He begins with an invocation of God and statements about God and His relation to mankind and society - the content of which most Christians would agree with in large part...
...Let's look at the situation of the world today:
Iraq was attacked under the false pretext of uncovering weapons of mass destruction and overthrowing a dictator. The dictator is toppled and WMDs are not uncovered. A democratic government is established by the votes of the people but, after 6 years, the occupiers are still there. They insist on imposing colonial agreements on the people of Iraq by keeping them under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter. Millions of people have been killed or displaced, and the occupiers, without a sense of shame, are still seeking to solidify their position in the political geography of the region and to dominate oil resources.
They have no respect for the people of Iraq and disregard any dignity, rights or status for them. The UN is not capable enough to solve the problems and to remove aggression, occupation and imposition.
In Palestine, 60 years of carnage and invasion is still ongoing at the hands of some criminal and occupying Zionists. They have forged a regime through collecting people from various parts of the world and bringing them to other people?s land by displacing, detaining, and killing the true owners of that land.
With advance notice, they invade, assassinate, and maintain food and medicine blockades, while some hegemonic and bullying powers support them. The Security Council cannot do anything and sometimes, under pressure from a few bullying powers, even paves the way for supporting these Zionist murderers. It is natural that some UN resolutions that have addressed the plight of the Palestinian people have been relegated to the archives unnoticed.
In Afghanistan, production of narcotics has multiplied since the presence of NATO forces. Domestic conflicts continue. Terrorism is spreading. And innocent people are bombarded on a daily basis in streets, markets, schools and wedding ceremonies. The people of Afghanistan are the victims of the willingness of NATO member states to dominate the regions surrounding India, China, and South Asia. The Security Council cannot do anything about it because some of these NATO members also happen to be the major decision makers in the Security Council.
In Africa, efforts are made to reestablish the relationships of the colonial era. By starting civil wars in large countries including Sudan, disintegration of those countries is planned in order to serve the interests of some corrupt powers. In case there is a national resistance, the leaders of the resistance are put under pressure by legal mechanisms created by the very same powers.
In Latin America, people find their security, national interests and cultures to be seriously endangered by the menacing shadow of alien domineering governments, and even by the embassies of some empires.
The lives, properties and rights of the people of Georgia and Ossetia and Abkhazia are victims of the tendencies and provocations of NATO and certain western powers, and the underhanded actions of the Zionists.
The never-ending arms race and the proliferation and stockpiling of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction and the threats to use them, and the establishment of missile defense systems, have made the situation unstable.
With regard to Iran's peaceful nuclear program, despite the inalienable right of all nations including the Iranian nation, in producing nuclear fuel for peaceful purposes, and despite such facts as the transparency of all Iranian activities and our country's full cooperation with the inspectors of the IAEA and the Agency's repeated confirmation of the fact that Iran's activities are peaceful, a few bullying powers have sought to put hurdles in the way of the peaceful nuclear activities of the Iranian nation by exerting political and economic pressures against Iran, and also through threatening and pressuring the IAEA.
These are the same powers that produce new generations of lethal nuclear arms and possess stockpiles of nuclear weapons that no international organization is monitoring; and, the tragedies of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were perpetrated by one of them...

Down on Wall Street: What Stories Can You Tell?
"Nothing much will happen Tuesday because of Rosh Hashanah. The House will not be in session until Thursday, so the market will have to go it alone for a couple of days."
Can you imagine this - the US economy is on the verge of a complete collapse - and Congress is off for TWO DAYS for a two-bit jewish holiday!
Remember that less than 2% of the US population is jewish - and our government is partially shutdown for a jewish holiday!
Where are the "atheists"? Why are they not complaining? You see - "atheist" in most cases is a codeword for anti-christian - and pro-jewish.
LBJ and Israel
... Whatever else can be said of Lyndon Johnson, he proved to be a true friend of the Jews and Israel. He proved it as a young lawmaker when, with limited clout and resources, he did everything he could to get as many Jews as possible out of Europe; he proved it as one of Israel's strongest and most important backers in Congress during the Jewish state's early years; and he proved it as president by granting Israel then-unprecedented levels of financial and military aid and by refusing, in marked contrast to Eisenhower's actions after the Suez crisis of 1956, to force unilateral concessions on Israel following the Six-Day War...
