Only the Catholic Church is the Body of Christ … Outside this body, no one is animated by the Holy Spirit.

St. Augustine of Hippo (354-430AD) on the Church

Lord, teach me to be generous.

Teach me to serve you as you deserve;

to give and not count the cost;

to fight and not heed the wounds;

to toil and not seek for rest;

to labor and not ask for reward,

except to knowthat I am doing Your will.

Vatican official calls liturgical renewal 'irreversible path'
By John Thavis
Catholic News Service

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- Liturgical renewal launched by the Second Vatican Council is an "irreversible path" and has not been affected by Pope Benedict XVI's concession on wider use of the Tridentine rite, a Vatican official said.

"The pope's decision has so far not produced any change in the celebrative practice of our ecclesial communities. His gesture was only one of service to unity," Archbishop Piero Marini, who arranged papal liturgies for more than 20 years, said in an interview April 25 in the Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano."Therefore let's look ahead and let's continue with enthusiasm the path undertaken by the council," he said.

Late last year Archbishop Marini was named to head the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses. The archbishop remains involved in international liturgical issues, and he said a revision of the committee's statutes is giving it wider authority over eucharistic congresses at the national and regional level, too.

Asked if Pope Benedict's relaxation of restrictions on the use of the pre-Vatican II liturgy signaled a halt to the liturgical reform movement, Archbishop Marini said that was clearly not the pope's aim.The pope's decree "does not intend to introduce modifications on the current Roman Missal or express a negative judgment on the liturgical reform desired by the council," he said.

He said the decree, which reached out to disaffected Catholics, should be seen as an effort to maintain unity in the church.Archbishop Marini said his own experience in organizing papal liturgies in more than 100 countries has convinced him that the liturgical reform movement has brought overwhelmingly positive results."Everywhere, the liturgy desired by the council was celebrated with lively participation and enthusiasm. Everyone understood the liturgy as proper to the local church and at the same time as an expression of the universal church," he said. Those liturgies also demonstrated that liturgical reform has solid theological foundations, he said.
"Therefore this is an irreversible path," he said.

Liturgical celebration cannot be separated from the life of the church, the archbishop said, and this means "the church of today, not the church of yesterday or of tomorrow."

Funny thing, I thought Jesus was the same - yesterday, today and tomorrow. Here you have the hierarchy of this heretical bogus ordo ADMITTING that they are not the church of Our Lord!!!

Mary is the stem of the beautiful flower on which the Holy Spirit rests with the fullness of His gifts. Hence, those who want to obtain the seven gifts of the Spirit must seek the flower of the Holy Spirit on the stem [Mary].

Ron Paul has a novel idea

He wants to set up a publishing company with his unused campaign donations, and may sell his list of donors. Will this help his supporters realize that they were suckers? If you can't figure out who to trust, you're going to lose in this battle of intelligence

The salvation of the whole world began with the "Hail Mary." Hence, the salvation of each person is also attached to this prayer.

St. Louis Grignion de Montfort (1673-1716AD)

It's that time of year again. I will be gone hunting wild turkey for a week.
I will be gone from Tuesday April 29 - Sunday May 4. I have a second season to hunt from May 14 - 18 and will be gone during those dates as well - that season I hope to let the air out of a gobbler with a well placed arrow!
There is something awesome being out in the wild at sunrise praying the Rosary waiting for the turkey to wake up and start flying down from their roosts.
I hate to sound like these nature worshippers, but being in the wild among God's creation at least once in a while seems to revive the spirit.

In the long war on the truth, the most formidable, relentless and deceptive enemy has been Roman Catholicism. It is an apostate, corrupt, heretical, false Christianity, it is a front for the kingdom of Satan. The true church of the Lord Jesus Christ has always understood this.
- John MacArthur

This is what the fundies truly think of God's Holy Church . John MacArthur is one of their " heretic heroes"and someday he will eat these words unless he (they) accepts the grace which God has offered to all men.

Yes, our enemy is heresy and evil and they are the epitome of that evil. They lead souls to hell with their false "just believe and you will be saved" preaching! We could actually turn this statement around and change the words "Roman Catholicism" to "Protestantism" and we would heartily agree!

They are becoming more and more bold in their protests against the true Church of Christ and so we too must not be afraid to stand up and shout from the rooftops: THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THE ONE TRUE CHURCH OUTSIDE OF WHICH THERE IS NO SALVATION!

Massachusetts Police Get Black Uniforms to Instill Sense of 'Fear'

Thursday, April 24, 2008,2933,352471,00.html

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Springfield's men in black are returning.
The city's new police commissioner, William Fitchet, says members of the department's Street Crime Unit will again don black, military-style uniforms as part of his strategy to deal with youth violence.

Fitchet's predecessor, Edward Flynn, had ditched the black attire as part of an effort to soften the image of the unit. Flynn left Springfield in January to become the police chief in Milwaukee.

Sgt. John Delaney told a city council hearing Wednesday that the stark uniforms send a message to criminals that officers are serious about making arrests.

Delaney said a sense of "fear" has been missing for the past few years.

