Don’t fall for Israeli propaganda

Once again, Israel seeks to defend the indefensible in an attempt to cloak its crimes against humanity with the mantle of self-defense. As its American-manufactured bombs and missiles pound a virtually unarmed starving population, Israeli officials appear on just about every satellite news network singing from the same propagandist song sheet.

It’s all the fault of the terror organization Hamas which refused to renew the cease-fire, “We have a duty to protect our citizens in the south from rockets and mortars.” I’ve heard several saying “When we pulled out of Gaza we hoped Palestinians would forge a functioning territory but instead they chose terror.” In answer to questions concerning so many civilian deaths, they all insist that Israel is carrying out surgical strikes against “terror infrastructure” or they will excuse Israel’s bombardment of homes with “civilians are hiding launchers in their houses.”

Israel’s former ambassador to the United Nations, Dan Gillerman, seemed nonplussed when one interviewer asked him whether the seven dead UNWRA student employees were launching missiles too.

Predictably, these merchants of untruths are given free rein to spin on most Western networks and disproportionate airtime as opposed to pro-Palestinian commentators.

Let’s dissect these fabricated Israeli arguments.

First, whatever one thinks of Hamas and it ideology, it was elected to office in free and internationally-monitored elections that were forced upon the Palestinian people by Washington as part of the Bush administration’s quest to democratize the Middle East.

Then, after congratulating the Palestinians on their new democracy, the US-led international community promptly condemned the new leadership as terrorist and threw its support behind Fatah, which was “ordered” to turn against Hamas. This divisive strategy worked to the extent Hamas was driven to Gaza where it has since struggled against all odds to provide its citizens with the barest minimum required to sustain life.

Those representatives of Israel who say since their country’s pullout there was no obstacle to Gaza becoming a flourishing enclave are disingenuous when Gaza’s borders are sealed and the people have no control over their coastline or airspace.

Even when the Fatah-controlled Palestinian National Authority managed Gaza, Israel did everything it could to destroy infrastructure including a $75 million airport built with donations from the EU, Japan and Morocco. And during this current round of attacks, ministries, government buildings, police stations and a police academy were bombed which does not support Israel’s supposed wish to see a functioning Gaza.

While it is true that Hamas refused to extend the cease-fire, what incentive does it have to do so while Israel is waging a war of attrition on the people in its care? It seems residents of Gaza must choose to die slowly from starvation and lack of medicines or at the hands of the Israeli war machine.

Secondly, Israel is, indeed, duty-bound to protect its citizens but just look at the numbers. Very few crude homemade rockets have resulted in casualties. I believe only one Israeli has died during this current onslaught that has robbed the lives of over 320 Palestinians and wounded up to 1,000, not including those still buried beneath rubble. Once more, Israel’s response has been disproportionate just as it was in 2006 when it slaughtered 1,200 Lebanese civilians in answer to Hezbollah’s kidnapping of IDF soldiers.

Third, when it comes to Gaza, said to be one of the most densely populated areas of the world, there is no such thing as a surgical strike. Moreover, over half of Gaza’s population are children under 18. Even the smartest smart bombs could not cherry-pick between resistance fighters and innocents in such a packed environment. The Israeli government knows this and doesn’t care a jot, which translates to willful collective punishment, illegal under the Fourth Geneva Convention.

But like its Washington master (or is it the other way around?) Israel is not constrained by international law or the Geneva Conventions that also require an occupying nation to provide for the well-being of people under its occupation and to respect their dignity. As the willful killing continues, Israel merrily ignores pleas from France, Russia, the UN, the EU and Britain to end the violence. Why should it do otherwise when it has proved time and time again that it is a law unto itself and immune from international punishment?

Unsurprisingly, the only message from the US to Israel is “try to avoid civilian casualties,” which is nothing more than lip service to international humanitarian sensitivities. In effect, the Bush administration has blessed this, by many accounts, long planned operation, cynically timed to begin during a political vacuum in Washington and close to upcoming elections when candidates need to prove they’re tough to win votes. Tragically, there may be much worse to come. Israeli government officials, including Defense Minister Ehud Barak, has warned the offensive could be widened as tanks line up on the border with Gaza and 6,500 IDF reservists are on standby.

Today, the Arab League is holding an emergency summit of foreign ministers to discuss the crisis. If only they will decide to do more than issue a joint statement of condemnation this time.

Together they have so much clout. Now is the time for all Arab countries to gather together as one nation to say “enough is enough” before the streets of Gaza run with the blood of their desperate brothers and sisters. As the West closes its eyes and ears to Palestinian cries for help Arab leaders should heed the outraged voices on their own streets and act.

Finally, the governments of Egypt and Jordan should do some soul-searching. Should they continue with peace agreements made in all good faith with a selfish, cruel state bent on destroying a people for its own ends?Linda S. Heard is a British specialist writer on Middle East affairs.

Milwaukee to Form Gay-Friendly Middle School
December 17, 2008 03:23 PM ET Jessica Calefati Permanent Link

The Milwaukee Public School System will expand the services provided by its gay-friendly high school and apparently become the nation's first school system to create a gay-friendly middle school.

At a meeting two weeks ago, a subcommittee of Milwaukee's Board of Education unanimously approved the Alliance School's proposal to serve sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. The proposal gained unanimous approval from the full board by default when the item was not pulled for further discussion or a vote at last night's meeting. Alliance School lead teacher Tina Owen said the public charter school will begin accepting new applicants eligible for middle school in the 2009-2010 school year immediately.

Milwaukee's response to gay-friendly schools has been much different from other cities'. In Chicago, community leaders' concerns about creating a gay-friendly high school stalled plans to bring such a proposal before the city's school board. In New York City, protesters greeted students of the gay-friendly Harvey Milk High School in Manhattan's East Village on its first day of classes five years ago. But in Milwaukee, the Alliance School's birth as a high school and expansion to serve middle school students passed with no real opposition. Calls from social service organizations and parents urging Owen to create the middle school more quickly are the only responses she has received from the community, Owen said.