...The Kennedy-Johnson Democratic presidential ticket of 1960 was purely a marriage of convenience. Merely disliked by President Kennedy, Johnson was despised by the president's brother...
... Behind the condescension, however, was a very real sense of insecurity. The Kennedy brothers feared Johnson for his political acumen and his intimate relationship with Washington's movers and shakers, particularly FBI director J. Edgar Hoover...
...In its Middle East policy the Kennedy administration made little effort to change the evenhanded approach pursued by its predecessors. As part of an all-out effort to win the affections of Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, Kennedy pushed hard for large increases in aid to Egypt and, in early 1962, following an Israeli retaliatory strike in Syria, instructed his UN ambassador to vote to condemn Israel in the Security Council.
Kennedy also constantly prodded Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion on the issue of Arab refugees - Secretary of State Dean Rusk wanted Israel to agree to take back at least 10 percent of the total number of Arabs who had left Israel since 1948 - and even more so on Israel's nuclear ambitions.
The true scope of Israel's nuclear program was far greater than Ben-Gurion was prepared to let on, and the Israeli government had its hands full as it tried to allay the Kennedy administration's growing unease. When, after much wrangling and delay, the White House finally agreed to sell anti-aircraft missiles to Israel - the first arms deal between the two countries - one of the conditions the U.S. insisted on was that it be allowed to conduct a close inspection of Israel's nuclear facility at Dimona.
The Israeli government finally acquiesced, but inspection of the actual plant was avoided by an elaborate - and costly - sleight of hand. As Israeli journalists Dan Raviv and Yossi Melman describe it, "False walls were erected, doorways and elevators hidden, and dummy installations were built to show the Americans, who found no evidence of the weapons program secreted underground."...
...Once the trauma of Kennedy's assassination in November 1963 began to wear off and Johnson settled in as president, the relationship between the U.S. and Israel quickly soared to new heights. In The Bomb in the Basement, his history of Israel's procurement of nuclear weapons, Israeli author Michael Karpin writes that "as soon as [Johnson] entered the White House the pressure on Israel on the Dimona issue ceased."
And while Kennedy's final budget, for fiscal year 1964, allocated $40 million in aid to Israel, Johnson's first budget, for fiscal year 1965, set aside $71 million - an extraordinary increase of 75 percent. The amount nearly doubled in 1966, to $130 million.
Beyond the numbers, the precise nature and terms of the aid signaled a dramatic break with past American policy. Development loans and surplus food had constituted the extent of U.S. aid under Eisenhower and Kennedy, and the anti-aircraft missiles sold to Israel by the Kennedy administration required a cash payment. Johnson changed all that: Not only did he become the first American president to sell offensive weapons to Israel (the missiles from Kennedy were defensive), but from now on the Israelis would be permitted to buy American arms with American aid money, which meant no funds would have to leave Israel's hard-pressed government coffers.
As a result of the new arrangement, the percentage of American aid to Israel earmarked for
military expenditures rose dramatically, more than tripling between 1965 and 1967. By the middle of 1966, the Israelis were purchasing military hardware the type of which would have been unthinkable under prior administrations, including four-dozen Skyhawk bomber attack planes and more than 200 M-48 tanks (despite the objection of Pentagon officials, who told Johnson they'd prefer Israel buy its tanks from the British or the Germans)...
...One incident that marred Israel's victory and threatened the country's relationship with the U.S. was the deadly attack by Israeli forces on the USS Liberty, an American electronic surveillance ship operating off the Sinai coast. During the assault, which Israel afterward called a terrible mistake, the Liberty was torpedoed and strafed for more than an hour. The final casualty count totaled 34 Americans dead and 171 wounded.
Just how livid the Americans were can be gauged by the reaction of Johnson adviser Clark Clifford, for decades as staunch an advocate of Israel as they came in Washington (and the man chiefly responsible for keeping Harry Truman on a pro-Zionist course in 1947 and '48). Clifford thought "it was inconceivable that [the attack] was an accident" and urged the president to respond to the incident "as if the Arabs or the Russians had done it."