I seem to remember a time when the role of a Police Officer was: "To Protect and Serve".

Now they have to instill a sense of fear!

Her Doctrine and Morals
Fifth Sunday after Easter
27 April 2008

Epistle: James 1:22-27:

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if a man be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he shall be compared to a man beholding his own countenance in a glass. 24 For he beheld himself, and went his way, and presently forgot what manner of man he was. 25 But he that hath looked into the perfect law of liberty, and hath continued therein, not becoming a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work; this man shall be blessed in his deed. 26 And if any man think himself to be religious, not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his own heart, this man's religion is vain. 27 Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

Gospel: John 16:23-30:

23 And in that day you shall not ask me any thing. Amen, amen I say to you: if you ask the Father any thing in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto you have not asked any thing in my name. Ask, and you shall receive; that your joy may be full. 25 These things I have spoken to you in proverbs. The hour cometh, when I will no more speak to you in proverbs, but will show you plainly of the Father. 26 In that day you shall ask in my name; and I say not to you, that I will ask the Father for you: 27 For the Father himself loveth you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and I go to the Father. 29 His disciples say to him: Behold, now thou speakest plainly, and speakest no proverb. 30 Now we know that thou knowest all things, and thou needest not that any man should ask thee. By this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

The Sunday
Dear Friend,
It has been said that the evils of society may be laid directly at the feet of lax Catholics. Christ has promised us that anything we ask the Father in His name, He will grant it to us. If so many evils in the world today are present and so many souls are being lost, who are to blame? Do not those who have the true Faith have an obligation to pray for those who do not? Are not souls being lost every day because no one asked God for the grace of their conversions?
Granted that we are in the Great Apostasy and that there is no turning back, it is certain that we do not have to be a part of it or contribute to it. What is it that God asks or demands of us in order to save our own souls? Are there not perhaps souls that were to be saved by the prayers, sacrifices and petitions of Catholics that are now suffering for all eternity in the flames of Hell? How many souls could Catholics have saved from the fires of Hell by gaining extra graces for their fellow men? Can Catholics who fail to assist in the salvation of others be saved themselves?
All too often we tend to think that the work of converting people only belongs to the missionaries. The work of the missionaries is important, but even the missionaries themselves have told us that they could only accomplish what they did because of the prayers, sacrifices and penances of so many religious constantly imploring God's grace for this end.
In this Great Apostasy where are all the missionaries, religious, and priests? There are very few. And why should there be so very few? Is it not because vocations were not fostered by the prayers of parents, relatives and friends?
None of us is an island. We are all interdependent upon each other. There is a reason why God has allowed each and every person who has come into our lives to be there. Have we done our part? Have we given a good example, encouraged, prayed, and offered sacrifices for the salvation of our family, friends, and neighbors?
This year is 2008 and it has been forty years ago (1968) that the new rite of ordination was universally implemented in the Novus Ordo Church. We hold that with this new rite of ordination there were no longer any valid ordinations in the Novus Ordo. The ramifications of this are truly apocalyptic. If these men are not priests it does not matter what ceremonies, or rites they may perform as they can under no circumstances offer the true Mass. They cannot consecrate the Body of Christ nor can they absolve the poor sinners of their sins. With just a little thought on our part we can begin to see how broad and deep this evil is.
This could only have happened because we had become lax! But, let us not look back from this date but forward. What happened after the source of God's grace was taken from us? Here in the US we see that we began to allow people to "legally" murder their unborn children soon after this (Roe vs Wade _ Jan 22, 1973). We saw the wider use of divorce (no fault divorce), the acceptance of "alternative" lifestyles (sodomy), "anti-hate" laws, "anti-terrorism" laws etc. What lays ahead, euthanasia, bestiality, a completely Godless and freedom-less society? Remember that freedom is a gift from God not the state. The state recognizes it as a right (God given). In the liberalization (demoralization) of our society, we have been loosing all true freedom at an alarming pace.
Again, we must lay the evils of society at the feet of lax Catholics. Have we been as faithful in our petitions to God our Father as we should have been? He has said ask and you shall receive! Non Catholics do not have this power because they cannot ask in the name of Jesus Christ. They cannot ask in His name because they do not believe in Him. Many have created a new "Jesus Christ" in their own image and likeness and they may ask in the name of their new "Jesus Christ" but they cannot ask in the name of the true Jesus Christ because they do not know Him, and logically if they do not know the Son they cannot know the Father. This leaves everything up to those with the true Faith. We are the ones who must pray without ceasing, and offer our sacrifices and penances for the rest.
We can not turn back the Great Apostasy, but we can refuse to be promoters of it. We can and must do all that we are capable of in saving ourselves and those we love from this terrible darkness. And yet it is so simple "Ask and you shall receive."

Parents warned of 'hate speech' during 'gay' promoPrincipal says support for homosexuality approved, but 'condemnation' banned
Posted: April 25, 200812:10 am Eastern

Mass Resistance says hundreds of these pro-"gay" shirts have been distributed free to students in Massachusetts schools on the "Day of Silence"

A principal in a Massachusetts school district with a well-established reputation of promoting homosexuality to students has written to parents to tell them distributing "religious materials" during the school's annual observance of the pro-homosexual "Day of Silence" is not appropriate.

