...Whiteside's personal tragedy is part of an alarming phenomenon in the Army's ranks: Suicides among active-duty soldiers in 2007 reached their highest level since the Army began keeping such records in 1980, according to a draft internal study obtained by The Washington Post. Last year, 121 soldiers took their own lives, nearly 20 percent more than in 2006.
At the same time, the number of attempted suicides or self-inflicted injuries in the Army has jumped sixfold since the Iraq war began. Last year, about 2,100 soldiers injured themselves or attempted suicide, compared with about 350 in 2002, according to the U.S. Army Medical Command Suicide Prevention Action Plan...

Lesbian couples could one day have children who share both their genes
British scientists who had already coaxed male bone marrow cells to develop into primitive sperm cells have now repeated the feat with female embryonic stem cells.
The University of Newcastle team that has achieved the feat is now applying for permission to turn the bone marrow of a woman into sperm which, if successful, would make the method more practical than with embryonic cells.
It raises the possibility of lesbian couples one day having children who share both their genes as sperm created from the bone marrow of one woman could be used to fertilise an egg from her partner. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jhtml;jsessionid=M25YDTKKUPRD3QFIQMFCFF4AVCBQYIV0?xml=/earth/2008/01/31/scisperm131.xml

Ever wonder where israel gets its oil from?
It's a very simple question that provides a very simple answer to another one: Who Benefits from the Iraq war and every other conflict in the Middle East?
In fact, the following concise summary from Slate.com should make it perfectly clear to everyone that when Greenspan said that the war in Iraq is for oil, what he really admitted in an indirect way was that the war in fact is for israel.
The leader of Hezbollah declared "open war" against Israel on Friday following the bombing of
his offices in Beirut, Lebanon. The president of Iran has announced that if Israel were to expand the hostilities by attacking Syria, that would represent "an attack on the whole Islamic world and the regime will face a crushing response." Given the grim state of Arab-Israeli relations, where does Israel get its oil?
From Russia and former Soviet republics. Israel produces only a couple thousand barrels of oil a day, which means it relies on the global market for more than 99 percent of its consumption.
It's difficult to name all of the country's suppliers—in 2004, Israel's minister of national infrastructures admitted that "Israel's situation is complicated. We don't have diplomatic relations with most of the countries from which we import oil." But over the past 25 years, significant fuel imports have come from Angola, Colombia, Mexico, Egypt, and Norway. In more recent times, the Israelis have turned to Russia, Kazakhstan, and some of the other -stans for the bulk of their oil.
Israel has long sought a local source of oil, especially since the oil crisis of 1973. Having a nearby supplier would increase Israel's energy security and reduce the cost of its imports.
Iran filled that need for a while: Starting in 1968, the Israelis used a pipe called the "TIPline" to import Iranian oil from the Red Sea. But the shah was overthrown in 1979, and Iran shut off the tap. (These days, Israel lets the Russians use the TIPline to pump oil in the opposite direction.)
The Israelis gained access to another local source when they took control of Egyptian oil fields in Sinai after the Six-Day War.
I don't think so.
When Israel agreed to return the fields in 1979, they wanted broad assurances about their access to oil imports. The peace treaty with Egypt stipulated that "Israel shall be fully entitled to make bids for Egyptian-origin oil not needed for Egyptian domestic oil consumption." An accompanying document outlined a deal with the United States that ensured Israeli oil supplies in times of crisis.
Egypt continues to provide oil, but its importance as a supplier has diminished as Israel's appetite has grown. In 1995, Egyptian oil accounted for one-third of Israel's fuel imports; by 2000 that fraction had shrunk to one-eighth. While Israel was forced to look elsewhere for oil, it maintained a warm relationship with Egypt, at least regarding energy. In 2005, the two countries signed an agreement on the trade of natural gas.
Meanwhile, Israel continues to seek nearby suppliers. In the lead-up to the war in Iraq, there was some talk of restarting an abandoned pipeline that runs from Mosul, Iraq, to Haifa. In order for this to happen, Israel would need to somehow wrangle the support of the Syrians, since they control part of the route.
Are you seeing a pattern here???
They need oil, they take Sinai. They don't give it back until they've secure guaranteed access to its oil.
They need oil, they kick off a war between the US and Iraq to secure cheap oil from Mosul to Haifa. But, Syria and Lebanon stand in the way, so they decimate Lebanon and now they're after Syria.
And of course, they've been itching to re-open the pipeline from Iran since it shut down in '79. Hence, israel's incessant call for the US to attack Iran.
Finally, israelis don't intend to end their quest for oil with Iran. They have other countries in their cross-hairs, like Saudi Arabia and their so-called "grand prize" - Egypt.
The Israelis have also tried to ramp up their own fuel production. A few weeks ago, they got some press for developing a new way to extract energy from the country's large reserves of "oil shale."
Why bother with peaceful innovative ways to produce energy when War is so much more effective?
Especially when they have US paying the price, with both our money and our lives.
In fact, israel's insatiable quest for oil and gas can even explain its relentless assault against Hamas in Gaza.
So, the next time someone tells you that the war in Iraq is for oil, you tell them - ABSOLUTELY! - and the oil, in turn, is for israel.