Despite his own doubts about the Israeli version of events, Johnson downplayed the tragedy even as Clifford and several other top aides urged him to at least insist the Israeli government punish those responsible. Israel made a formal apology and paid several million dollars in compensation to the families of the dead Americans, but the U.S.-Israel relationship suffered no significant damage...
This is an amazing compilation of facts - especially considering the source - A Jewish media source. They - the Jews must be completely convinced of a few things to do this:
1. that the American people are two stupid too put the pieces together.
2. The Americans are so complacent that they just don't care.
3. The Americans are afraid of being labeled an "anti-semite" and few if any have the courage to speak up.
4. They know that they have so much power now that resistance is futile - so they are rubbing it in our face.
5. All of the above
This article is strong evidence of why the Kennedy brothers were murdered and shows that Johnson was not loyal to America - but Israel only. The attack on the Liberty and the admitted cover-up is clear evidence of this.

Her Doctrine and Morals
Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost
28 September 2008
Should we have compassion for the ruler in today's Gospel or should we congratulate him? His son whom he dearly loved was at the point of death. This is a most terrible burden upon the shoulders of anyone. To lose a child is such a great sorrow, that it tempts many to question God. We know that "all things work for the good of those who love God", but either we do not really believe it or we perhaps more correctly must question whether we truly love God.
God often takes those we love away from us, but we must never doubt God's goodness. God knows the proper time and place to remove each of us from this world and it is always the best for our eternal souls. Some may be taken before they have the opportunity to offend God and be eternally damned; others may be taken before they have the opportunity to place themselves in a deeper place in Hell. Or perhaps our loved ones may be taken away from us for the benefit of the living. Maybe we become too attached to those whom we love and forget God and this is God's way of drawing us back to Him.
Occasionally there are those who love God to such an extent that this human flesh of ours is no longer strong enough to prevent their souls from uniting themselves to God for all of eternity. Such souls are eager to be untied to God and to be able to shed off this corrupt and corrupting flesh that keeps us in this "valley of tears."
If we will only remember to turn to God in our times of suffering and sadness we will find that He is a loving God. What He takes from us, and we accept in loving obedience to the will of God, He generously repays many times over _ if not in this life at least in the next. Let us not forget the loss of Job and how because of His acceptance of the will of God, his loss was repaid many times over.
The ruler in today's Gospel did not lose his son. This deathly sickness of the boy brought sadness and suffering to the ruler and his family, but it also brought them to Christ for help. Often we are brought to a realization of our helplessness so that we will come with more confidence to God. When we lean upon ourselves we stumble and fall, but when we lean upon God we are eternally strong. "I can do all things in Him who strengthens me."
This is the second miracle that Christ performed in Cana. (The first was the changing of water to wine.) In this miracle He did not go to the boy but healed him from a distance. This miracle demanded of the poor father an act of faith. "The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him." This act of faith on the part of the ruler was itself a miracle and a gift from God. This is the beginning of his faith. Very seldom does God give us everything all at once but we receive His graces in steps or stages. We must cooperate with the graces which we have already been given before we are worthy or ready to receive greater ones. This is the case with the ruler today. His necessity (The deathly illness of his son.) was a grace from God which led him to Christ; Christ telling him that his son lived and he believed Him was the next step in this progress. It is proven that his son was healed at the very time that Christ said his son was healed, and this strengthened this faith. And all this is revealed to the ruler's family and lastly the greatest of all graces: "And he himself believed, and his whole household."
This faith is the greatest of the miracles. All the others are of much less value (Even the earthly life of the boy.) But, each of the graces were important because if any one of them were rejected this last and greatest of graces would never have come about. When we consider things in this light we see that there are no small or unimportant graces. We must be faithful in the little things because it is only by such faithfulness or cooperation with the grace of God that we are given greater graces. All too often we wish to skip over the less important graces in search of greater things of which we are unworthy of or we are unable to bear.