The letter from Michael Jones of Lexington, Mass., High School also confirms "hate speech" is "subject to legal constraints" and messages communicated through slogan T-shirts, buttons or stickers that express "condemnation" are "discouraged." Students with such a message will be counseled by school officials to meet the guidelines of the school handbook, he wrote.

However, groups that have been given his approval are allowed to hand out promotional materials to others and positive messages about the "Day of Silence" such as "Vocal Supporter" and "Silent Supporter" fall under free speech guidelines, Jones said.

The "Day of Silence" is a promotion intended, ostensibly, to make students "aware" of the "discrimination" suffered by homosexuals in society, by having students and teachers remain silent for the day. Such events typically are organized by a school's "Gay-Straight Alliance" group, but the event has been promoted throughout its existence by the special interest group, the massively funded Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network

The event is being recognized tomorrow in many school districts around the nation, although in Massachusetts schools are scheduling the promotion on April 30 because of other school calendar issues...
Study says near extinction threatened people 70,00 years ago

By RANDOLPH E. SCHMID, AP Science Writer Thu Apr 24, 6:17 PM ET

WASHINGTON - Human beings may have had a brush with extinction 70,000 years ago, an extensive genetic study suggests. The human population at that time was reduced to small isolated groups in Africa, apparently because of drought, according to an analysis released Thursday.

The report notes that a separate study by researchers at Stanford University estimated the number of early humans may have shrunk as low as 2,000 before numbers began to expand again in the early Stone Age...

The study is basically accurate - they just have a few errors in their calculations and assumptions.

1. I happened about 4000 years ago - not 70,000.

2. It was not due to a drought, rather a worldwide flood.

3. The human population did not shrink to 2000 - it shrunk to 8.

Just think - they could have figured all this out without thousands and thousands of dollars and hours of research - they just had to open the book of Genesis.

Saint Peter, the first Pope, warned us of the days we live in:

2 Peter 3:3-6

"Knowing this first: That in the last days there shall come deceitful scoffers, walking after their own lusts, "Saying: Where is his promise or his coming? For since the time that the fathers slept, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they are wilfully ignorant of: That the heavens were before, and the earth out of water and through water, consisting by the word of God: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished."

St. Peter is telling us that in the last days people will be liars and scoff at the Catholic Faith and that they will be WILFULLY IGNORANT OF THE FLOOD!

Anne Frank Christmas Card discovered??????

Last I heard - Anne Frank was a Jew!

Time makes ancient truth uncouth as they say and much of the myth of Ann Frank is starting to unravel. Portions of the original diary were written in ball point pen, an instrument not available in wartime Amsterdam. In 1980, as part of a lawsuit by Otto Frank, Ann's father (who has become rich from the diary) the German Federal Criminal Investigation Bureau (BKA) concluded that portions of the diary had been written after 1951, immediatly prior to publication. Consistent with that conclusion, a New York Jury ordered Otto Frank to pay writer Meyer Levin $50,000 for Levin's work on the diary. The judge later set the award aside, and the litigants settled out of court.

Given the embarrassments regarding "Misha", "Fragments", "Stolen Soul", etc. it may be that the Ann Frank Diary, rather than the "Painted Bird" deserves the title of the first Holocaust Literary Hoax

Is this our future? Boston Children's Hospital doctor operates clinic to change gender of prepubescent children - featured in Boston Globe.
Given powerful hormones to delay puberty, for body mutilation operations later :

Let us work hard every day at making progress toward God. If we are tested or tempted in our children or in our purses, let's not panic but place our hope in God.

We are Christians, and our homeland is not here. Like good children, let us turn our steps homeward, that our course may be approved and guided to its conclusion.

"Papal" Youth Concert in New York...

This is is why the fools who are rushing to the gates of hell in the novus ordo will have no excuse for their heresy in following these anti-popes.

The above photos are from the wordly, immodest, and sexual performer - Kelly Clarkson at the Papal Youth Day concert in New York. The blue immodest dress was from her performance right in front of the "pope" singing Ave Maria - the skin tight jean and sleeveless shirt are from her singing her worldly song "Since you've been gone" - lyrics can be found at: -

hardly Christian!

I apologize for the immodest photos - but to get the point across i felt they were needed.
Genocide Announced: Rabbi Calls for Mass Killing

Saleh Al-Naami -- Al Ahram (Egypt)

"All of the Palestinians must be killed; men, women, infants, and even their beasts." This was the religious opinion issued one week ago by Rabbi Yisrael Rosen, director of the Tsomet Institute, a long-established religious institute attended by students and soldiers in the Israeli settlements of the West Bank. In an article published by numerous religious Israeli newspapers two weeks ago and run by the liberal Haaretz on March 26, Rosen asserted that there is evidence in the Torah to justify this stand.
Widespread Rape of US Servicewomen in Iraq

Jane Harman -- Los Angeles Times

The stories are shocking in their simplicity and brutality: A female military recruit is pinned down at knifepoint and raped repeatedly in her own barracks ... These are true stories, and, sadly, not isolated incidents. Women serving in the U.S. military are more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire in Iraq ... Doctors told me that 41 percent of female veterans seen at the clinic say they ere victims of sexual assault while in the military, and 29 percent report being raped during their military service.
The "chosen ones" are at it again...just remember - the evangelicals and novus ordoites want you to believe that these are your "elder brothers" in the faith!