Before helping to create the Alliance School four years ago, Owen worked in another Milwaukee high school and advised its Gay Straight Alliance club. She heard horror stories from students who were being verbally and physically harassed on a daily basis because of their sexuality or gender identification. Research conducted by the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network indicates that students across the country are experiencing the same trauma. A GLSEN study on school climate found that 86.2 percent of youth who identify themselves as other than heterosexual were verbally harassed in the past year and that 22.1 percent were also victims of physical assaults at school.

Marty Lexmond, the director of school innovation for Milwaukee Public Schools, said the need for a gay-friendly middle school is even greater today because adolescents are publicly identifying their sexuality as early as middle school. He added that he is pleased with Alliance's progress over the past four years because the school serves young people whose needs are not being met elsewhere. Lexmond believes that had many of the school's current students not attended Alliance, they would have acted out or dropped out of their old schools. Some students he came to know personally told him so.

Though Alliance is certainly a safe place for gay youth, Owen makes clear that she did not help create the school or its new middle school to benefit gay students only. "Alliance has never been exclusively a gay high school; rather, so many LGBTQ students are the ones being bullied," Owen said. "This school is for any student who wants to become a part of this safe environment."

+This is incredible!! The MPS has a graduation rate UNDER 50% but they are worried about gay/lesbian CHILDREN??? And NO OPPOSITION from anyone??? Where are these brain dead parents??

Her Doctrine and Morals
The Holy Innocents
28 December 2008
Giotto di Bondone
No. 21 Scenes from the Life of Christ
Massacre of the Innocents1304-06 --
FrescoCappella Scrovegni (Arena Chapel), Padua

Dear Friend,

The evil in this world seek to destroy God and the grace that He brings us, and they are very persevering in this pursuit.

No one can harm God, not Herod, not the world, or the devils. All that Christ suffered He willed and allowed. Apart from His willing it, He could not be harmed because He is God. Thus we see that Herod was unable to harm the Christ child, because God had not willed His sacrifice at that time.

But, we on the other hand cannot be guaranteed that privilege. We are subject to all the attacks of our passions, the world and the devils. They attack us and try to kill Christ within us, sometimes doing great harm to our bodies if not to our souls.

We see the slaughter of the Holy Innocents in Bethlehem and we can imagine the weeping and loud lamentations of those who would not be comforted. They were defenseless against the attacks of Herod.

Because Herod could not harm God he took out his rage against everyone else. So it is often with the devils in their attacks against us. They are frustrated in their attempts to attack God so they are all the more violent against us.

But, there is a twist of irony in their attacks, because they cannot harm us unless God allows it. And God, who loves us and wishes our eternal welfare, will only allow them to do what they will so that He can draw a greater good from it.

Also it should be noted that we can only be attacked from the outside. The world the devils and even our own passions cannot harm us unless we will it. They can strike our bodies but they cannot touch our souls. The only one that can harm our souls is we ourselves.

No matter how furious they are in their attacks, they are in reality nothing but hot air. They cower and tremble in the face of anyone who offers the slightest resistance to them. The devils cannot drag us down into Hell. Those who go to Hell have gone willingly. They have chosen to listen to the lies of their passions, the world and the devils. Only those are in Hell who have committed a mortal sin. And one of the requirements of mortal sin is that it must be willful. Therefore only those who willed to commit mortal sin are guilty of mortal sin. And only those guilty of mortal sin are condemned to Hell, so only those are in Hell who have freely chosen to be there. They have imitated their leader Lucifer, and knowingly and willingly refused God's love and graces. The souls of the Holy Innocents bear this out for us. These souls were innocent in the eyes of God. Even though they were conceived in sin (original sin) they were purified by their willingly suffering the death of their bodies for the love of God (baptism of blood).
These little babies with a simple act of their wills defeated Herod and the devils. As weak as they may have been in their bodies their wills show us great strength.

Every human being, including the one that has only just been conceived, has a free will. And no matter what attacks are made from without, nothing can touch his soul unless he himself wills it.
Because we celebrate these Holy Innocents as saints, God through His Holy Church has shown us that every soul has a chance. We see the futility of all the attacks against us. The simple act of the will in loving and choosing God before everything else is enough to save us.

If we love God we have nothing to fear. If we fail in the love of God we have everything to fear, but our biggest fear must be from ourselves. Because, we are the ones that do the greatest, nay the only, harm to our souls' eternal life.

God's grace is always there and the soul is always given a choice. The only question for us is what choice will we make as we breathe forth our last breath in this world? That single choice will seal our fate for eternity.

It is truly the fool who is presumptuous enough to plan on a last minute conversion. Those who live in sin will most likely die that way. Those who live in grace and the love of God are more likely to die in that state.

Let us rejoice with these Holy Innocents in their victory. And let us make use of the time that we have been given to grow stronger in the love of God and in His graces. We can do this only through the means that He has given us: the Sacraments and His Church. Our love is proven when we make use of the means of grace that He has given us. Rejection, neglect or abuse of these sources of grace is a choice of hatred against God and is damnable.

Her Doctrine and Morals
25 December 2008

Dear Friend,
The angels sing: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men of good will."

We see the glory of God manifest to us today in a Little Child lying in a manger in a stable in Bethlehem. This scene fills our hearts with peace and joy.

What hearts are not happy when looking upon a new born baby? But, it seems peculiar that we should find peace in looking upon this Baby, because He is born in the poorest of circumstances _ He is in a stable lying in a manger. Our hearts should naturally be saddened by this image.

Who in this world likes to look upon the poor? This world strives to shut out the poor. The poor are a disgrace to any city, town or village. And those in authority do all they can to remove the poor from their sight. We try to send them away or provide someplace else for them to stay. We will do almost anything to remove them from our sight, because they are a disturbance to our worldly sense of peace and happiness. They cause sorrow because of their suffering and because it demands of us a sacrifice to come to their assistance. If we ignore them then we cannot be at peace because we are uncharitable and our conscience will continually tell us this. So we strive to hide and forget them.
This was the life that God chose to be in. He came to the poor; He came as a pauper Himself. He was despised and rejected by the world.

And yet, the angels sing. And all those who are poor in spirit sing with them. Christ our Savior is born. He has become one of us to save us. He has become the least of us to save the lowliest of us.