WASHINGTON - New home sales plunged in 2007 by the largest amount on record while home prices tumbled sharply in December. Analysts forecast more trouble in 2008 as housing tries to emerge from its worst slump in more than two decades.
The Commerce Department reported Monday that sales of new homes dropped by 26.4 percent last year to 774,000. That marked the biggest decline on record, surpassing the old mark of a 23.1 percent plunge in 1980...
...December sales fell by 4.7 percent, a bigger-than-expected drop, while the median price of a home fell by 10.4 percent last month, when compared to December 2006, the biggest 12-month decline in 37 years.
"It looks like the floor fell out of the housing market in December," said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Economy.com. He said the current slump is already on par with the deep housing downturn of the 1980s and could end up being the worst in the post-World War II period.
The data on new homes followed earlier reports that sales of existing homes dropped 13 percent last year, the biggest decline since 1982, while construction of new homes and apartments fell by 24.8 percent, the largest drop since 1980...
...The 26.4 percent drop in sales for 2007 represented weakness in every part of the country except the Northeast, where sales posted a small 1.6 percent advance. Sales recorded declines of 32.2 percent in the West, 26.7 percent in the Midwest and 26.3 percent in the South.
It would take 9.6 months to eliminate the backlog of unsold new homes at the December sales pace, the longest stretch of time since the month's supply stood at 10.3 months in October 1981.
The severe credit crunch that hit in August has made the troubles in housing worse because it has prompted banks and other lenders to tighten their standards, making it harder for prospective buyers to qualify for loans. Also adding to the problems facing prospective sellers is the rising tide of mortgage defaults, which are dumping more homes on an already glutted market...

Gandhi grandson leaves peace center
By BEN DOBBIN, Associated Press Writer
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - A relative of Mahatma Gandhi has resigned from a peace institute after drawing condemnation for comments he made in an online forum that Israel and Jews "are the biggest players" in a global culture of violence.
Arun Gandhi, the fifth grandson of the revered pacifist, said Friday the board of the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence based at the University of Rochester had accepted his offer a day earlier to step down as president.
Gandhi co-founded the institute with his wife, Sunanda, at Christian Brothers University in Memphis in 1991 and relocated it to the University of Rochester campus in June, a few months after her death...
... He wrote that Jewish identity "has been locked into the holocaust experience — a German burden that the Jews have not been able to shed. It is a very good example of (how) a community can overplay a historic experience to the point that it begins to repulse friends...
"The holocaust was the result of the warped mind of an individual who was able to influence his followers into doing something dreadful. ... The world did feel sorry for the episode but when an individual or a nation refuses to forgive and move on, the regret turns into anger."
Describing Israel as "a nation that believes its survival can only be ensured by weapons and bombs," Gandhi asked whether it would "not be better to befriend those who hate you?"
"Apparently, in the modern world so determined to live by the bomb, this is an alien concept," he wrote. "You don't befriend anyone, you dominate them. We have created a culture of violence (Israel and the Jews are the biggest players) and that Culture of Violence is eventually going to destroy humanity."...
...Larry Fine, head of the Jewish Federation of Rochester, called the posting "reprehensible." Abraham H. Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, called it "shameful that a peace institute would be headed up by a bigot."
"One would hope that the grandson of such an illustrious human being would be more sensitive to Jewish history," Foxman said...
This man does not even deny the Holocaust©