Director of "Basic Instinct" writes book contradicting biblical teachings
By TOBY STERLING Associated Press Writer

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) -- "Basic Instinct" director Paul Verhoeven has written a book that contradicts biblical teaching by suggesting that Jesus might have been fathered by a Roman soldier who raped Mary. (the same lie that the Talmud and Jews have taught for nearly 2000 years)

An Amsterdam publishing house said Wednesday it will publish the Dutch filmmaker's biography of Jesus, "Jesus of Nazareth: A Realistic Portrait," in September. (realistic? according to satan maybe)

Verhoeven is best known as the director of blockbuster films including "Basic Instinct" and "RoboCop," but he is also a member of "Jesus Seminar," a group of scholars and authors that seeks to establish historical facts about Jesus. (horribly violent and sexual films - typical of jews)

Marianna Sterk of the publishing house J.M. Meulenhoff said the book includes several ideas that run contrary to Christian faith, including the suggestion that Jesus could be the son of a Roman soldier who raped Mary during a Jewish uprising against Roman rule in 4 B.C. (no kidding - but they fit perfectly with the lies of Judaism)

The book also claims that Judas Iscariot was not responsible for Jesus' betrayal, she said. (Have to make Judas the good guy ya know)

The movie director's claims were greeted with some skepticism among those who have dedicated their careers to studying the life of Jesus. One issue is that there is very little information about the life of Jesus outside of the Gospels. The Gospels as understood by Christians for nearly 2,000 years do not support Verhoeven's ideas. (what a revelation - there is no information about Jesus' life outside of the Gospels - which have proven themselves to be totally reliable)

William Portier, a professor of religious studies at the University of Dayton, in Ohio, said the Jesus Seminar is known for making provocative claims, but "they are real scholars - you have to deal with them." (and just who defines who is a "real scholar" and who is not?)

However, he said Verhoeven's ideas sounded "pretty out there."

John Dominic Crossan, a Jesus Seminar founder, agreed. He said that while Verhoeven was a member in good standing, there is little evidence for the view that Jesus was illegitimate. (how about NO EVIDENCE AT ALL - but why would that stop them)

Crossan said the claim is first reported in a polemic written in the second century against the Book of Matthew, intended for a Jewish audience. (like I said- that is a jewish lie)

"It's an obvious first retort to claims that Mary was a virgin," Crossan said. "If you wanted to do a hatchet job on Jesus' reputation, this would be the way." (hmmm - they admit it)

The most likely scenario for people who don't accept that Jesus was literally the son of God and had no human father is simply that he was the son of Joseph, Crossan said.

Sterk said the book will be translated into English in 2009. Verhoeven hopes it will be a springboard for him to raise interest in making a film along the same lines, she said. (Oh they will certainly make a film about this - without a doubt the jews in hollywood will do whatever it takes to promote lies against our Lord and Savior)

Verhoeven, 69, has dreamed of making a movie about Jesus' life for decades, she said. (Dreamed of attacking Christ for decades - hmmm)

Asked whether it would be difficult to follow Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" and Martin Scorsese's "The Last Temptation of Christ," she said Verhoeven knows he may be somewhat late to market.

"He is painfully aware of that," she said. "However, he has quite a different angle." (too bad we can't burn people like these creeps at the stake!)
Spy finally arrested after 20 years

Why arrest him now? Are some US officials starting to rebel against their Jewish masters?
This is hysterical - the Jews are trying anything and everything to take the focus away from the fact that Israel was behind the 9/11 attacks!

Christian leaders offering a confusing witness on torture

Published: Friday, April 18, 2008 8:54 AM CDT

Dr. James Dobson, founder of Focus On The Family, has criticized Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain’s opposition to the U.S. government’s use of torture.

That’s right. Supporting torture appears to be an important issue for Dobson and many of the Christian Right. Dobson’s radio broadcasts, heard locally, have for years faithfully relayed information useful to families and the challenge of Christian living. Where does torture fit into such programs?

In an exclusive with the Wall Street Journal published April 2, Dobson did not explain his approval of torture or how it relates to the Christian life. “How he contorts Christian theology to justify [this] is a puzzle,” writes Robert Parham of

If this pro-torture stand was Dobson’s alone, there would be little attention paid to it. But last month an ethics professor, Daniel R. Heimback, at Southeastern Baptist Seminary, favors torture much as Dobson does. The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) leaders also favor torture.