The birth of this Child is the glory of God. We see the magnificence of God in doing great things from the least things. He turns all that is bad into good. The curse of poverty becomes a virtue and grace when willingly endured in imitation and for the love of Him. Hunger, thirst, nakedness, cold, heat, etc. all are transformed from physical evils into spiritual good with Him.

He has come to the lowliest place to carry all those lowly souls into the heights of Heaven. But, not all men will He lift up into Heaven. And therefore not all have cause to be joyful or at peace. Only the few who cooperate with Him will have true joy and peace. The peace as the angels sing is "among men of good will". Those who are not of good will have nothing of this peace.

All of those who reject His teachings have rejected Him and are obviously not of good will. Those who reject or ignore His law: "What God has joined together let no man put asunder." i.e. those who are divorced and "re-married" living in adultery can have no true peace. All those who refuse union with His Church or refuse to eat His flesh in the Blessed Sacrament can have no true peace. Etc.
God is glorified but not all men will receive His peace. His peace is for those of good will _ those who love Him. But, who can love a poor man? Only the poor in spirit, only the humble, only those who cooperate with the grace of God, know His peace and joy.

Let us look into our hearts and see the poverty of our own souls. Let us see our helplessness and the need for His grace. As we are humbled and come to a true knowledge of ourselves then we begin to grow in the love and grace of God.
When we see our own spiritual poverty the physical poverty of the Christ Child ceases to be offensive. That which is naturally repulsive becomes supernaturally attractive.

The sinners who are of good will have cause to rejoice with the angels today. We are all sinners but we are not all of good will. We are not all filled with the love of God.

Let us dwell upon this beautiful scene of the poor Christ Child and all that He has suffered and be filled with compassion. Let us see that it is because of our sins that He suffered. Let us offer Him our love. As we grow in this love we will begin to see more and greater joy in this scene. And His mission will eventually become complete in us. And we too will sing with the angels: "Glory to God in the Highest!"

Just a little mindless fun - this is great!

Wednesday, December 24, 2008

1 And it came to pass, that in those days there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that the whole world should be enrolled. 2 This enrolling was first made by Cyrinus, the governor of Syria. 3 And all went to be enrolled, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem: because he was of the house and family of David, 5 To be enrolled with Mary his espoused wife, who was with child.
6 And it came to pass, that when they were there, her days were accomplished, that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8 And there were in the same country shepherds watching, and keeping the night watches over their flock. 9 And behold an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the brightness of God shone round about them; and they feared with a great fear. 10 And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, that shall be to all the people:
11 For, this day, is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army, praising God, and saying: 14 Glory to God in the highest; and on earth peace to men of good will. 15 And it came to pass, after the angels departed from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another: Let us go over to Bethlehem, and let us see this word that is come to pass, which the Lord hath showed to us.
16 And they came with haste; and they found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. 17 And seeing, they understood of the word that had been spoken to them concerning this child. 18 And all that heard, wondered; and at those things that were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these words, pondering them in her heart. 20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God, for all the things they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
Here are the lyrics from the oldest existing Christmas Carol - written by St. Ambrose in 397.

Veni, Redemptor Gentium - Come, Thou Savior of our race

1. Come, Thou Savior of our race,Choicest Gift of heav'nly grace! O Thou blessed Virgin's Son, Be Thy race on earth begun.

2. Not of mortal blood or birth, He descends from heaven to earth: By the Holy Ghost conceived, Truly man to be believed.

3. Wondrous birth! O wondrous Child Of the virgin, undefiled! Though by all the world disowned, Still to be in heaven enthroned.

4. From the Father forth He came, And returneth to the same; Captive leading death and hell, High the song of triumph swell.

5. Equal to the Father now, Though to dust Thou once didst bow; Boundless shall Thy kingdom be; When shall we its glories see?

6. Brightly doth Thy manger shine! Glorious is its light divine: Let not sin o'er cloud this light, Ever be our faith thus bright.

The Father of the Christmas Carol

After the above song there is a silence for almost 1,000 years. There may have been carols, but not many have been preserved. The silence was broken by St. Francis of Assisi. Many call him the father of the Christmas carol. He wanted to find a way to make the Christmas story come alive for the common people, who could not read and had no access to the Bible or other books.

He decided in 1223 that he would build a life-size manger scene, complete with live animals such as ox, ass, and sheep. He would get various villagers to play the roles of the Holy Family and the shepherds and wise men. Then he would have people sing songs about Christmas -- so caroling was born.

''The First Nowell,'' first sung about 1500, is the oldest known carol in the English language still sung today. It did not appear in print until 1833 however. This song was claimed by both the French and the English. In France it was written as ''Noel.'' Researchers think that this song came from Cornwall in England, but no one knows for certain who wrote it.

The First Nowell lyrics

Born is the King of Israel

The first Nowell
The angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay In field where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winternight that was so deep Nowell Nowell Nowell Nowell Born is the King of Israel

Nowell Nowell Nowell Nowell

Born is the King of Israel Nowell
They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east beyond them far

So born is the King of Israel

Nowell Nowell Nowell Nowell

Born is the King of Israel
Nowell Nowell

ARE you afraid that the eco nomic downturn could get out of hand? I mean, really out of hand?
Well, don't worry.

The US Army War College is on the case - ready to handle "unforeseen economic collapse" and the "rapid dissolution of public order in all or significant parts of the US."

And you thought we were just dealing with a recession!

In a report published Nov. 4 - just in time for the holiday season - the War College's Strategic Studies Institute posited a number of shocks that the country should be prepared for, including unrest caused by the economy's failure.

The report has a snappy title, "Known Unknowns: Unconventional 'Strategic Shocks' in Defense Strategy Development," and was written by Nathan Freier, a visiting professor at the college.

The foreword was written by Col. John A. Kardos, director of the Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute.

Freier lists a number of possible things we should worry about - because we probably don't have enough of our own - including run-of-the-mill terrorism and the fact that China and Russia could align against us politically and economically.

"Some of the most plausible defense-relevant strategic shocks remain low-probability events," Freier soft-pedals before going on to scare the hell out of us.

The War College says "widespread civil violence inside the US would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security."