Indian police bust illegal kidney transplant ring
People from 5 countries, including U.S., on waiting list for organs from poor
NEW DELHI - Police said they were raiding hospitals and guest houses Monday as part of their investigation into an illegal transplant racket that removed kidneys from up to 500 poor
laborers and sold their organs to wealthy clients.
Police suspect that dozens of doctors were involved in the kidney racket, which had a waiting list of some 40 people hailing from at least five countries.
The scam, centered in Gurgaon — a posh suburb of New Delhi — used luxury cars outfitted with blood-testing machines to test donors on the fly as well as sophisticated surgical equipment hidden inside a residential neighborhood.
The sprawling investigation is ongoing and police are raiding hospitals' offices and guest houses, Gurgaon Police Commissioner Mohinder Lal told reporters in Gurgaon on Monday.
The primary suspects, who police said have been tied to organ transplant rackets in the past, have apparently fled the country, Lal said.
"We suspect around 400 or 500 kidney transplants were done by these doctors over the last nine years," Lal told reporters last week.
There long have been reports of poor Indians illegally selling their kidneys, but the transplant racket in Gurgaon, which was busted Thursday following a tip from a victim, is one of the most extensive to come to light.
Accounts varied on whether the laborers were aware they were selling their kidneys or whether doctors removed them without their consent. Under Indian law, the sale of human organs is illegal under any circumstances, though organ donations are allowed.
Mohd Salim, a man who lost his kidney, said the scam began when a stranger approached him to offer him work.
"I was taken to a room with gunmen," Salim told the NDTV television news channel. "They tested my blood, gave me an injection, and I lost consciousness. When I woke up, I had pain in my lower abdomen and I was told that my kidney had been removed."
He didn't say if he was paid, but the Hindustan Times newspaper reported that those who were paid for their organs earned 50,000-100,000 rupees (between $1,250 and $2,500).
The kidney ring had a waiting list of dozens of people from India, the United States and Greece, according to the Hindustan Times. Several patients waiting for a transplant were at the facilities when police raided them Friday, but they were allowed to return to their countries without being held for questioning.
The case has sparked outraged headlines — and ignited a national discussion of organ transplant law, with the Indian Medical Association on Monday calling for legislation to make organ

