But, this will all be rectified at the end of the world. Then our bodies will rise from the dead just as our souls have risen from the dead through the reception of Baptism and Penance.
We see that the death of this body is nothing to fear. The death of the body is more like an extended sleep. Just as Christ brought this girl in today's Gospel back from the dead and rose Himself from the dead, so too we will rise.
Man was created with both body and soul and until our bodies rise up and reunite with our souls we are incomplete. Even though the Saints in Heaven are happy and enjoy the Beatific Vision they still have a kind of desire to be reunited to their bodies. They are not complete without this body that allowed them to unite their sacrifices with Christ's and merit the reward (inheritance) of Heaven. This will all be rectified on the last day when all those who have died will rise again from the dead.
Those who are Saints and have merited the rewards of Heaven will have their bodies rise from the dead in a glorified state. They will have the very same bodies that they had here on earth but they will be glorified. They will suffer nothing ever again in their bodies. Their bodies will be perfect in their kind. They will be restored to their prime condition complete and entire. Yet, these bodies will not ever be harmed again. They will not be able to be cut, burned, or broken. Our bodies will be in a sense spiritualized. They will not be restricted by time or place. Our bodies will travel with the speed of our thoughts. There will be no wall or lock that will bar us from anything. These bodies will come and go just as Christ did after His resurrection. These bodies will not suffer any need of food or any other animal need. They will be perfect.
But, on the other hand those who have died the second death _ the death of their souls will _ undergo a different kind of resurrection. They will rise from the dead as the just have done but, their bodies will be filled with all the ignominies of their sins. Their bodies will forever suffer with their souls the eternal torments of Hell. Their bodies will constantly feel pain and suffering with no alleviation or mitigation of any kind. Their bodies will suffer just as their souls suffer the eternal longing to be united with God but will ever be held back and frustrated because of their crimes.
The day of the resurrection will be a joyful time for the Saints and a day of dread and despair for the damned.
Let us think of the death of our bodies not with the fear and loathing of the pagans and those that do not know or trust in God. Those that do not know God, do all they can to preserve their mortal lives here on earth as long as they can, and seek to become immortal in their present state. We have been given God's promise of a resurrection. We who have the faith realize that physical death is a just punishment for our sins, and we accept and look forward to the day when we will rise with a glorious body ever to be united with Christ.
Let us fear and tremble and do all that we can to avoid the death of our souls. Those that do not know God never give a thought to this death. They flaunt their sins and the sickness and even death of their souls before the rest of the world.
If we can avoid the death of our souls here on earth then we have nothing to fear concerning the death of our bodies because it is only temporary. And we can avoid the death of our souls and we can even restore them to life while we are here on earth if we will only receive the sacraments that Christ has given us and cooperate with the grace that He has merited for us with the sacrifice of His body on the Cross.

WASHINGTON – Construction of new homes plunged by a bigger-than-expected amount in September as builders slashed production to the slowest pace since early 1991, when the country was in a deep recession.
A barometer of future building also dropped to the weakest level in more than 25 years.
The building industry is on pace to construct the fewest new homes and apartments this year since the end of World War II...
...Applications for building permits, considered a good sign for future activity, also fell sharply in September, dropping by 8.3 percent to an annual rate of 786,000 units, the weakest level since November 1981...

Actually, the Novus Ordo has dumped the traditional Sacrament of Extreme Unction, so powerful to the faithful in their last hours and carrying, with the proper intention on the part of the individual, a plenary indulgence for the remission from the temporal punishment for his sins. The Novus Ordo has replaced the Sacrament with a mere "Blessing of the Sick." Moreover, it has now been revealed that even this "blessing" has been phony in many cases since it has used a completely invalid "oil of gladness."
Traditionally, there are three Sacred Oils, consecrated by a bishop during the Mass of Maundy Thursday: the Chrism, the Oil of the Catechumens, and the Oil of the Sick. These are used in various of the traditional Sacraments. The Newchurch Congregation for Divine Worship has now revealed that in many places the Novus Ordo dying are being anointed by deacons with a totally phony "oil of gladness."
Novus Ordinarians do not get the valid Sacrament of Extreme Unction or a Requiem Mass. This is just one more reason for Catholics to stay completely away from the Novus Ordo. It is death to the soul and sends its people into eternity with no Sacramental grace at all.

Chimps: Not Human, But Are They People?
By Brandon Keim October 14, 2008
As a population of West African chimpanzees dwindles to critically endangered levels, scientists are calling for a definition of personhood that includes our close evolutionary cousins...
... "They are a people. Non-human, but definitely persons," said Deborah Fouts, co-director of the Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute. "They haven't built a rocket ship to the moon. But we're not that different."
Fouts is one of a growing number of scientists and ethicists who believe that chimpanzees — as well as orangutans, bonobos and gorillas, a group colloquially known as great apes — ought to be considered people...
...Some even suggest that chimpanzees and other great apes should be granted human rights. So argued advocates for Hiasl, a chimpanzee caught in an Austrian custody battle, and the framers of an ape rights resolution passed by the Spanish parliament. The question of rights is practically thorny — how could a chimp be held responsible for, say, attacking another chimp? — but the fundamental question isn't practical, but rather scientific and ethical...