We must plan for the future and constantly strive to do better and to love God even more tomorrow, but we must never lose sight of the present moment. Let us examine ourselves as we find ourselves at this very moment. All that we have and all that we are is a gift from God _ even that which seems so painful and sad. God wishes for us to use this moment to draw closer to Him. If we find suffering in our lives let us call upon Him for relief or strength to bear this burden as we ought. If we find pleasure let us turn to God in praise and thanksgiving for all His goodness and never lose sight of the fact that these pleasures are only a foretaste of the good things He has waiting for us in eternity as long as we never turn away from Him.

Dwight D. Eisenhower, in his memoir Crusade in Europe, failed to mention gas chambers. Was the weapon used to murder millions of Jews unworthy of a passing reference? Was our future president being insensitive to Jews?
In reality Eisenhower was a second rate soldier, he was handpicked by Bernard Baruch, who surrounded him with competent officers. He was behind the firebombing of Dresden, and Hamburg, and allowed the strafing of civilians. He was responsible for 'Operation Keelhaul', and the death camps of German POW's.
Winston Churchill wrote the six volumes of his monumental work, The Second World War, without mentioning a program of mass-murder and genocide. Maybe it slipped his mind.
California Home Prices Drop Record 41% Amid Defaults
By Dan Levy
Sept. 25 (Bloomberg) -- California home prices tumbled a record 41 percent in August from a year earlier as foreclosure sales pushed down values in the most populous U.S. state...
I have seen this coming for years - this blog has warned of this since it began.
I predict that in nearly all housing markets accross the USA you will see homes fall to half what they were selling for in 2005.

ADL Joins Broad Coalition Opposing DC Gun Bill
Washington, DC, September 23, 2008 ... The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has joined with a coalition of religious and civil rights organizations in an effort to stop the Senate's consideration of H.R. 6842, which would endanger the lives of D.C. residents and the millions of people who visit Washington each year.
H.R. 6842 would remove D.C.'s bans on semiautomatic weapons and handgun ammunition, repeal registration requirements, and remove criminal penalties for possession of unregistered firearms. In the few remaining days before recessing, Congress should be working to protect Americans – not to place them in greater danger.
ADL issued the following statement:
The Anti-Defamation League opposes H.R. 6842 and urges the Senate to reject this excessive, punitive legislation.
ADL has long been an advocate for strong, effective and sensible gun control legislation. Gun violence and the caching of dangerous weapons are commonplace among extremists. If states lose the right to regulate firearm ownership, it would help violent bigots in their efforts to create an America based on hate and intolerance.
Like other states, the District of Columbia should be able to enact sensible restrictions designed to make it more difficult for children as well as extremists to acquire and use guns and other dangerous weapons.
gun control legislation only keeps guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens - NOT CRIMINALS - this way criminal Jews will be armed and you won't!

Palin: 'Only Flag in My Office' Is Israeli
By Staff Reporter of the Sun September 26, 2008
President Peres of Israel yesterday met for the first time with Governor Palin and with Senator McCain, who called the veteran Israeli statesman "my old friend." The warm handshake and exchange of broad smiles occurred during an international gathering known as the Clinton Global Initiative, hosted by President Clinton. "I wanted to meet you for many years," Ms. Palin told Mr. Peres, according to an aide to the president. "The only flag at my office is an Israeli flag," she was quoted as saying, "and I want you to know and I want Israelis to know that I am a friend."
The people that support the enemies of Christ are not worthy of the support and vote of anyone who calls themselves Christian!
Even setting aside the religious implications of this - thinking in merely wordly terms - THIS WOMAN IS NOT LOYAL TO THE UNITED STATES!
Watch this video of this puke who says that the United States can never question Israel - note how she invokes the mythical holocau$t!
These jewish mafia members need to be kicked out of this country and should not be allowed to lead us!
If these morons all love Israel so much - they should all be put on a ship and deported. If the Jews are so darn smart - Israel should be the best place on the planet to live - Bush, McCain, Obama, Palin, the Clintons, etc... along with virtually all of Hollywood - should be happy to live in Israel! Oh - don't forget a huge ship for all the morons that claim to follow Christ in these fundamentalist and evangelical bogus churches who actually worship Israel and Jews as gods - they can be deported too!

MADISON, Wis. - The wife and daughter of a Wisconsin man who committed suicide can inherit his estate even if they assisted him in the act, an appeals court ruled Thursday.