A Baptist Press (BP) release reported that to oppose torture “threatens to undermine Christian moral witness in contemporary culture.” They went on to say that situation ethics necessitates that sometimes torture is the right thing to do...
Here is the sick mind of a pro-abortionist:

For whoever finds me finds life and receives salvation from the Lord. But whoever does not find me hurts himself. They love death who hate me. Proverbs 8:35-36
In the order of grace, God usually communicates Himself to human beings only through Mary. If we want to go to Him and be united with Him, we must use the very means he used to come down to us. That means is a true devotion to our Lady.

Brazil priest vanishes on balloon flight

SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) — A Roman Catholic priest who floated off under hundreds of helium party balloons was missing Monday off the southern coast of Brazil.
Rescuers in helicopters and small fishing boats were searching off the coast of Santa Catarina state, where pieces of balloons were found.
Rev. Adelir Antonio de Carli lifted off from the port city of Paranagua on Sunday afternoon, wearing a helmet, thermal suit and a parachute.
He was reported missing about eight hours later after losing contact with port authority officials, according to the treasurer of his Sao Cristovao parish, Denise Gallas.
Gallas said by telephone that the priest wanted to break a 19-hour record for the most hours flying with balloons to raise money for a spiritual rest-stop for truckers in Paranagua, Brazil's second-largest port for agricultural products.
Some American adventurers have used helium balloons to emulate Larry Walters — who in 1982 rose three miles above Los Angeles in a lawn chair lifted by balloons.
A video of Carli posted on the G1 Web site of Globo TV showed the smiling 41-year-old priest slipping into a flight suit, being strapped to a seat attached to a huge column green, red, white and yellow balloons, and soaring into the air to the cheers of a crowd.
According to Gallas, the priest soared to an altitude of 20,000 feet (6,000 meters) then descended to about 8,200 feet (2,500 meters) for his planned flight to the city of Dourados, 465 miles (750 kilometers) northwest of his parish.
But winds pushed him in another direction, and Carli was some 30 miles (50 kilometers) off the coast when he last contacted Paranagua's port authority, Gallas said.
Carli had a GPS device, a satellite phone, a buoyant chair and is an experienced skydiver, Gallas said.
"We are absolutely confident he will be found alive and well, floating somewhere in the ocean," she said.
"He knew what he was doing and was fully prepared for any kind of mishap."

NY Paper Reports Food Rationing Appearing In US
April 21, 2008 10:39 AM CDT

OMAHA (KPTM) - Food shortages and rationing has been a third-world problem as of late, but recently, the phenomenon once thought unthinkable in the United States could start happening.

The New York Sun newspaper is reporting that major retailers on both coasts are limiting customers' purchases of flour, rice and cooking oil.

The Sun reports that a Costco Warehouse in California ran out of rice, frustrating shoppers.
"Where's the rice?" an engineer from Palo Alto, Calif., Yajun Liu, said. "You should be able to buy something like rice. This is ridiculous."

The rice that is left is selling at near one dollar a pound, and in some areas, customers report paying about $30 for a 25-pound bag.

Most Costco members were only allowed to buy only one bag. One clerk reportedly dropped two sacks back on the stack after taking them from a customer who tried to buy more than the one bag limit.

"Due to the limited availability of rice, we are limiting rice purchases based on your prior purchasing history," a sign above the dwindling supply said, the Sun reports.
Shoppers said the limits had been in place for a few days, and that rice supplies had been spotty for a few weeks. A store manager referred questions to officials at Costco headquarters near Seattle, who did not return calls or e-mail messages to the Sun.

A New York Costco reportedly was not restricting rice, but is limiting oil and flour. Rumors floating on the Internet say that bakery owners bought up flour at warehouse stores after their commercial suppliers doubled their prices.

Spiking food prices have led to riots in recent weeks in Haiti, Indonesia, and several African nations. India recently banned export of all but the highest quality rice, and Vietnam blocked the signing of a new contract for foreign rice sales.

The price of rice futures reached record highs in recent days, after skyrocketing over the past two months. The price of wheat in the futures market has been down.

The paper reports that there have been rumors of some buying limits at Sam's Club warehouses, owned by Wal-mart, but the company says it is not aware of any shortages or limits.

Now observe, my daughter, the contrast between the luxurious dress of many women and the raiment and adornments of Jesus....Tell me: what relation do their fine shoes bear to the spikes in Jesus' feet? The rings on their hands to the nails which perforated His? The fashionable coiffure to the crown of thorns? The painted face to That covered with bruises? Shoulders exposed by the low-cut gown to His, all striped with blood? Ah, but there is a marked likeness between these worldly women and the Jews who, incited by the devil, scourged Our Lord!
"At the hour of such a woman's death I think Jesus will be heard asking: 'Cujos est imago haec et circumspecto—Of whom is she the image?' And the reply will be: "Demonii—of the devil.' Then He will say: 'Let her who has followed the devil's fashions be handed over to him; and to God, those who have imitated the modesty of Jesus and Mary.' " -St. Anthony Mary Claret

My sister, my spouse, is a garden enclosed, an enclosed garden, a fountain sealed up.
Song of Solomon 4:12
Happy are those to whom the Holy Spirit reveals the Secret of Mary in order that they may come to know her.
Happy are those to whom He opens the "Enclosed Garden" that they may enter and to whom He gives access to the "Sealed Fountain" that they may drink of the living waters of grace.

Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop or by one whom he ordains [i.e., a presbyter]. On the Number of Sins Beyond Which God Pardons No More
By St. Alphonsus De Liguori

"...Hence, according to St. Chrysostom, God is more to be feared when He bears with sinners, than when He instantly punishes their sin. And why? Because, says St. Gregory, they to whom God has shown most mercy shall, if they do not cease to offend Him, be chastised with the greatest rigor. The saint adds that God often punishes such sinners with a sudden death, and does not allow them time for repentance. And the greater the light which God gives to certain sinners for their correction, the greater is their blindness and obstinacy in sin. 'For it had been better for them not to have known the way of justice, than, after they had known it, to turn back' (II Pet. 2:21). Miserable the sinners, who, after having been enlightened, return to the vomit. St. Paul says, that it is morally impossible for them to be again converted. 'For it is impossible for those who were once illuminated-have tasted also the Heavenly gifts... and are fallen away, to be renewed again to penance' (Heb. 6:4, 6).
...God waits with patience until a certain number of sins is committed but, when the measure of guilt is filled up, He waits no longer... God has promised pardon to all who repent; but He has not promised to wait until tomorrow for those who insult Him...He numbers the graces which He dispenses, as well as the sins which (we) commit. Hence, when the time which He has fixed arrives, God deprives us of His graces, and begins to inflict chastisement. I intend to show in this discourse that when sins reach a certain number, God pardons no more. Be attentive. ..."

The apostate angels taught us to paint the eyes with blackness drawn round them in a circle, and to stain the checks with a deceitful red, and to change the hair with false colors, and to mask all truth about the real appearance of face and head….
God says, "Let us make man in our image and likeness"; does anyone dare to alter and change what God has made? They are laying hands on God when they try to reform what He has formed.

Bush and pope prayed together for family
Wed Apr 16, 2008 6:12pm EDT

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Pope Benedict and U.S. President George W. Bush and his wife Laura prayed together in the White House on Wednesday, the Vatican said.
Vatican spokesman Rev. Federico Lombardi said that the "brief prayer" took place after the pope and Bush had finished their private talks in the Oval Office and Laura Bush joined them.
"There was a brief prayer for the family (as an institution)," Lombardi said.
Bush is a Methodist. Both he and the Roman Catholic pope have said that the traditional family, based on the marriage of a man and a woman, is under threat.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Twice-divorced former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani took Communion at a Mass celebrated by Pope Benedict on Saturday, breaching rules that bar those who remarry outside the Church from doing so.
As he left New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral with his third wife, Judith, the failed presidential candidate confirmed to Reuters that he took Communion from a priest.
Asked if he was uncomfortable with having broken the Church ban on the divorced and remarried taking Communion, Giuliani said, "No."

Epistle: James 1:17-21

17 Every best gift, and every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of alteration. 18 For of his own will hath he begotten us by the word of truth, that we might be some beginning of his creatures. 19 You know, my dearest brethren. And let every man be swift to hear, but slow to speak, and slow to anger. 20 For the anger of man worketh not the justice of God.
21 Wherefore casting away all uncleanness, and abundance of naughtiness, with meekness receive the ingrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Gospel: John: 16: 5-14

5 But I told you not these things from the beginning, because I was with you. And now I go to him that sent me, and none of you asketh me: Whither goest thou?
6 But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow hath filled your heart. 7 But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 And when he is come, he will convince the world of sin, and of justice, and of judgment. 9 Of sin: because they believed not in me. 10 And of justice: because I go to the Father; and you shall see me no longer.
11 And of judgment: because the prince of this world is already judged. 12 I have yet many things to say to you: but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will teach you all truth. For he shall not speak of himself; but what things soever he shall hear, he shall speak; and the things that are to come, he shall show you. 14 He shall glorify me; because he shall receive of mine, and shall show it to you.

Dear Friend,
Again, our Holy Mother the Church places before us part of Our Lord's farewell address in today's Gospel for our consideration. The hearers of this address are saddened by Our Lord's words, but He tells us "It is expedient to you that I go."

It is expedient that we should have a mixture of joys and sorrows while we reside in this earth. Just as Jacob gave Joseph a variegated coat so God gives us a variegated life, interwoven with happy and unhappy events. Suffering and sorrows are much more beneficial to us than we can imagine when we cooperate with the grace of God. They are often better for us than earthly pleasures and joys.

Temporal happiness is truly contemptible when we consider its source. Where do precious stones and metals come from? They are formed in the earth. From what is fine clothing made? These come from the skin, wool, or fur of an animal or even the production of worms. Have we ever stopped to consider the source of the finest of foods that we eat? It all comes from contemptible sources. What of all the honors and dignities that the world offers? Are they not just like a vapor that vanishes soon after it appears? All the joys and pleasures that this world has to offer are far beneath the dignity of an immortal soul. They are so far distant that the saints would say that they are unworthy of all the value that the world places upon them.