Epistle: 2 Corinthians 11:19-33; 12:1-9
19 For you gladly suffer the foolish; whereas yourselves are wise. 20 For you suffer if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take from you, if a man be lifted up, if a man strike you on the face. 21 I speak according to dishonour, as if we had been weak in this part. Wherein if any man dare (I speak foolishly), I dare also. 22 They are Hebrews: so am I. They are Israelites: so am I. They are the seed of Abraham: so am I. 23 They are the ministers of Christ (I speak as one less wise). I am more; in many more labours, in prisons more frequently, in stripes above measure, in deaths often. 24 Of the Jews five times did I receive forty stripes, save one. 25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once I was stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I was in the depth of the sea. 26 In journeying often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils from my own nation, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils from false brethren. 27 In labour and painfulness, in much watchings, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 28 Besides those things which are without: my daily instance, the solicitude for all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is scandalized, and I am not on fire? 30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things that concern my infirmity. 31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed for ever, knoweth that I lie not. 32 At Damascus, the governor of the nation under Aretas the king, guarded the city of the Damascenes, to apprehend me. 33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and so escaped his hands. 1 If I must glory (it is not expedient indeed), but I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I know a man in Christ above fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I know not, or out of the body, I know not; God knoweth), such a one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man (whether in the body, or out of the body, I know not: God knoweth), 4 That he was caught up into paradise, and heard secret words, which it is not granted to man to utter. 5 For such an one I will glory; but for myself I will glory nothing, but in my infirmities. 6 For though I should have a mind to glory, I shall not be foolish; for I will say the truth. But I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth in me, or any thing he heareth from me. 7 And lest the greatness of the revelations should exalt me, there was given me a sting of my flesh, an angel of Satan, to buffet me. 8 For which thing thrice I besought the Lord, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said to me: My grace is sufficient for thee; for power is made perfect in infirmity. Gladly therefore will I glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Gospel: Luke 8:4-15
4 And when a very great multitude was gathered together, and hastened out of the cities unto him, he spoke by a similitude. 5 The sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 6 And other some fell upon a rock: and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. 7 And other some fell among thorns, and the thorns growing up with it, choked it. 8 And other some fell upon good ground; and being sprung up, yielded fruit a hundredfold. Saying these things, he cried out: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 9 And his disciples asked him what this parable might be. 10 To whom he said: To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to the rest in parables, that seeing they may not see, and hearing may not understand. 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 And they by the way side are they that hear; then the devil cometh, and taketh the word out of their heart, lest believing they should be saved. 13 Now they upon the rock, are they who when they hear, receive the word with joy: and these have no roots; for they believe for a while, and in time of temptation, they fall away. 14 And that which fell among thorns, are they who have heard, and going their way, are choked with the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and yield no fruit. 15 But that on the good ground, are they who in a good and perfect heart, hearing the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit in patience.
The Sunday Sermon
Today's Gospel is about the seed: some of which fell along the wayside; others upon a rock; others among the thorns; and lastly some that fell upon good ground. Our Lord Himself gives us the meaning of this parable. The seed is the word of God and the different soils represent the different types of souls that receive His grace. Our obligation then is that we should strive to have good soil in our soul so that the seed or the word of God may take root and grow to produce fruit a hundred-fold. Just as the farmer must prepare the soil before he plants so must we prepare our souls before we receive the word of God. Before we enter the church to hear the word of God or before we read or listen to a sermon or spiritual work, let us imitate St. Bernard, who before he entered the church would pause a moment at the door recollecting himself and then say interiorly: "Remain here you earthy thoughts and cares, for I must now occupy myself with my God and the salvation of my soul; when I return I will take you back so far as it may be necessary." We must banish all our temporal thoughts and cares, and suppress all inordinate emotions and inclination, so that we may devote ourselves untrammeled to the service of God and the business or our salvation.
We must also develop a hearty desire to be instructed in the Christian religion and to be guided to piety. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after justice." He that has no longing for the word of God, gives us to understand that he is worldly minded, and such a one may be preached to a hundred times, and yet he will remain the self-same worldling.
Next we must invoke the Holy Ghost both for the preacher and for ourselves. No matter how well the preacher may preach if the Holy Ghost does not enlighten the soul it will profit the hearer nothing. St. Augustine says: "We may call and, with much noise exhort to good, but if there be none to teach inwardly, all noise on our part is useless." For this reason St. Paul exhorts the Ephesians to pray for him that speech may be given him, that he may open his mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel. Without the grace of God we are capable of nothing. Therefore we must pray and ask for this grace. "Your Father who is in heaven will give good things to them that ask Him." We must give our full attention to the word of God that we are receiving. How can we expect any profit if we sleep or entertain distractions when God is trying to sow His word in our hearts? We must be humble for God resists the proud. No matter how much we may think that we know there is always something more for us in the words of God that can nurture our souls. Thus, we must be solicitous for salvation. We must constantly desire to be better instructed in religion. "Grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (II Pet. 3, 18) We must have the desire of amending and perfecting ourselves. This is the principle object of the word of God. Sinners are to be converted, the lukewarm to be roused, the weak to be strengthened, and the imperfect to be led to perfection.
After receiving the word of God we must meditate on what we have received. In this way we will be better able to strengthen our resolve, and nourish within our souls that which we have received. We should at this time make good resolutions to practice what has been revealed to us. In particular we should resolve to avoid some particular fault or to perform some good action.
As we enter back into the world we must carry out the good resolutions that we have formed. "For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified." (Rom 2: 13) "If a man be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he shall be compared to a man beholding his own countenance in a glass; for he beheld himself, and went his way, and presently forgot what manner of man he was." (St. James 1: 23, 24)
We now know how we must receive the word of God, whether it is preached to us or read by us. Let us prepare ourselves by purifying our hearts from all worldly distractions and cares, from all inordinate inclinations and desires; be anxious to allow ourselves to be taught and corrected, and for that end implore the Holy Ghost to give us His grace. Let us always hear the word of God with attention, humility, and a heart solicitous for salvation; meditate on what has been given to us, make good resolutions, and put them into practice. "Blessed are they who hear the word of God, and keep it." (St. Luke 11: 28) Amen.