Among things Freier wants us to worry about are "deliberate employment of weapons of mass destruction. . . unforeseen economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency and catastrophic natural and human disasters."

Oh, and by the way, have a Merry Christmas!

Things are going to get really bad - Thank God if you are a true Catholic and are on the side of the Almighty. No matter what happens - if we remain faithful to Him and love Him - we will never be alone or abandoned - no matter how bad it gets.

Twilight Zone:

Noted Bioethicist: "Give Face Transplant Woman Option of Assisted Suicide"
By Thadddeus M. Baklinski
CLEVELAND, Ohio, December 22, 2008 ( - Dr. Arthur Caplan, Chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Director of the Center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, was quoted by the Associated Press as saying that the woman who was given an near-total face transplant recently should be offered the option of killing herself if the operation proves unsuccessful.

"The biggest ethical problem is dealing with failure — if your face rejects. It would be a living hell," said Caplan. "If your face is falling off and you can't eat and you can't breathe and you're suffering in a terrible manner that can't be reversed, you need to put on the table assistance in dying."
The patient, whose name and age were not released, underwent a 22 hour procedure at the Cleveland Clinic that reconstructed 80 percent of her face after she suffered an undisclosed trauma.

Francis Papay, chair of dermatology and plastic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic explained the surgery at a news conference held last week.

"We transferred the skin, all the facial muscles in the upper face and mid-face, the upper lip, all of the nose, most of the sinuses around the nose, the upper jaw including the teeth, and the facial nerve."

The face transplant was the fourth done worldwide, with two having been done in France, and one performed in China.

The procedure raises the ethical questions of not only what to do in the event of failure of the operation, but also the source of the face used in the transplant and how it was acquired.
Unlike transplants involving vital organs like the heart or liver, face reconstruction is done to improve quality of life, not extend it, and the recipient still runs the risk of life-threatening complications and must take immune-suppressing drugs for the rest of their lives; but this may be the first time a medical ethicist has publicly stated that a transplant recipient should be offered assisted suicide in case of organ rejection.

The AP report indicated the tissue used for the reconstruction was taken from "a female cadaver." The hospital’s bioethics chief, Dr. Eric Kodish, said the circumstances and procedures followed for the donation and transplant were “beyond reproach.”

The ethical question of the harvesting of organs for transplant and the contentious concept of “brain death" was raised in the controversy over the first-ever face transplant surgery conducted in France in 2005.

Dr. Iain Hutchison, an oral-facial surgeon at Barts and the London Hospital, told the BBC concerning the procedure carried out in France: "The transplant would have to come from a beating heart donor." Hutchison, who is chief executive of Saving Faces - the Facial Surgery Research Foundation, explained, "So, say your sister was in intensive care, you would have to agree to allow her face to be removed before the ventilator was switched off."

According to Dr. John Shea, medical consultant for Campaign Life Coalition, "there is no general agreement that brain death is death." He explained that the "criteria for establishing 'brain death' vary from England to the US and through the other countries of Europe."

The fact that the face used in the Cleveland Clinic operation had to come from a live donor - heart beating and still breathing - in order to be transplanted has not been addressed by University of Pennsylvania ethicist Dr. Caplan.

How much longer are we going to put up with being robbed blind by these Zionists?

Where'd the bailout money go? Shhhh, it's a secret

Dec 22, 9:52 AM (ET)By MATT APUZZO

WASHINGTON (AP) - It's something any bank would demand to know before handing out a loan: Where's the money going?

But after receiving billions in aid from U.S. taxpayers, the nation's largest banks say they can't track exactly how they're spending the money or they simply refuse to discuss it.

"We've lent some of it. We've not lent some of it. We've not given any accounting of, 'Here's how we're doing it,'" said Thomas Kelly, a spokesman for JPMorgan Chase, which received $25 billion in emergency bailout money. "We have not disclosed that to the public. We're declining to."

The Associated Press contacted 21 banks that received at least $1 billion in government money and asked four questions: How much has been spent? What was it spent on? How much is being held in savings, and what's the plan for the rest?

None of the banks provided specific answers...

You KNOW where this money is going!
Very interesting commentary on the Bernard Madoff "Ponxi Scheme"...

A Scam On Top Of A Scam

What this amounts to is giving 5,000 Zionists another $20 billion. You have 4,000 small timers that will grab $500,000 to $2,000,000 in SIPC funds. On top of that the super wealthy will get $16 billion in tax refunds.
The best part there are no records.

But where is the missing money?

It's all in Israel, and the US taxpayer will get the bill.
[When St. Rene Goupil, St. Isaac Jogues and companions were captured by the Iroquois in NY on a missionary journey to the savages, 1642]:

“The executioners chose Rene Goupil as the next victim. They sawed off the thumb of his right hand with an oyster shell. So much blood spurted out that they feared he would die [they wanted to torture him more or trade him]… Then they turned to Couture… They pricked him with awls and pointed stakes, carved off shreds of his flesh, burned him with firebrands and glowing irons, until he fell lifeless under their cruelties… One of them discovered [later] that two of Couture’s fingers had been left intact… Towering with rage… he began to saw off the index finger of his right hand with the ragged edge of a shell. He pressed down with all his might on the flesh and tore it, but he could not sever the tendons.. Frenzied, he gripped the finger and twisted it until he tore it out, dragging with it a tendon as long as the palm.”

(Saint Among Savages, pp. 219,221)

This is what men who truly loved and followed Christ were going through out of love for God and the Indians, while the protestant heretics plotted means to destroy steal and murder them.

Today, protestant heretics rewrite history to hide these facts, so much so, that they lie about how savage the natives in America actually were - and almost make saints out of the Indians.

The spiritual descendents of the first protestant heretics and murderers that arrived here in the New World still celebrate the pagan culture of these savages, instead of obeying Christ and bringing all nations to Him.

Her Doctrine and Morals
Fourth Sunday of Advent
21 December 2008

Dear Friend,
The time is drawing near. Are we ready? Not for the parties and gatherings of friends, relatives, and neighbors, but are we ready for God? Our houses are cleaned and decorated; food is ready, gifts are wrapped, etc. (Or they soon will be). But, what about our souls? What about the divine Guest who wishes to visit us this season? Are we ready for Him?