King Solomon was in a position to have whatever he wanted in this world, and he repeatedly confesses in spite of all this, that he was not satisfied: "I saw in all things vanity and vexation of mind".

How wise and powerful was Alphonsus, king of Sicily, Naples and Arragon! No one seemed to be happier than he, and yet he said that asses are happier than kings, because they are unharnessed at least whilst they are fed, whilst kings have no rest.

When Charles V at Brussels resigned the empire in favor of his son, with tears in his eyes he confessed before the dignitaries of the state that during the whole period of his reign he had not had a quarter of an hour which he could say was spent joyfully.

King Antigonus assured his son that the royal dignity is nothing but glittering slavery, and if we knew with what cares and troubles royalty is surrounded, we should not wish for a crown.
What is commonly considered human happiness should be despised rather than sought after.
Some consider that a pious life is filled with sorrow and melancholy, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Pious Christians enjoy, even in sufferings and tribulations, interior joys and consolations, which have their foundation in a good conscience, in the grace of the Holy Ghost, and in the expectation of eternal beatitude. These joys and consolations are so great that they would not exchange them for all worldly joys and happiness.

When we compare all the pleasures and joys which men have tasted from the beginning of the world to the present day, with the felicity of the saints in Heaven, are they not more insignificant than a grain of sand compared with the whole earth? St. Augustine says: "This glory, this beauty, this majesty, which will be our felicity, surpasses our hope and love, our wishes and desires. This felicity may be acquired, but cannot be sufficiently appreciated: it can be merited, but not described."

St. Paul says: "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entered into the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for them that love Him."
What is considered temporal happiness is, in reality, vain and perishable. We should learn to disdain everything which the world promises, such as honor and reputation, money and lands, joys and pleasures, and aspire with all our affections to heavenly and eternal goods. Let us follow the admonition of the Apostle: "Seek the things that are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Mind the things that are above, not the things that are on the earth."

Benedict becomes first pope to visit American synagogue

NEW YORK - Pope Benedict XVI became the first pope to visit an American synagogue Friday, bringing greetings for the Passover holiday and accepting gifts of matzo and a seder plate.
Benedict, 81, stopped briefly at Park East Synagogue on Manhattan's Upper East Side, near the Vatican residence."I find it moving to recall that Jesus, as a young boy, heard the words of Scripture and prayed in a place such as this," he said.
At a Roman Catholic church in Manhattan, the pope later warned other Christian leaders against "so-called prophetic actions" that conflict with traditional views of the Bible, a reference to the debate over Scripture that is fracturing churches in America and around the world. In his visit to the synagogue, Benedict was shown the congregation's collection of parchment scrolls, and two youngsters presented him with the Passover gifts.
The German-born pontiff then offered a gift of his own: a reproduction of a Jewish codex."In our lifetime, we have experienced the ravages of war, the Holocaust, man's inhumanity to man and tasted the joy of freedom," said Rabbi Arthur Schneier, who lived in Nazi-occupied Eastern Europe."This momentous occasion takes places on American soil, where men and women escaping the clutches of oppression and religious persecution have built a nation of democracy and freedom. This is a nation which has allowed all religious communities to flourish."
Priest made special trip to give communion to the outspokenly pro-abortion Senator several minutes before everyone else began to receive
LifeSiteNews reported that Senator Ted Kennedy dutifully did not receive communion during the papal mass at Nationals stadium yesterday. The photographs provided and the observations of the photographer certainly appeared to indicate that. However, LifeSiteNews received a copy of an email from another pro-life person, Daniel J. Skehan, who was near Kennedy at the function.

He wrote,

"Two of my sons and I attended the Papal Mass yesterday. We were seated in section 216, directly above the section in which Ted Kennedy was seated. Several minutes prior to the general distribution of communion a priest walked down to Ted Kennedy and gave him communion. There was some discussion amongst we in our section about the inappropriateness of his reception of the Host. Be certain, he remained seated not out of some self-enforced respect for the sacrament, but rather out of respect for his girth and mobility."

Our photographer friend was of course not focusing on Kennedy at the time and did not expect that he would be given this special advance reception of communion. Organizers of the event did not seem to at all be mindful of the public scandal of this occurence given that they made a special effort the ensure the Senator was given the host despite his very well known lack of communion with the Church on the issues of abortion, homosexuality and other serious moral issues. We have corrected our original report.