It was a notable year for the housing industry, and not in a good way.
In 2007, the median price of an American single-family home fell for the first time in at least four decades, according to the National Association of Realtors, a trade group.
The median price declined 1.8 percent to $217,800, the first annual decline since reliable records began in 1968. “It’s the first price decline in many, many years and possibly going back to the Great Depression,” said the group’s chief economist, Lawrence Yun...
This is just the beginning, things are going to get much, much worse before they can usher in the North American Union and the "Amero". People will be begging for a one world currency and government by the time they are through!
(Where We Got the Bible, p. 44)
The fourth century is when we find the first translation of the completed Bible. We also know that the The Septuagint is the most ancient translation of the Old Testament and that it also contains the books that the Protestants reject.
Bottom line - the Catholic Bible IS THE BIBLE - and the protestant bible is a satanic twisting of scripture that leaves out books that protestants don't like and don't fit in with their heretical teachings that come right from satan himself!
[When St. Rene Goupil, St. Isaac Jogues and companions were captured by the Iroquois in NY on missionary journey to the savages, + 1642]:
“The executioners chose Rene Goupil as the next victim. They sawed off the thumb of his right hand with an oyster shell. So much blood spurted out that they feared he would die [they wanted to torture him more or trade him]…
Then they turned to Couture… They pricked him with awls and pointed stakes, carved off shreds of his flesh, burned him with firebrands and glowing irons, until he fell lifeless under their cruelties… One of them discovered [later] that two of Couture’s fingers had been left intact… Towering with rage… he began to saw off the index finger of his right hand with the ragged edge of a shell. He pressed down with all his might on the flesh and tore it, but he could not sever the tendons.. Frenzied, he gripped the finger and twisted it until he tore it out, dragging with it a tendon as long as the palm.”
(Saint Among Savages, pp. 219,221)
Yet through all this, and while Protestants where giving the natives small pox infested blankets, and slaughtering the natives at every chance they had - brave faith filled Catholics came to preach the Gospel of our Lord to these natives. Hundreds gave their very lives trying to convert these savages to Christ! If it was not for the heretical protestants who betrayed, murdered, and dishonored the natives at every chance they got - we could be reasonably sure, that like in Mexico and most of South America - Catholics would have converted the natives of North America to Christ and they would be living in union with the rest of this nation and not on reservations as a separate nation within a nation. Catholics would have converted, intermarried, educated, etc... the natives were it not for the horrible deeds of the heretics in North America against the natives - and that is why a great many are still pagans!

More than 60 years after the Holocaust, survivors and their heirs are filing new claims for compensation against Germany. And the Israeli government wants Berlin to provide additional payments of millions of euros to help pay for social services for survivors...
In 1969, the Jewish Claims Conference called the "Final Federal Compensation Law" a "harmonious settlement."
Except when the Zionists realized they had a money making proposition in their version of the Holocaust©, they realized the could use their version of the Holocaust© as the ultimate shake-down racket, extorting money out of succeeding generations of people world-wide.
A shake-down racket that continues on to this day, with the so-called "victims" asking for an ever increasing amount of money from governments world-wide.
A nice side benefit to this racket--for Israel--is that Israel can continue on with its ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, using what allegedly happened in their version of the Holocaust© as an excuse to commit murder on a grand scale.
Ask simple questions about the Holocaust© here in the states and you'll be threatened with physical violence or denied or fired from your job.
Ask a simple question about the Holocaust© in Europe and you'll be physically attacked. And more than likely, be brought up on charges and wind up spending time in prison.
All for the crime of asking questions about the Zionist version of the Holocaust©.
P.S. A curious side note to this imbroglio is that in Israel, most of the "alleged" victims of the Holocaust© live in poverty, since Israel refuses to part with the extorted money it has received from the world.
About 80,000 Holocaust survivors still live in poverty in Israel today. In August the state comptroller, a sort of Israeli ombudsman for all kinds of disputes and controversies, published a report sharply critical of the government for its treatment of Holocaust survivors. According to the report, the state has "the ultimate moral obligation to address the welfare of the Holocaust survivors without delay." The government's lapses are all the more serious, wrote the state comptroller, because the reparations agreement deprived the survivors of the right to demand compensation from Germany.