A Wisconsin law prevents anyone who "intentionally kills" another from inheriting from the person but the District 4 Court of Appeals said that does not extend to those who assist in suicide.
"A person who assists another in voluntarily and intentionally taking his or her own life is plainly not depriving the other of life," Judge Margaret Vergeront wrote for a unanimous three-judge panel. "We do not agree that 'killer' is commonly understood to mean the person who provides the means that enable another to kill himself or herself."
Wisconsin Right to Life, which opposes assisted suicide, immediately blasted the ruling, saying it gives a financial incentive for people to help relatives die prematurely.
"It's a horrendous decision," said Barbara Lyons, the group's executive director. "It certainly gives impetus to any one who wants more money to assist their loved one who has money with their suicide. I think the implications are enormous."
Boston College Law Professor Ray Madoff, an expert in inheritance law, said she has never heard of a similar ruling in the nation.
"I think this is a significant ruling," she said. "This is something that people have been curious about where the law would draw the line and it's interesting to actually have a case addressing it."...
might be safer to be poor near the end of your life!
Thus, cursed dragon, and you, diabolical legions, we adjure you by the living God, + by the true God, + by the holy God, + by the God "who so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that every soul believing in Him might not perish but have life everlasting" [St. John 3]; stop deceiving human creatures and pouring out to them the poison of eternal damnation; stop harming the Church and hindering her liberty. Begone, Satan, inventor and master of all deceit, enemy of man's salvation. Give place to Christ in Whom you have found none of your works; give place to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church acquired by Christ at the price of His Blood. Stoop beneath the all-powerful Hand of God; tremble and flee when we invoke the Holy and terrible Name of Jesus, this Name which causes Hell to tremble, this Name to which the Virtues, Powers and Dominations of Heaven are humbly submissive, this Name which the Cherubim and Seraphim praise unceasingly repeating: Holy, Holy. Holy is the Lord, the God of Armies.
V. O Lord, hear my prayer.
God of Heaven, God of earth, God of Angels, God of Archangels, God of Patriarchs, God of Prophets, God of Apostles, God of Martyrs, God of Confessors, God of Virgins, God Who has power to give life after death and rest after work, because there is no other God than Thee and there can be no other, for Thou art the Creator of all things, visible and invisible, of Whose reign there shall be no end, we humbly prostrate ourselves before Thy glorious Majesty and we beseech Thee to deliver us by Thy power from all the tyranny of the infernal spirits, from their snares, their lies and their furious wickedness; deign, O Lord, to grant us Thy powerful protection and to keep us safe and sound. We beseech Thee through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen. From the snares of the devil, deliver us, O Lord. That Thy Church may serve Thee in peace and liberty, we beseech Thee to hear us. That Thou may crush down all enemies of Thy Church, we beseech Thee to hear us.

... What we are witnessing today is how empires end. The Last Superpower
is unable to defend its borders, protect its currency, win its wars or balance its budget. Medicare and Social Security are headed for the cliff with unfunded liabilities in the tens of trillions of dollars.
What we are witnessing today is nothing less than a Katrina-like failure of government, of our political class, and of democracy itself, casting a cloud over the viability and longevity of the system...
I disagree with his comments about the "greatest generation" - but I beleive that he is correct that we are indeed witnessing the end of America as we know it.
Regarding the "greatest generation" - I believe that they were the beginning of the end - a generation of faithless fools who put their trust in material things instead of God, who spoiled their children rotten, who abandoned the Catholic Faith, etc... - There is nothing "great" about the WWII generation in my opinion.

A California appeals court has ruled that homeschooling of children is illegal unless their parents have teaching credentials from the state."California is now on the path to being the only state to deny the vast majority of homeschooling parents their fundamental right to teach their own children at home," said Michael Smith, president of the Home School Legal Defense Association.
The court overturned a lower court's finding that homeschooling did not constitute a violation of child welfare laws.
"California courts have held that ... parents do not have a constitutional right to homeschool their children," Justice H. Walter Croskey said. (The California courts do not overrule God who gave PARENTS the responsibility and duty to educate their children!)