St. John upon receiving the word of God went about the region of the Jordan preaching a baptism of repentance. God's priests today again preach repentance to us. It is not a baptism of repentance, but a sacrament of Penance that we are to receive. What the baptism of St. John prefigured and alluded to is made perfect in the Sacrament of Penance. In the Sacrament of Penance our sins are truly washed away and our souls are made clean.

But, in order for this sacrament to affect its purpose we must first of all receive it. We must not delay the reception of this sacrament any longer. For when Christ comes if we are not ready to receive Him, He will go on to another, just as He did over two-thousand years ago in Bethlehem. There was no room for Him in the inns or homes. He found shelter with animals which He obviously preferred to the houses of those steeped in sin.

We should consider the fact that Our Lord preferred the dirt and smell of a stable to the homes and inns of people in sin. He could have been born anywhere but He chose the shelter of animals over that of humans!

I mention this because this teaches us the hideousness and evil of sin. It is the most detestable thing there is. And God is repulsed by it. At least the dumb animals could not sin. He will allow nothing stained to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

And yet, God came down from Heaven for the souls of sinners. But, only those who believe and are baptized will enter into His fold. And of those only those who are free from sin will be able to bear His presence. Hence, the need for us to heed the words of St. John: "Make ready the way of the Lord, make straight His paths. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low, and the crooked ways shall be made straight, and the rough ways smooth..."

The sacrament of Penance gives us the tools to do just what St. John is telling us must be done in preparation for our Lord's coming. If we fail to make use of this means we will invariably lose out on a visit from the Divine Child this Christmas season, and all will have been in vain.

We must make sure that we not only receive the sacrament, but that we receive it well. For the sacrament to be valid we must have true contrition for our sins. We must be truly sorry for our sins either because we don't want to go to Hell (imperfect contrition) or because we have offended God (perfect contrition). And we must be determined to amend our lives and make reparation for any injuries or losses that we have caused.

When we examine our consciences we must look for those valleys that need filling up. We must look for our doubts and lack of faith in our lives and begin with the grace of God to fill these up with Faith and prayer. We must look for the mountains and hills of pride and vanities that we have put in the way of Christ's coming and begin to tear these down with acts of humility. We must look for the crooked ways of lying and deceit in our lives and begin to straighten them out. We must look for the rough ways of anger and impatience and start smoothing these out.

There is so much to do and so little time to do it! We must begin now and work in earnest to truly make ourselves worthy for Christ to enter into our souls this Christmas.

Even if we find that the time is too short for us to actually begin to adorn our souls with virtues and graces before He comes, He will still be pleased to find that we have at least begun to sweep out the vices and sins. Christ was not put off by the dirt in the stable but was able to transform that stable into Heaven by His mere presence. He can and will do the same for our souls. The sins that are detested and repented of do not form an obstacle to God's grace. Only the sins that we love and refuse to throw out prevent Him from coming to us.

He loves the work of transforming stables into Paradise; He loves transforming sinners into saints; defiled souls into living tabernacles where He can remain always.

Let us clear the way now so that there will be no reason for us to turn Him away when He comes seeking to dwell within our hearts.
Never be deceived by the lies of protestants

“Open a Protestant Bible, and you will find there are seven complete books missing – that is, seven books fewer than there are in the Catholic Bible, and seven fewer than there were in every collection and catalogue of Holy Scripture from the fourth (when the first translations of the complete Bible - OT and NT appeared) to the sixteenth century.”
Public School teachers --- write a poem about what Christmas means to you, but if you cannot mention Jesus!

Jesus 'not banned' from public schools

Pete Chagnon - OneNewsNow - 12/19/2008 7:00:00 AM

A religious rights advocate is troubled by a recent occurrence of censorship at a Mississippi school.

Hattiesburg, Mississippi, sixth-grader Andrew White was given a creative expression assignment as part of his language class. Students were allowed to choose from three topics, and Andrew chose "What Christmas Means to Me."

Andrew wrote a poem titled "A Great Christmas" that reads: "The best Christmas ever is when everyone is there. It is when everyone is laughing here and there. That is the Christmas I want to share. Christmas is about Jesus' birth. About peace on Earth. This is what Christmas is about. It is when He lay in a manger. And the three wise men come to see. That's what it means to me."

After Andrew referenced Jesus in his poem, his teacher Latasha Atkins docked his grade and told him that mentioning Jesus was not allowed. She then instructed him to write a new poem.

Matt Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, disagrees with Atkins' point-of-view. "The good news is that the principal, Carrie Hornsby, eventually sided with Andrew and his parents, changing his grade to a 100 and conceding that there was nothing improper in using the name of Jesus," he notes.

The most horrifying part of the story, according to Staver, is that this sixth-grader was told that Jesus is not allowed in public school. "I think some educators need education that the story of Christmas, and the birth of Jesus, is not banned from our public schools," he points out.

Principal Hornsby did, in fact, tell school teachers to write letters home to parents informing them that religious expression is permitted under federal guidelines. However, Andrew's paper was supposed to be displayed at the Winter's Writers Board, and it was not. "I think there is still work that needs to be done," Staver concludes.

"I think that this school needs to hear loud and clear from people around the country that this is not going to be tolerated, that in fact they should not censor, they must not censor, the name of Jesus or the essence of Christmas."

Andrew's mother Leah White contacted OneNewsNow and said this particular situation has frustrated her and her husband, James, to the point that they will be looking into home-schooling options. According to Leah, she would not have known about the situation had her son not been late in turning in the rewritten project, and she wonders what else is going on in the classroom without her knowledge.

Leah also stated that she will be contacting her state representatives and urging them to pass legislation protecting religious freedom in school.

How Jewish is Hollywood?

A poll finds more Americans disagree with the statement that 'Jews control Hollywood.' But here's one Jew who doesn't.,0,2313474.column

Joel Stein December 19, 2008

I have never been so upset by a poll in my life. Only 22% of Americans now believe "the movie and television industries are pretty much run by Jews," down from nearly 50% in 1964. The Anti-Defamation League, which released the poll results last month, sees in these numbers a victory against stereotyping. Actually, it just shows how dumb America has gotten. Jews totally run Hollywood.