“And if our gospel be also hid, it is hid to them that are lost, In whom the god of this world [that is, Satan] hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them.”
Raising questions about 9/11 gets an Army sergeant demoted for “disloyalty.”
By STEPHEN C. WEBSTER
Buswell told his dad it was an honor to care for wounded soldiers.
Darren Cunningham and Buswell met and became friends in Iraq, and Buswell later helped Cunningham’s family deal with the MP’s death.
These days, Donald Buswell’s job is not as exciting or dangerous as it once was. For the past few months, his working hours have been spent taking care of some 40-plus wounded soldiers at San Antonio’s Fort Sam Houston medical center. The work is sometimes menial, even janitorial, but he doesn’t mind. After all, Buswell has been where these men are — three years ago, he too was recovering from wounds received in a battle zone in Iraq.
“I truly consider this an honor,” Buswell told his dad not long ago.
Still, it’s not exactly where Buswell expected to be after 20 years of well-respected service in the Army.
Since joining the Army in 1987, he had risen to the rank of sergeant first class, serving in both Gulf Wars, Bosnia, Rwanda, and Korea. He ended up with shrapnel scars and a Purple Heart and, back in the U.S. after his last tour in Iraq, a job as intelligence analyst at Fort Sam Houston.
He couldn’t have foreseen that one e-mail could derail his career and put him on his way out of the Army. One e-mail, speculating about events that millions of people have questioned for the last six years, was all it took.
Sgt. Buswell wants to know: What really happened on 9/11? And he said so in his e-mail. In the few paragraphs of that August 2006 message — a reply not to someone outside the service, but to other soldiers — Buswell wrote that he thought the official report of what happened that day at the Pentagon, and in the Pennsylvania crash of United Airlines Flight 93, was full of errors and unanswered questions.
“Who really benefited from what happened that day?” he asked rhetorically. Not “Arabs,” but “the Military Industrial Complex,” Buswell concluded. “We must demand a new, independent investigation.”
For voicing those opinions in an e-mail to 38 people on the San Antonio Army base, Buswell was stripped of his security clearance, fired from his job, demoted, and ordered to undergo a mental health exam.(He was also ordered not to speak with the press. Information for this story came from documents, conversations with Buswell’s family members and friends, and sources within Fifth Army who asked not to be named.)
As if all that weren’t enough, Fort Sam Houston’s chief of staff penned a letter accusing Buswell of “making statements disloyal to the United States.”...

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida pastor discovered food for the soul, and a sign from God, in an unlikely place — a potato.
Pastor Renee Brewster reluctantly started making potato salad for church but was not entirely comfortable doing it, as Sister Frankie normally makes the dish. So she asked God for a sign, MyFoxOrlando.com reports.