The decision stunned parents of the state's roughly 166,000 homeschooled children. While the court claimed that it was merely clarifying an existing law and not making a new one, the decision leaves the parents of homeschooled children at risk of arrest and criminal prosecution."
At first, there was a sense of, 'No way,' " homeschool parent Loren Mavromati said. "Then there was a little bit of fear. I think it has moved now into indignation."
Parents' reasons for homeschooling their children range from religious beliefs to dissatisfaction with the education received at public or private schools. But according to the court, all California children between the ages of 6 and 18 must attend either a full-time public or private school or be taught by a tutor credentialed for their specific grade level.
"A primary purpose of the educational system is to train school children in good citizenship, patriotism and loyalty to the state and the nation," Croskey wrote. (brainwashing....brainwashing...brainwashing - and they claim the Nazi's were bad)
California's largest teachers union welcomed the decision as did the Children's Law Center of Los Angeles. (big surprise there)
According to the law center's executive director, Leslie Heimov, children should not be educated at home, because they need to be "in a place daily where they would be observed by people who had a duty to ensure their ongoing safety."
Naples, Sep 21, 2008 / 03:51 am (CNA).- The blood of Saint Januarius, patron saint of Naples, has reportedly liquefied again in a continuation of the centuries-long miracle.
In Naples’ Cathedral on Wednesday, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, the Archbishop of Naples, held up a vial containing the blood of the third-century saint while a traditional white handkerchief was waved, ANSA reports. The thousands packing the cathedral and the square outside cheered and set off fireworks.
The cardinal said that the blood had apparently liquefied before it was removed from the strongbox in which it is stored.
The dried blood of Saint Januarius, a bishop who was beheaded during a persecution by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in September of 305, traditionally liquefies on the anniversary of his martyrdom. Additionally, it annually liquefies on the Saturday before the first Sunday in May and on the December 16 anniversary of a 1631 eruption of the volcano Mt. Vesuvius, an eruption believed to have been stopped by San Januarius’ intercession.
The liquefaction of the blood can take hours and even days. Some consider its failure to liquefy an omen of looming disaster. After one such failure in 1527, tens of thousands died from the plague. In 1980, 3,000 died in an earthquake which devastated parts of southern Italy.

Bishop Jaime Soto will give keynote address at National Association of Catholic Diocesan Lesbian and Gay Ministries convention
Soon-to-be Bishop of Sacramento Jaime Soto is still listed as keynote speaker for opening night of this year’s National Association of Catholic Diocesan Lesbian and Gay Ministries in Long Beach. Bishop Soto is scheduled to address the group at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18 -- just six weeks before a ceremony at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento in which Soto will take over the diocese from retiring Bishop William Weigand.
The homosexual ministries conference will be held Sept. 18 – 24 aboard the Queen Mary, a decommissioned ocean liner converted into a hotel. The National Association of Catholic Diocesan Lesbian and Gay Ministries, based in Berkeley, is a network of local ministries that has the reputation of taking, at best, an ambiguous stance on the moral character of homosexuality and homosexual acts. The group’s web site, which prominently displays the so-called “rainbow flag” of the homosexual rights movement, says there are chapters of the organization in 36 U.S. states, as well as in at least one Canadian province and in Puerto Rico.
Bishop Soto’s planned speech to the homosexual ministry on Thursday will not be his first. In 2003, he spoke at the National Association of Catholic Diocesan Lesbian and Gay Ministries conference in Palm Springs, though not as one of the major speakers.
The theme of that year’s conference was “Out in the Desert: A Wellspring of Hope.” This year’s theme is, “‘I Am Who I Am By the Grace of God’ (A Voyage of Renewal and Rediscovery).”
This is sooooo satanic - "I Am Who I Am By the Grace of God" - really so these demon infested sick perverts who seek sexual gratification in ways that make demons tremble - are "who they are by the Grace of God"? Who is there god?
And tell me - how can the "Catholic" Church allow an organization such as this to even exist and use the church property and buildings that were designed for the repose of the Blessed Sacrament?
Tell me - would the true Mystical Body of Christ - the Holy Roman Catholic Church - ever knowingly elevate such a pervert as the man in this article to become a Successor of an Apostle?