How deeply Jewish is Hollywood? When the studio chiefs took out a full-page ad in the Los Angeles Times a few weeks ago to demand that the Screen Actors Guild settle its contract, the open letter was signed by: News Corp. President Peter Chernin (Jewish), Paramount Pictures Chairman Brad Grey (Jewish), Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Robert Iger (Jewish), Sony Pictures Chairman Michael Lynton (surprise, Dutch Jew), Warner Bros. Chairman Barry Meyer (Jewish), CBS Corp. Chief Executive Leslie Moonves (so Jewish his great uncle was the first prime minister of Israel), MGM Chairman Harry Sloan (Jewish) and NBC Universal Chief Executive Jeff Zucker (mega-Jewish). If either of the Weinstein brothers had signed, this group would have not only the power to shut down all film production but to form a minyan with enough Fiji water on hand to fill a mikvah.

The person they were yelling at in that ad was SAG President Alan Rosenberg (take a guess). The scathing rebuttal to the ad was written by entertainment super-agent Ari Emanuel (Jew with Israeli parents) on the Huffington Post, which is owned by Arianna Huffington (not Jewish and has never worked in Hollywood.)

The Jews are so dominant, I had to scour the trades to come up with six Gentiles in high positions at entertainment companies. When I called them to talk about their incredible advancement, five of them refused to talk to me, apparently out of fear of insulting Jews. The sixth, AMC President Charlie Collier, turned out to be Jewish.

As a proud Jew, I want America to know about our accomplishment. Yes, we control Hollywood. Without us, you'd be flipping between "The 700 Club" and "Davey and Goliath" on TV all day.

So I've taken it upon myself to re-convince America that Jews run Hollywood by launching a public relations campaign, because that's what we do best. I'm weighing several slogans, including: "Hollywood: More Jewish than ever!"; "Hollywood: From the people who brought you the Bible"; and "Hollywood: If you enjoy TV and movies, then you probably like Jews after all."

I called ADL Chairman Abe Foxman, who was in Santiago, Chile, where, he told me to my dismay, he was not hunting Nazis. He dismissed my whole proposition, saying that the number of people who think Jews run Hollywood is still too high. The ADL poll, he pointed out, showed that 59% of Americans think Hollywood execs "do not share the religious and moral values of most Americans," and 43% think the entertainment industry is waging an organized campaign to "weaken the influence of religious values in this country."

That's a sinister canard, Foxman said. "It means they think Jewsmeet at Canter's Deli on Friday mornings to decide what's best for the Jews." Foxman's argument made me rethink: I have to eat at Canter's more often."

That's a very dangerous phrase, 'Jews control Hollywood.' What is true is that there are a lot of Jews in Hollywood," he said. Instead of "control," Foxman would prefer people say that many executives in the industry "happen to be Jewish," as in "all eight major film studios are run by men who happen to be Jewish."

But Foxman said he is proud of the accomplishments of American Jews. "I think Jews are disproportionately represented in the creative industry. They're disproportionate as lawyers and probably medicine here as well," he said. He argues that this does not mean that Jews make pro-Jewish movies any more than they do pro-Jewish surgery. Though other countries, I've noticed, aren't so big on circumcision.

I appreciate Foxman's concerns. And maybe my life spent in a New Jersey-New York/Bay Area-L.A. pro-Semitic cocoon has left me naive. But I don't care if Americans think we're running the news media, Hollywood, Wall Street or the government. I just care that we get to keep running them.

This is just amazing - years ago they tried to hide this stuff - but now they know that the vast majority of people are soooooo stupid that they can rub it right in our faces!

Just recently I got a few DVD's of the Bob Newhart Show from the early 1970's - first two seasons from Netflix. There were several episodes in these first two seasons that deal with divorce in a very positive manner - and also with blatant fornication. As a kid I didn't remember this being in the show - probably to young to know what was going on.

But think about it - back in the early 1970's I bet there was still a negative feeling towards divorce among many people - but the Jewish satanists who controlled TV and film started portraying it in a favorable manner and divorce became acceptable - now they are doing it with homosexuality.

I know what is next, but it is not appropriate to discuss!

Turn off your TV and be very - very careful what movies you watch.
Celente Predicts Revolution, Food Riots, Tax Rebellions By 2012

Trend forecaster, renowned for being accurate in the past, says that America will cease to be a developed nation within 4 years, crisis will be "worse than the great depression"

Paul Joseph Watson

Thursday, November 13, 2008

The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions - all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.

Gerald Celente, the CEO of Trends Research Institute, is renowned for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events, which will send a chill down your spine considering what he told Fox News this week.

Celente says that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts.

"We're going to see the end of the retail Christmas....we're going to see a fundamental shift take place....putting food on the table is going to be more important that putting gifts under the Christmas tree," said Celente, adding that the situation would be "worse than the great depression".

"America's going to go through a transition the likes of which no one is prepared for," said Celente, noting that people's refusal to acknowledge that America was even in a recession highlights how big a problem denial is in being ready for the true scale of the crisis...

Smelly jobs suddenly a lot more attractive

By Will Van Sant, Times Staff Writer In print: Thursday, December 18, 2008

Wanted: Laborer willing to work 10-hour days outdoors in the stench and dust of the Pinellas County landfill. That's year-round, so you'll really enjoy the summer months when the landfill is ripest.

Starting salary: $9.50 an hour, plus benefits.

Sound like the job for you? With the economy crashing and unemployment rising in the Tampa Bay area, 136 people, most out of work, answered yes last month and applied for three such jobs.

"At one point I actually had a line of people 10 feet out the door waiting to talk to me," said Scott Hanus, an operations manager for Veolia Environmental Services, which runs the landfill. "I actually had some people down on their knees begging me."...

The newspaper tries to make a joke out of this with the title of this story - but when people are begging on their knees for a $9.50 an hour job - we are in deep trouble!

My first real job out of high school nearly 25 years ago was $9.25 an hour!