"I was hesitant about making the potato salad because Sister Frankie makes the potato salad at church and I said, 'Lord, if it’s not for me to make potato salad then send me a sign.'"
Next she cut in half a potato and discovered it looked rotten. She only took a second look after her 10-year-old granddaughter said she saw an image of Jesus Christ on the Cross in the split potato.
On closer inspection, she saw the image, as well.
"That’s Jesus on the Cross. Just looking at it I don't have to convince," Brewster said.
She froze the potato heart and used the rest to make the salad, which was served during the weekly rescue mission.
Said Brewster: "I just want people to know God is still as real today as he was back then and he can show up anytime he gets ready."
to Provide Chemical Abortion
“ Chemical Abortion Hospital Mandate” tramples conscience rights, says Pro-Life Wisconsin
Madison – The Wisconsin State Assembly today voted in favor of legislation mandating that all Wisconsin hospitals, regardless of religious affiliation, inform an alleged victim of sexual assault about “emergency contraception” and provide it upon her request. Assembly Bill (AB) 377, the “Chemical Abortion Hospital Mandate,” passed 61 to 35.
“It’s a sad day for Wisconsin ,” said Peggy Hamill, state director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. “The state Assembly has shamefully ignored the fate of embryonic children by forcing Wisconsin hospitals to dispense a known abortion-causing drug to vulnerable women. In so doing, they have trampled upon the conscience rights of hospitals and hospital workers in blatant disregard of our federal and state constitutions which guarantee freedom of religious expression and liberty of conscience. This deadly legislation should never have been scheduled for floor action. That it passed the day after the 35th anniversary of Roe v. Wade is an added insult.”
Pro-Life Wisconsin ’s primary opposition to AB 377 is based on the abortion-causing action of so-called “emergency contraception (EC)” which, under the bill, is defined to include both the morning-after pill and the intrauterine device (IUD). The morning-after pill can work in three ways: to suppress ovulation; to inhibit the mobility of sperm; and, after fertilization, to alter the lining of the uterus so that a newly conceived child is unable to implant in the womb, thus starving and dying. This last action is pre-implantation chemical abortion. The IUD always works to block implantation and therefore always causes an abortion.
Pro-Life Wisconsin commended the 34 Republican legislators and 1 Democrat legislator (Rep. Bob Ziegelbauer, D-Manitowoc) who voted against AB 377.
“We applaud these legislators who courageously held firm to their pro-life convictions and their sworn constitutional oaths,” said Matt Sande, PLW’s director of legislation. “That so many of their colleagues, Democrats and Republicans, flouted both their moral duty to protect preborn children and their legal duty to protect conscience rights is cause for great frustration and anger in the pro-life community. This is a day that will be long remembered.”
The 16 Republican representatives who voted in favor of AB 377 include: Terry Musser (R-Black River Falls), Jeff Wood (R-Chippewa Falls), J.A. Hines (R-Oxford), Dean Kaufert (R-Neenah), Brett Davis (R-Oregon), Terry Moulton (R-Chippewa Falls), Lee Nerison (R-Westby), Al Ott (R-Forest Junction), Jeff Stone (R-Greendale), Gary Tauchen (R-Bonduel), Sue Jeskewitz (R-Menomonee Falls), John Murtha (R-Baldwin), Kitty Rhoades (R-Hudson), Robin Vos (R-Racine), Steve Wieckert (R-Appleton) and Mary Williams (R-Medford).
Representing over 30,000 families across the state, Pro-Life Wisconsin will continue to defend the lives of preborn children and protect the conscience rights of medical professionals.
So now even Catholic hospitals must provide abortions for rape victims - or women who may "cry rape"! St. Camillus, pray for us!
For anyone unfamiliar with the term, an anagram is a type of word play in which the letters of a word or phrase are rearranged to spell another word or phrase. Technically, in the loosest sense any transformation of a word (horse = shore) or phrase (New Delhi = Deli When?) can qualify as an anagram, but in the best of them there is always a connection of some sort, so that the second comments on or otherwise references the first (e.g., The eyes = They see). Down through the years there have been some Catholic anagrams of note, such as the one answering to Pilate's question, "Quid est veritas?" (What is truth?): "Est vir qui adest" (It is the man who is here) A more involved one, also from Latin to Latin, turns the prayer opening "Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum" (Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord [is] with you) into "Virgo serena, pia, munda et immaculata" (Serene virgin, pious, clean and spotless).Significantly, an anagrammatic response to the destructive "new Mass" has appeared. In line with Benedict XVI's false description of the Montini/Bugnini service as the "ordinary form of the Roman Rite," is it also called "normative," that is, the norm for religious worship in the counterfeit church. From the Latin for New Order [of the] Mass comes this anagram very full of meaning:
NOVUS ORDO MISSAE = A DEVIOUS NORM. SOS!

The Mars rovers previously showed evidence of water and hot springs, and photos have the wrong colors. The Zionists claim that NASA is hiding evidence of life on Mars, but it's actually evidence that the Mars rovers are in the Australian desert not on Mars.
More details here. This is a special case because 1) he was making bombs - this is a violent Jew 2) his roommate is a professor in AIDS research. We need to expose professors involved with Zionism to help people realize that universities are under Zionist control, and that is why professors lie about the Holocaust, the Apollo moon landing, 9/11, etc. The scholars for 9/11 truth are also a Zionist group

WASHINGTON - A study by two nonprofit journalism organizations found that President Bush and top administration officials issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq in the two years following the 2001 terrorist attacks.
The study concluded that the statements "were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses."...