And has this to add :

Benedict-Ratzinger is against abortion, you say? Think again. At his "Baseball" Mess on April 17, 2008, to inaugurate and publicize the Washington Nationals Baseball Stadium (now Newpope has become little more than a huckster for secular interests), a delegation of U.S. Congressmen, led by the most radical Newchurcher of them all, the female Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, who uncompromisingly stands for a woman's "right" to murder her baby, plans to march right up to Newpope's Novus Ordo dinner table to get their cookie. Undoubtedly, pro-abortion senators Ted Kennedy and John Kerry will join them.
In 2004, Pelosi was one of 48 Newchurchers in the Congress who signed a letter protesting those in the U.S. "Catholic" hierarchy who murmured against the pro-abortion stand of her and her pro-abortion colleagues (but, of course, the Newchurch bishops did nothing against the pro-abortionists). Pelosi, who apparently flunked children's catechism, wrote: "Criticism of us on a matter that is essentially one of personal morality will deter other Catholics from entering politics, and in the long run the Church will suffer." [Source: Associated Press]

Good Catholics, since when did murder become for any true Catholic a matter of personal morality rather than God's morality?! None of the pro-abortion congressmen had the guts at least to be honest and boycott Benedict-Ratzinger. No, they couldn't pass up the photo-ops slobbering all over St. Peter's ring that they on all other occasions spit upon.

Here is another take from the secular media:

Police too rough on noisy son, parents insist

Complaint to be filed after boy, 10, put in cruiser in handcuffs

The parents of a 10-year-old boy who was handcuffed and placed in the back seat of a police cruiser for being too noisy intend to file a complaint against Ottawa police today, alleging that at least one officer went too far in the way he treated their son.

Thomasz and Santana Gurzynski say police drew their firearms before entering their Norberry Crescent apartment and scratched the back of their son, Lucasz, while forcing him to sit down for questioning without an adult present....

Three States Subjected To "Martial Law Sweeps"

Local, state police and sheriff's office join feds for "terror" sweeps that result in hundreds of citations for traffic violations

farkItButton("Three States Subjected To Martial Law Sweeps");

Federal law enforcement agencies co-opted sheriffs offices as well state and local police forces in three states last weekend for a vast round up operation that one sheriff's deputy has described as "martial law training".
Law-enforcement agencies in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas took part in what was described by local media as "an anti-crime and anti-terrorism initiative" involving officers from more than 50 federal, state and local agencies.
Given the military style name "Operation Sudden Impact", the initiative saw officers from six counties rounding up fugitives, conducting traffic checkpoints, climbing on boats on the Mississippi River and doing other "crime-abatement" programs all under the label of "anti-terrorism".
WREG Memphis news channel 3 reported that the Sheriff's Department arrested 332 people, 142 of whom were fugitives, or "terrorists" as they now seem to be known.
Hundreds of dollars were seized and drugs recovered, and 1,292 traffic violations were handed out to speeding terrorists and illegally parked terrorists.
Click here to watch a WREG Memphis news report
The authorities even raided businesses and store owners, confiscating computers and paperwork in an effort to "track down possible terrorists before something big happens".
The Sheriff's Department is determining if and when they plan another round-up.
The operation, which involved police, deputies, the FBI, drug agents, gang units and even the coast guard, is just one example of how law enforcement at the state and local levels is being co-opted and centralized by the Department of Homeland Security via massive federal grants.
It also highlights how the distinction between crime and terrorism is becoming irrelevant.
(Article continues below)
An Infowars reader called in to the Alex Jones show yesterday to alert us to the story and explain that he had gleaned the information from a his friend, a sheriff's deputy in Memphis, who had described the operation as "training for martial law in America".
Forget innocent until proven guilty, you are now a terrorist suspect until you are told otherwise.
It is now the norm to consider everybody equally likely to be guilty of something than innocent. This is proactive policing, not preventative or reactive policing, and is widely indicative of a society that is NOT free.
This form of proactive policing is a phenomena indicative of a once free state rapidly declining into a authoritarian police state.
If there was a real terror threat in these states, it would surely make sense to for law enforcement agencies to target known trouble areas, and follow up on already existing leads. Instead we are seeing local police and the coast guard being recruited to randomly target anyone in any area as possible terrorists.
Surely if there was a real terror threat, this activity would harm the effort to combat it.
Of course, such activity is clearly not related to a real and tangible terror threat, it is related to the ongoing effort to vastly increase the size and scope of the federal government and increase the power it has over American citizens.
The information and intelligence from the operation will be collated and routed through federally funded state-run fusion centers, which are working in conjunction with the military arm of the DHS, NORTHCOM.
Such information will soon include the DNA and other biometric information from every person arrested, which DHS head Michael Chertoff has declared is no longer your personal information.
We recently reported on the fact that after 9/11 the Justice Department advised the Bush administration that it was able to effectively suspend the Fourth Amendment where domestic counter terrorism operations are concerned.
In light of this, and given that the government has begun to class any crime as terrorism and set local and state police to work on "anti-terror" operations, it is clear that the protections provided by the Bill of Rights and the Constitution are under direct threat.
We have seen how new provisions will effectively nullify the U.S. constitution, and a recent spate of executive orders, in particular PDD 51, outline preparations for the implementation of open martial law in the event of a declared national emergency.
Centralized and federally coordinated law enforcement programs complement nationwide FEMA programs to train Pastors and other religious representatives to become secret police enforcers who teach their congregations to "obey the government" in preparation for the implementation of martial law, property and firearm seizures, mass vaccination programs and forced relocation. The effects of this particular program have already been witnessed.