Jewish Settlers on 'Terror' Rampage, Says Hebron Mayor

CNN Jewish settlers are on a "terror" rampage in the West Bank city of Hebron, angry over the Israeli military's seizure of a disputed home, the city's mayor said Thursday. "What's happening in Hebron is terror by the settlers," the mayor, Khaled Osaily, told CNN. "They are attacking houses, setting fire to property and injuring people." Some of the settlers opened fire on Palestinians, critically injuring one, Palestinian sources told CNN. Five other Palestinians have been wounded in the rioting, the sources said.

Effort aims to counter Christian Zionism

Association will distribute a brochure saying the movement fosters hatred of Muslims and opposition to Mideast peace. A movement leader says the brochure presents a stereotype of Christian Zionists.

Before the year is up, nearly 45 million people will get more than a sermon at their churches -- they'll get a brochure titled "Why We Should Be Concerned About Christian Zionism."

The brochure says Christian Zionism "fosters fear and hatred of Muslims and non-Western Christians" and "can lead to the dehumanization of Israelis and Palestinians." Its distribution reflects the concerns of Christians who are trying to combat what they call the growing influence of Christian Zionism in the U.S...

Girl Handing Out Cough Drops Accused Of Selling Drugs At School

POSTED: Tuesday, December 16, 2008

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- A Clay County father said he wants answers after his daughter and two other kids at her elementary school were accused of selling drugs and facing possible punishment all over some Vitamin C drops.

Fourth-grade student Khalin Rivenbark said her teacher accused of her selling drugs in school.
"She saw me with the cough drops out and I guess she saw me give it to one of my friends, and then like, 'Oh, I see this good business going on around you,'" Khalin said. "She said, 'You're selling drugs.' (I said) 'No I'm not.'"

The drugs the girl allegedly had were the Halls Defense Vitamin C cough drops, which her father had put in her backpack weeks ago to take to school when the child was getting over a cold...

Wow - remember the Lusitania?

New Clues In Lusitania's Sinking

by Anne Goodwin Sides
November 22, 2008

When the Lusitania went down, it left a mystery behind: What was the cause of the second blast? After nearly a century of investigation, argument and intrigue, clues are starting to surface.

On May 7, 1915, the RMS Lusitania, jewel of the Cunard Line, was on a New York-to-Liverpool run when it was attacked by a German U-boat 12 miles off the coast of Ireland. At 2:10 p.m., a torpedo plowed into the ship and exploded. Fifteen seconds later, a massive second explosion rocked the ship again. Within a mere 18 minutes, the Lusitania plunged 300 feet to the bottom of the Celtic Sea. Of the 1,959 passengers and crew, 1,198 were lost, including 128 Americans. The tragedy sparked anti-German fervor that eventually drew the United States into World War I...

..."Everyone who survived said how awful it was, listening to all these people crying for help," he muses. "Just hundreds of people were about to perish in the cold water and just yelling for help."
Barnes shudders, imagining the wildly tilting lifeboats spilling passengers 60 feet headlong into the sea ... and a tiny periscope disappearing beneath the waves. His voice quavers slightly as he recounts the unfathomable actions of the British Royal Navy. The Navy had dispatched a cruiser from nearby Queenstown to undertake a rescue — but the ship was mysteriously recalled just as it steamed into view of the survivors. The stricken masses were left frantically waving in disbelief ...

a recent dive to the wreckage found the following:

...In his hands lie pieces of history: seven gleaming rounds of .303 ammunition, probably made by Remington in America and intended for the British Army. Ammunition that for decades British and American officials said didn't exist. Yet all around Andrews are mountains of jumbled rifle cartridges that glint like pirate's treasure in the robot's light.

Gregg Bemis, the American venture capitalist who planned and paid for this expedition, says if they're lucky, the dive team could find as many as 4 million bullets...

It must be remembered that Germany insisted that they attacked the Lusitania because it was delivering arms from the US to the UK. The US and Britain have always denied this.

Why do you think that the British navy ship turned back in sight of so many survivors in the water?

More deaths would more easily get the unthinking masses in the United States to want to go to war with Germany.

Things never change.

The Germans, if my memory serves me correctly - shot the torpedo in a part of the ship that should have disabled it - not sunk it in minutes - it was the secondary explosion that caused the ship to sink. The secondary explosion was all the arms and ammo that were on board. Yet the Germans were portrayed as these "animals" who wanted to kill as many as possible - funny - till today - I never heard that the British has a ship in sight of the survivors and left them in the water!

Who are the real animals?

Some facts...

Regarding the Spanish conquest and rule of Mexico.

While it is indeed true that some of the Spanish were greedy, racist, and evil - they were the minority. Here are a few facts to consider.

As early as 1550 - just 29 years after the Aztecs fell and Spain claimed Mexico for her own, the King sent a letter to the Provincial of Dominicans and ordered him to see to it that the natives were taught the Spanish language and to read and write in Spanish and ordered that schools be established wherever possible.

Zumarraga was the first Archbishop of Mexico. Icazabelcta described him as: "an apostle, poor, humble, wise, zealous, prudent, educated, charitable, and a mortal enemy of superstition and tyranny, and indefatigable propagator of the true doctrine of Jesus Christ..." He established hospitals, schools for both boys and girls and brought the first printing press to the New Word.

In a letter dated May 6, 1539 (even before the first known communications of the King on the subject) the Archbishop gave special attention to the education of Indian girls, since there were so few teaching nuns in the new world he trained and employed lay-women teachers.

He established boarding schools for girls and arts and crafts (today known as trade schools) for boys throughout the new nation.

In a letter to the King - the Archbishop wrote:

"In every dioceses there shall be a college for Indian boys and a great establishment with room for a large number of the daughters of the Indians."

In 1534 - 13 years after the conquest - the first college of the New World was established - Holy Cross (Santa Cruz) College in Tlaltelolco. By 1553 there were three principle colleges.

By 1560 brave nuns started coming to the New World - the Daughters of Charity and the Augustinians and they began establishing primary schools and colleges for the native girls.

Contrast this to protestant North America - where in we find the Governor of Virginia in a message to his legislature in 1839 that one quarter of the men applying for a marriage license could not write their own name!