A Calvinist protestant was once disputing about the Real Presence with the father of St. Jane Frances de Chantal; Frances at the time was only five years of age. Whilst the dispute was going on she advanced and said to the nobleman, "What, sir! do you not believe that Jesus Christ is really present in the Blessed Sacrament, and yet He has told us that He is present?
You then make Him a liar. If you dared attack the honor of the King, my father would defend it at the risk of his life, and even at the cost of yours; what have you then to expect from God for calling His son a liar?"
The Calvinist was greatly surprised at the child's zeal, and endeavored to appease his young adversary with presents, but full of love for her holy faith, she took his gifts and threw them into the fire, saying: "Thus shall all those burn in Hell who do not believe the words of Jesus Christ!"

At age 12 or 13 Agnes was ordered to sacrifice to pagan gods and lose her virginity by rape. She was taken to a Roman temple to Minerva (Athena), and when led to the altar, she made the Sign of the Cross. She was threatened, then tortured when she refused to turn against God. Several young men presented themselves, offering to marry her, whether from lust or pity is not known. She said that to do so would be an insult to her heavenly Spouse, that she would keep her consecrated virginity intact, accept death, and see Christ. Martyr Foster-sister of Saint Emerentiana. Mentioned in first Eucharistic prayer. French Holocaust revisionist Robert FaurissonFrench revisionist historian Robert Faurisson is to face trial on charges of attending an anti-Holocaust conference in Iran.
Faurisson said he received a letter from the French judicial police (DCPJ), demanding he should present himself before the court on January 24, IRNA reported.
On December 11, 2006, Iran hosted a two-day conference entitled 'Review of the Holocaust: Global vision' aimed at probing the West's allegations, claiming that over six million European Jews were killed by Germany during World War II.
Faurisson in Tehran repeated his theories about gas chambers and said that in the past 32 years, he had been waiting for someone to show him one of those chambers.
The French Holocaust revisionist was convicted of 'Holocaust denial' by a Paris court in July 2006 over remarks he made on Iranian television.
Faurisson, then 77, was given a three-month suspended prison term and was also fined 7,500 euros.
Speaking on the Sahar 1 Iranian satellite channel in February 2005, Faurisson said there was never a single execution gas chamber under the Germans. "So all those millions of tourists who visit Auschwitz are seeing a lie, a falsification,” he said.
In 1989, Faurisson was hospitalized after he was attacked by French Jews. He suffered a broken jaw and ribs and severe head injuries in a savage attack by a number of radical Jews while he was walking his dog in the town of Vichy.
In 1991, he was removed from his university chair under the Gayssot Act, a French statute passed in 1990 that prohibited any doubts over the Holocaust.

Honeybees will die out in Britain within a decade as virulent diseases and parasites spread through the nation's hives, experts have warned.
Whole colonies of bees are already being wiped out, with current methods of pest control unable to stop the problem.
The British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) said that if the crisis continued, honeybees would disappear completely from Britain by 2018, causing "calamitous" economic and environmental problems...
A retired Israeli army officer under arrest in Brazil on suspicion of belonging to an international human kidney trafficking ring has told a court the Israeli government financed organ transplants, press reports here said.
Geldaya Tauber Gady told a court that Israel financed organ transplants in other countries, primarily South Africa, through national health services.
Organ transplants are not illegal in Israel. But due to religious objections mainly by ultra-orthodox Jews, there is a critical lack of organ donors in Israel, and patients in need of a transplant are usually obliged to travel abroad.

The Zionist state has tacitly admitted that doctors at the Israeli forensic institute at Abu Kabir had extracted the vital organs of three Palestinian teenage children killed by the Israeli Army nearly ten days ago.
Zionist Minister of Health Nessim Dahhan said in response to a question by Arab member of the
Zionist Parliament 'Knesset', Ahmed Teibi, on Tuesday that he couldn't deny that organs of Palestinian youths and children killed by the Israeli forces were taken out for transplants or scientific research.
I wonder if these wacky fundamentalists and neocons will be Zionists when they start taking organs from their children?