ONLY A COMPLETE MORON OR SOMEONE SO BLINDED BY SIN THAT THEY CANNOT SEE AT ALL COULD POSSIBLY BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!
Thank the Lord that He has preserved this Little Flock and given the graces we need to the few of us who try to remain Faithful to Him!

above - Sam and his girlfriend Laurel - a great girl btw... they were embarassed to put their arms around each other - if only more kids were that innocent at 18 years of age!
The above photo was taken right after one of the guys from North Carolina smeared some bear blood on her face - she was just a little grossed out by that - I thought this photo captured that well - :)
To top it all off - somehow we got lice in our house! Never in all my life and with all my kids did we ever have head lice - and two of my kids have it now. Which unfortunately means that we could not go to Mass today - I did not want to spread it to anyone else.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Her Doctrine and Morals
21 September 2008
St. Matthew was a tax collector. Tax collectors were despised by the Israelites because they were a constant reminder to them that they were no longer free and independent — they were forced to pay tribute.
And Christ is accused of evil in welcoming such sinners and eating with them.
Christ reminds them that God desires mercy rather than sacrifice.
Most sacrifices are unacceptable to God because those for whom it is offered do not posses or strive for the virtue of mercy.
Mercy is an outward manifestation of love. And love as we already know is the greatest of the commandments. The conclusion seems apparent when we acknowledge the relationship between love and mercy.
Can anyone say that he truly loves if he is lacking in mercy? How can anyone say that he loves his fellow man if he fails to show him mercy in his need? And how can one say that he loves God Whom he cannot see, if he will not love his neighbor whom he can see?
Sacrifice is necessary. Animal sacrifices were mandatory in the Old Testament. And in the New Testament Christ has set aside the sacrifices of the Old Testament and replaced them with a new Sacrifice _ His sacrifice on the Cross and its continual renewal of this Sacrifice in the Sacrifice of the Mass.
When we offer this sacrifice we offer to God our love in adoration, thanksgiving, reparation, and petition. For this Sacrifice to be meritorious for us we must offer it with love. The benefits of the Mass are far too numerous and great for us to wish to constrain them for one purpose. The Mass is offered for the living and the dead. This is an act of mercy _ an act of love.
In the Old Testament the sacrifices were often made devoid of any thought of mercy or love. They degenerated in to a slavish ritual following the letter of the law as opposed to the spirit of the law. With the passage of time the Sacrifice of the Mass appears to have become more of a rote ceremony devoid of the very meaning of mercy and love that are so inherit in the Mass.
As man becomes more selfish and self-centered he looses all concept of mercy and therefore all concept of love. This has become apparent with the Novus Ordo in spite of the fact that they constantly present themselves as concerned for the social welfare of their fellow men. At the bottom of it all we see that they are very shallow and are extremely self-centered. They help their fellow men out of a desire to be praised by them.
The "traditionalists" on the other hand are not much better. Clinging to the letter of the law and ceremonies of the Mass they are indifferent to the spirit of love and mercy that are essential to the Mass. There appear to be no "Christians" that are so hardened and calloused to their fellow men as those who call themselves "traditionalists". The height of hypocrisy — claiming to hold to the true Mass they act in direct opposition to the spirit of the Mass. At least the Novus Ordo had the decency to develop a new ceremony that replaces the Mass and is more in keeping with their shallow self-indulgent "spirituality".
Mercy is the supreme act of sacrifice because when we practice mercy we sacrifice our own self will. We give up of our time, energy, money, etc. but also we give of our very being to help someone in need. We do this not from a motive of being repaid whether monetarily or in honors, but solely for the love of God and therefore for the love of our neighbor. It is comparatively easy offer someone that which we do not want or need, but to truly show mercy we give of that which is most necessary _ ourselves.
Mercy demands that we inconvenience ourselves _ that we make a sacrifice of ourselves. And at the same time mercy demands that we do not count the cost. We make this sacrifice willingly and cheerfully because it is essentially an act of love. This is why Christ has come to us _ to show us mercy. And this is what Christ demands of us who seek to follow Him and be with Him for all of eternity.

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- Speakers invited to attend a Vatican-sponsored congress on the evolution debate will not include proponents of creationism and intelligent design, organizers said.