That the United States Bureau of Education estimated in 1880 the average American was not receiving more than 82 days of education in his entire lifetime!

consider that in 1864 a question arose about admitting girls to the Hopkins school in New Haven - it was decided that: "all girls be excluded as improper and inconsistent with such grammar school as ye law enjoins and as the designs of this settlement"

by the 1700's girls in America were allowed an education - for example in Plymouth in 1793 girls were allowed one hour of education daily.

Consider that in 1803 of the 48 colleges in Massachusetts - only three were for girls!

I could go on and on with statistics - but it is embarrassing.

Now consider the fact that in racist America - none of these colleges allowed the natives of America to attend - yet in Spanish ruled Mexico the schools and colleges were PRIMARILY for the natives.

Had Mexico not faced the satanic - Judeo-Masonic revolutions of the 19th and 20th Century - she would certainly been the hub of the World and America knew this and that is why we worked with the revolutionaries and aided them in the destruction of Mexico.

And never forget what the Spanish freed the Mexican people from. The Aztecs/Mayans were tyrants beyond compare. Thousands of human beings were brutally murdered as offerings to the gods, tributes were demanded from everyone, and the people were enslaved by the ruling elite and the demons they worshipped. One of the reasons that 500 men were able to defeat the huge Aztec empire was that they had so many enemies among the natives and the Aztecs were on a path of self destruction. But most of all - because the Spanish came in the name of Christ to convert those whom they encountered to the Lord - and they did!

Her Doctrine and Morals
Third Sunday of Advent
14 December 2008

Dear Friend,
Last week we saw the disciples of St. John the Baptist asking Christ who He was, and this week we now see men asking St. John the Baptist who he is.

Notwithstanding what we heard Christ say of St. John in last week's Gospel: that he is "more than a prophet", let us consider what St. John says of himself in today's Gospel.

After denying that he is Christ, or Elias, or the prophet, He says of himself that he is the voice of one crying in the wilderness, `Make straight the way of the Lord' as says the prophet Isaias. At the time when John commenced to preach and to baptize, the belief (based on the prophesies) was general among the Israelite people that the promised Messias had either already made his appearance, or that his advent was near.

This mission of St. John was the same that the Catholic Church has been given. The Church is that voice crying in the wilderness. She has cried out all over the world in the greatest cities and in the smallest villages and even today in the world wide internet. But, her cry falls mostly upon deaf ears. There is a hollowness and emptiness in the world today due to the lack of divine grace and supernatural life which causes the cry of the Church to echo in the void.

The Church cries out not about the Redeemer yet to come, but of the Redeemer Who has come and given us the direction and means to follow after Him. She preaches of the mercy and goodness of Jesus which is available now; and she warns of the justice and judgment to come when He returns.

She cries out but the world refuses to take her seriously. The world does not wish to see the humble Christ as their god. It is too humiliating to have as our God one who was born in a stable, suffered upon a cross like a criminal, and offers Himself upon our altars under the appearance of bread and wine.

She cries out to the world to do penance and make straight the way of the Lord. But, again and again the world refuses to do penance. The world refuses to even acknowledge that they have done anything wrong and are in need of penance. The evils that they do they attempt to justify and declare that they are not evils but are virtues instead. Or they deem them unavoidable things due to the weakness of our human nature as if to say God is to blame for He made us this way. All manner of sexual perversity is today blamed upon God. How often have we not heard that "God made me this way."? How often do they use fallen nature as their justification? They tell us to look at certain instances in the animal kingdom where the same thing takes place and wish for us to accept this as justification for their sinful lives. God made us the head of His creation to correct and save fallen creation, not to follow and imitate it. The adulterer, the fornicator, the sodomizer, the glutton, the avaricious, the liar, the thief, the murderer, abortionist, etc all make excuses. And the cries of the Church fall upon deaf ears.

There have now even arisen false churches that will cater to each of these sins and still claim to be followers of God and of Christ. In this hellacious cacophony of sins and vices the Church is truly a voice crying in the wilderness. She is outnumbered, and her voice is all but drowned out in the loud screaming of demonic sin and vice. Yet, she cries out consistently in season and out of season, "make straight the way of the Lord."

This season of Advent we celebrate the anticipation of the world for the coming of the Redeemer, but we also are reminded of the need for Christ to come to us even today as Our Redeemer. We can only find Him in the Church and Sacraments that He has established. Let us go to the Church and hear her cries and act upon them. Let us make straight the way of the Lord. Let us renounce the ways of the world and sin and vice.

Let us turn with all our hearts minds and souls to Christ in the crib, on the cross and upon the altar. And filled with the love for God let us renounce the evils of our past, the temptations of our passions, the world, and the devils. Then the way will be straight for our Lord to enter in. And the voice of the Church will not have sounded in our ears in vain. Our souls will no longer be a desert or wilderness but will be the living temples of God.

When we have listened to this voice crying in the wilderness and cleared our souls of all that prevents our Lord from entering in then He will come and we can do as St. Paul says in today's epistle: "Rejoice in the Lord always."

17 But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 18 For not he who commendeth himself, is approved, but he, whom God commendeth.

India Bishop Cancels Christmas Celebrations
Oncoming Elections Bring Security Concerns
LUCKNOW, India, DEC. 9, 2008 (

Faced to increased security concerns leading up to national elections, Bishop Gerald Mathias of Lucknow has cancelled traditional Christmas festivities in his diocese.

Aid to the Church in Need reported that the bishop of the northern Indian diocese called off the activities that normally draw tens of thousands of people to the city, including an annual Christmas "Dance Drama," and a traditional event for the chief minister of the state, governor and other dignitaries. The diocesan vicar general, Father Ignatius D'Souza, explained to the charity that the period preceding a major election is an unstable time, with the "risk of aggressive acts by extremist political parties determined to influence voting by fair means or foul."India is set to have general elections -- held every five years -- by May.

The vicar affirmed: "We are concerned about fundamentalist activity. The extremists' strategy is very long term and they might see our diocesan Christmas activities as an opportunity to take action."Although we have very good security arrangements for the events and have an excellent relationship with the local police department here, we can't be too careful.