The Pontifical Council for Culture, Rome's Pontifical Gregorian University and the University of Notre Dame in Indiana are organizing an international conference in Rome March 3-7 as one of a series of events marking the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin's "The Origin of Species."
Jesuit Father Marc Leclerc, a philosophy professor at the Gregorian, told Catholic News Service Sept. 16 that organizers "wanted to create a conference that was strictly scientific" and that discussed rational philosophy and theology along with the latest scientific discoveries...
This is another fine example of how Novus Ordo heretics and apostates will have no excuse on Judgement Day! This is more proof that the Vatican II Church is of satan!
Remember the 50 million Nazi documents that were kept secret? They have amazing details of the camps, such as the numbers of lice removed from the prisoners. The Jews want us to believe that the Nazis were insane statisticians, but it all makes sense when you consider the Nazis were trying to keep the prisoners alive, and that every prison keeps similar records. How much longer are we going to let these Jews get away with the HoloHoax?
Joseph Landry and Brian Sherwood were arrested in the Basilica of the Assumption in Baltimore and jailed for passing out anti-abortion literature after Mess. They were described as "peaceful and respectful." As laymen around the United States plan to hand out anti-abortion literature at Newchurch cathedrals across the nation, more bishops are expected to have Newchurch arrested for upholding the Catholic teachings that the bishops themselves are not. In 2007 O'Brien was involved in a scandal Newchurch when, as U.S. Newchurch Military Chaplain, he vetoed Newchurch chaplains from saying specifically Catholic prayers. The issue came to a head when a Newchurch presbyter was ordered not to preach to his congregation against partial-birth abortion because it would have an "adverse effect on unit cohesion."
Mystic, born 17 June, 1603; died at Osimo 18 September, 1663; feast, 18 September. Joseph received his surname from Cupertino, a small village in the Diocese of Nardò, lying between Brindisi and Otranto in the Kingdom of Naples.
His life was now one long succession of visions and other heavenly favours. Everything that in any way had reference to God or holy things would bring on an ecstatic state: the sound of a bell or of church music, the mention of the name of God or of the Blessed Virgin or of a saint, any event in the life of Christ, the sacred Passion, a holy picture, the thought of the glory in heaven, all would put Joseph into contemplation. Neither dragging him about, buffeting, piercing with needles, nor even burning his flesh with candles would have any effect on him -- only the voice of his superior would make him obey. These conditions would occur at any time or place, especially at Mass or during Divine Service. Frequently he would be raised from his feet and remain suspended in the air. Besides he would at times hear heavenly music. Since such occurrences in public caused much admiration and also disturbance in a community, Joseph for thirty-five years was not allowed to attend choir, go to the common refectory, walk in procession or say Mass in church, but was ordered to remain in his room, where a private chapel was prepared for him. Evil-minded and envious men even brought him before the Inquisition, and he was sent from one lonely house of the Capuchins or Franciscans to another, but Joseph retained his resigned and joyous spirit, submitting confidently to Divine Providence. He practised mortification and fasting to such a degree, that he kept seven Lents of forty days each year, and during many of them tasted no food except on Thursdays and Sundays. His body is in the church at Osimo. He was beatified by Benedict XIV in 1753, and canonized 16 July 1767 by Clement XIII; Clement XIV extended his office to the entire Church.

SCIENTISTS have discovered that going veggie could be bad for your brain - with those on a meat-free diet six times more likely to suffer brain shrinkage.
Vegans and vegetarians — such as Heather Mills — are the most likely to be deficient because the best sources of the vitamin are meat, particularly liver, milk and fish.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can also cause anaemia and inflammation of the nervous system.
Yeast extracts are one of the few vegetarian foods which provide good levels of the vitamin.
The link was discovered by Oxford University scientists who used memory tests, physical checks and brain scans to examine 107 people between the ages of 61 and 87.
When the volunteers were retested five years later the medics found those with the lowest levels of vitamin B12 were also the most likely to have brain shrinkage. It confirms earlier research showing a link between brain atrophy and low levels of B12...
I certainly did not need this study to show me that vegetarians have small brains!
